everything was great
Trying to find the services. 4 Miles from Stafford could be above Stafford or below. I drove 70 miles out of my way to find the place
TV; Tea and Coffee;Shower
Having to travel to Newcastle and back for access- I was travelling from Cardiff to attend a funeral at Stafford. Your option on the Internet seemed best.
The location is convenient right next to the main services £10 for pet is better than £20 at Travelodge
I felt like I might be fined for parking ? Pets should be free as they don't use any facilities
The family room was spacious and both beds comfortable. We could make tea/coffee ourselves and the shower was great. Thank you
Location was great as we were travelling around the Midlands area.
Wifi kept going offline and difficult to connect to.
Comfort of the bed was brilliant and plenty of pillows. Bathroom actually had a bath, not many rooms do these days. T.V. had plenty of channels. Tea and coffee in the room. Good sized room too.Convenient location even though I was going north on M6, so easy to find. Great value for money
No actual restaurant in the building. It would be nice to be able to have a buffet breakfast within the building rather than a mass produced one at the outlets over the pathway.
great staff price was awesome beng able to have our dog with us was essential and they were happy to have him there too
Spacious room and very comfortable bed
The bath water was lukewarm and the water pressure was poor. Boiled water in the kettle and added the water to the bath/
It was cheap and does what it says on the tin.
They need to invest in some bleach and scrub the tiles and drains in the bathroom...it looks very tired.
-Ample and close parking -Several food options nearby
-Pubic hair on the bathroom floor.....lots of it ! -Filthy taps/basin and dirty surfaces in bathroom -Tissue box in bathroom almost empty...one tissue left -Damp smell -Mould all over bathroom ceiling -No extractor fan in bathroom and impractical to open bedroom window due to motorway noise... not a good combination ! bathroom was dripping wet after the first shower for the duration. -Very watered down toiletries which were useless... just don't bother ! -Empty reception desk on 2 out of 3 occasions we needed it.....needs more staff -Sticky/hairy carpet -Had 2 rooms booked for a family but not allocated adjoining rooms....initially on different floors but changed to same floor at least. -No de-caff coffee. -Stains and damage on ( and something suspect stuck to) the bedroom wall
staff helpfulness, location was easy to find. On the whole reasonable value for money
sofa bed mattress was stained and uncomfortable, picture shows double bed and 2 singles, bathroom fittings old and dirty. Book in time of 3pm is rather late although the staff were very good letting us in early. Unmaned reception area at various times.
Efficient receptionist when we asked for items not in room.
Arrived late in evening after being at Alton Towers for the day. The room was for a family of 2 adults and 2 children. The sofa bed was made up but with no pillows. There was also not enough towels or cups for 4 people
Excellent value for money. Very clean.
The lady at reception wasn't very pleasant. We had a family room with a double bed and double sofa bed, the double bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, however the sofa bed was comfortable for the children.
Mattress was very poor, thin & horrible to sleep on. Some dubious stains could have been blood or chocolate on sofa bed which my children slept on. No extra pillows in room, we all had 1 each, when we asked for some at reception they had none left, so we were given a extra duvet to roll up & put under our pillows.
Mattress on sofa to soft, could feel sofa through it, had to put it on floor, room was damp.
Staff were nice and helpful, particularly re us changing rooms due to the damp smell and mouldy bathroom.
Cleanliness not good. First room was damp and mouldy, and smelt as s result. Bathrooms need ventilation and a proper clean. Other people's body hair on the floor. Not good.
Room in poor condition .Bed and sofa need replaced /
Nice place to stay
My son,s stock for the toilet for 30mins. Ask the staff for the help but they dont have key to open the door. Its need to be child friendly lock the door.
Clean hotel, basic hotel. Friendly staff. Large rooms.
WiFi is quite poor. Little expensive for the standard of room.
The bed in room 1 was terrible ! The springs are poking out ! Absolutely awful bed
Reception staff were well trained and friendly. Linen and towels were spotless. Request for iron and board was met quickly. Yes, there was some traffic noise, but the hotel is on the M6 - what do you expect?
Too many intrusive details are required to log into the free WiFi.
Not a lot.
My room had a horrible smell like stinky feet could not be bothered to complain as too tired after a 4hr journey,i know I should have, carpets in corridor very badly stained. Days Inn needs too send in inspectors to look at some of these properties, stayed in one the night after and a big difference, clean, tidy and modern.
The grounds to walk my dogs
I thought the Days Inn looked very tired, having only paid £50 for the room I felt it was over priced, I noticed lots of human hairs on the bedding. Not the best Days Inn that I have stayed in, don't think I will be going back.
Room clean and spacious. Cleaning staff very cheerful and friendly and helpful when needing extra service. Waterfall and ducks swimming in the pond. Very relaxing to see and hear helping to unwind.
Arrived early to be told check in time was at 3pm. Desk was shut and shutter down.Reception staff not helpful outside their working hours time. Went for a cuppa and came back to sit at reception for 20 minutes. The shutters remained down and did not answer questions till it was time to open the front desk. Yet same staff were behind the shutters sitting talking and drinking tea who did the booking in. Not on duty all day or 24/7 for guests. No restaurant to get a proper hot dinner just Fast Food service. Not good enough after travelling a long distance to welcome you to a restful relaxing nights sleep. Poor service. What happened to the Biscuits with the tea and coffee.
It was reasonably priced
There was black mould growing in the bathroom and the whole room smelt very strongly of damp. The carpet and furnishings were very worn and Dated looking. The bed was especially uncomfortable. The wifi when it did work was very slow.
