The staff were friendly and helpful.
The room we stayed in was damp and had mould in the corner of the room. You could smell it as soon as you entered the room. The room was supposed to have a double bed and 2 singles and it was a double bed and a double sofa bed which wasn't comfortable at all. Also my 2 boys had to share a bed which I wasn't happy about. There is only one entrance and exit which means coming from Stafford it's a 10 mile round trip as you cannot access it from both sides of the motorway. I won't be staying again.
Free wi-fi, tea & coffee, good shower.
Facilities at the service station very limited for food! Beds and pillows very soft.
friendly helpful staff. quiet location. value for money.
there was nothing I didn't like.
Convenience all round
My booking did not register on their web.
What you pay for
You get what you pay for.
Mattresses need to be changed
Beds very uncomfortable
Convenient location for onward travel
Breakfast in service area was disappointing
Bad odour in the corridor
location and proximity to M6 price of family room
bathroom in need of refurbishment
Location Facility cleanliness
Polite friendly helpful staff. For 1 or 2 nights room is all you need for stop over.
Room smelt damp, childrens bed of childrens wee, and bathroom had no ventilation (so exacerbates mould problem in room).
No TV cable connection no internet connection staff was not helpful at all. I would never stay there
Good value for money. Clean bedrooms/bathroom. Good surrounding service area.
Further away from Alton Towers than we thought! Mattress was very lumpy.
The staff where very friendly & offered good local knowledge, thank you to them
The room didn't smell fresh which gave a first bad impression. The bathroom was run down, the bed squeaked as you moved & there was minimal padding on the second bed. Facilities 2 mugs for a family of three ..... Two tea bags, two of every thing pretty much.
It was a good value for money and the location was very accessible. There were loads of amenities around having the hotel situated in a services area. I would really recommend this to my friends and would stay again if on route to manchester
The other double bed was a pull out bed.
Check in was easy I booked 2 rooms one for my mother and one for my self and kids booking on card and paying at hotel was great as I could pay my own so could my mother rather than it coming off one card.
I booked a family room and stated it was myself , husband and 2 Childeren. I was given a room with a double bed and double pull out bed so my 2 children had to share a bed. When I asked about it I was told this was a family room , not impressed not only did my Childeren not have any sleep but neither did I.
When we got there we were very happy a 24 hour macdonals just out side and a fast wifi connection. Also the hotel was very cheep and well worth the money.
Me and my friend had decided To go to v festival this year we had booked the hotel in advance. Getting to the hotel was a nightmare we didn't drive so we had to get a taxi to it (the taxi costing £45 just to drive up the road). After the festival we had the same problem except because it was on the motorway the taxi driver had to drive a extra ten miles to turn round and head south bound costing us a bit more than what we expected.
Cheap, near motorway , would stay again if doing it on the cheap, you certainly get what you pay for.
Wifi, TV, beds,toiletries,
It was a central location for our journey.
The fact that you had to travel 10 miles out of your way to arrive back at the location a fly over would be brilliant.
The free wifi was a must for teenagers and the cleanliness was amazing.
The comfort of the beds.
that there were a lot of facilities close by,and you couldn't hear any traffic.was good for the money we paid,Nice shower,
there was a musky smell in the hotel and was strong in the room.but after a little while you did get used to it.we was on the ground floor and walking to our room the carpet in the hall looked a little strange.i didn't ask but it did look like they may have been a victim of flooding, minor things really.
Comfortable, spacious, right on the M6
Room far too stuffy. Duty manager needs a service check instead of being on his mobile while serving guests. But only minor.
