Room clean and comfortable. Could not quite figure out WiFi though.
Loud children running around outside Room late in evening (opposite). Then noisy people in corridor inc.children at 0130 hrs. Fail to see why Days Inn still have Smoking Rooms. The smell pervades the corridors.
We were round the back so it was very quiet. The decor was tired but the room was clean and had everything we needed. Yorkshire teabags made us feel at home .....
The awful mattress in room 218 with springs sticking out meant no sleep ....
The people were friendly and the location great
Not enough child spaces none near hotel but over all was excellent better then Leicester forest never stay there again
a warm welcome close to show ground and A1 would stay again when attending the show ground
Uninterrupted sleep! Comfy bed. Very clean. Friendly.
I would have liked to have been able to go somewhere for a quiet drink with my book in the evenings. I realised afterwards there was a bar area upstairs.
nice accommodation for the money
wi fi not good
As with all these type of places you dont go expecting luxury! All we wanted was a place to have sleep to break up our trip. It was comfortable & clean just off A1 and cheap. Compared to comparable places - rooms were big & bed was king size which was a bonus. Great powerful shower.
Too hot + newly decorated (which is good) but paint fumes were tad overbearing. Problem with staying in a place next to a busy road - you cant sleep with window with window open to noise - so couldnt ventilate room.
clean & comfortable
food options at the services - as you would expect very expensive rubbish - no fault of the hotel - be aware if you want decent food you will have to travel into Peterborough
wi fi and big room and bathroom..
car park was full up when i arrived... had to really search for a space.. rude cleaner on floor still cleaning at 2pm when i arrived..expensive hotel price..
All of it
We loved the lovely shower, because the seat in the shower was great for us, being an elderly couple, in fact we have never seen a seating like this one and certainly not in any travel lodges before. When we come again to Peterborough to visit relatives we most certainly will endeavor to book again with you . Brian and Jean Parker. Padstow. Cornwall.
Bed uncomfortable, springs were felt.
The way we were treated upon arrival
The matress wasn't very comfty
Great value for money.
Very poor wifi using BTOpenzone.
We were at the Burghley Horse Trials for four days so it wasn't about the hotel or Peterborough but the trip to Stamford. The 'bar' was a fridge behind reception, the 'lounge' a couple of chairs and a TV. No food (unless you count the slightly odd breakfast - goodness knows where you ate it!!) They put the room rate up for Burghley Event which I suppose is par for the course around there. TV and wifi worked well.
Although the bathroom was an OK size the water pressure was abysmal!! Had to move in and out of the pathetic water stream.
Dogs in neighbouring rooms barking during the early hours !! Shame
Rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff helpful and freindly. Location is by the bust A1 with services nearby. Good nights sleep even with motorway nearby.
Close to A1 motorway. However didn't hear road noise at night.
size of room, bed, wifi,
needs refurbishing. carpets threadbare. my room(115)as one goes into the bathroom the floor makes an awful noise waking up the other person.
Although it was on a busy road, it was very quiet, and the the room was spotless, would recommend
The hotel was what I expected it to be, a good standard all round, perfect for business travel, Thank You
Nothing, the hotel was exactly as I expected.
the availability of the surrounding shopping area
there was no chemist shop.
value for money. Comfortable room.
Cleanliness in shower was not as good as it should have been
Stayed before nice to have a night away.
Convenient location and fairly quiet. Good sized room with a decent bed and a great shower. Perfect for a short stay. Close to the other services.
Breakfast - really NOT worth the money. Toaster was lousy, bread was unpleasant, 'Hot Water' wasn't hot. Would take my breakfast in McDonalds or Costa next time.
Easy to the A1 and good faciliities.
Room a bit shabby with torn curtains and worn chair.
