The staff and convenient location convenient for travel plans.
Cold water tap in basin faulty. One bed had the thinnest of duvets, cold night for one, the other was OK.
no toilet roll or paper,no food,no bin cleared
Staff were superb, couldn't do enough. Clean and comfortable
Mattress' were a bit soft but that was all
How friendly the staff are and very helpful
The ongoing roadworks in area made journey a little difficult
The place was clean. Staff were polite and helpful.
There were a noisy group of people on the same floor of us. They kept banging on our door then running off. We put a "do not disturb" sign on our door. Someone came alone and thought it would be funny to turn it around to say "clean me". Which meant the cleaner came in our room while we were trying to get dressed !!!
Staff very polite and friendly. We only stayed one night so did not use any facilities.Basic room but good value for money £45 for family of 4.
Using sat nav with postcode does not work , so got lost returning to Inn.
Proximity to M27
No air con Very noisy with window open. Too hot when closed.
The staff were polite helpful and friendly and the room was clean warm and comfortable.
When we went into the services for breakfast the service was appalling we were ignored by the lady behind the counter and although we had bought breakfast vouchers we were treated with contempt and were not given the drinks as part of the deal although stipulated on the voucher. On further investigation we realized the lady was from eastern Europe and could not understand what we were saying she never smiled once and the food when it finally arrived was slammed down on the table in front of us. The restaurant was also filthy with uncleaned tables.
Followed satnav to postcode provided, was taken to another location. Asked dog walker for directions and he said I was the third person to stop him for directions to the Days Inn. I had to drive 25 mins to get back to hotel. Although the room was a no smoking room it smelled of smoke and their were smoke burns in the carpet and furniture.
Welcoming staff clean, large family room
the cleanliness fact there was free parking
The staff were very pleasant and tried to be helpful
The location was a bit awkward for us as our destination was Romsey. Easy to get to Romsey but long journey around the motorway to get back to the hotel. We asked to change rooms because it smelled damp but kept it because smell in the alternative was cigarette smoke
Room was clean
The staffs ability to deal with Coustmers
Easy to find on M27 Service Station Free Parking
Circumnavigating Southampton to get back on to Westbound M27 was irritating Lack of eateries on Site (McDonalds, Costa, or basic Service Station)
Inpossible to get there...............................
Quiet secure location
The Food at the services was very poor quality and over priced for what was available
This hotel was very convenient for my early morning flight from Southampton airport. I felt right at home and everything about the hotel was perfect for me
Comfort of bed and welcome from reception was nice. Seperate bed for child
Smell of feet and musty smell in room and bathroom, desk falling apart, shower terrible - one stream of water..., marks all up and over walls.. goodness knows what that was, laid in bed and could NOT get away from cheesy feet smell towards one wall.. woke up all night smelling it.
I stay here quite often on business trips. The location is convenient for Southampton Hospital where I need to go to work and the staff are always helpful and friendly. For a budget hotel this one has everything you need and it is clean and comfortable for a short stay.
I did ask for a travel cot but none were left. Good job my daughter wasn't a young baby
Very close with simple access to peppa pig world. Very kind and nice staff offering good advise (we wrer told about a place to have breakfast the next day and a really delicious family friendly pub right next to pp world. Clean. Spacious family room on the ground floor. Costa etc nearby on the service station. Accomodation was as described.
The receptionist when we arrived was helpful.
I have stayed in several Days Inn without any bad reviews but this one is worn out. We came down for a family funeral but couldnt find anyone who understood what we were saying. The free wi fi none of us could get to work so had problem locating crematorium. As you can gather not impressed wouldnt recommend to anyone and won't be coming back.
Location ....... Easy access being in a motorway service area and close to Southampton Cruise Port.
Noisy venue. Though in a motorway service area, the food court was very poor ...... shabby, poor food choice, not very clean and bad service.
3 rooms were sold to partying lads who were very noisy even when asked to be quite after 10pm. Knocking on each other doors at 5am wasn't appreciated. They should have a policy against this type of booking.
Room was comfortable and slept well.
Had no water for a whole day, so couldn't wash or even flush the toilet. Sometimes there was no-one on the front desk and when I rung the bell (repeatedly) they didn't come for approx 15 mins as they were at the services getting food and drink for themselves.
