Near family this time I could not fault the cleanliness
Everything ! The comfort , the quality , the value for money , the staff friendliness & helpfulness & hospitality , the décor , the great facilities & the ideal great location !!!
Nothing !!!!!!! Honestly !!!!!!!
Claire at reception was just wonderful. She was very friendly approachable, professional and helpful. She also assisted me with my medication storage needs, which was most appreciated. Thank you.
The shower head in the shower wouldn't stay upright, so we had to hold it all the time. But we managed.
No breakfast included.
Convenient for major routes North, South East & West; easy to find, no problems parking. reasonable choice of food in adjacent food court. No problems paying for stay on arrival as on a tight budget.
Wi-fi seemed slow on last night of stay, but that may have been a problem with my laptop - it wasn't very good at my next destination either. Laptop since fixed.
Good location, friendly staff, and nice and clean.
A bit noisy.
Room was clean and spacious. Staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Good selection for breakfast at a good price.
It was good value. Lots of facilities next door.
Room was dated and needed a fresh coat of paint.
As no double rooms were available I booked a twin room. The room we were given had one twin bed and one narrow roll away bed which surprised us. We did not complain but the narrow bed did not make for a comfortable nights sleep.
Generally a comfortable hotel, made better by the quality of the desk staff. All very polite and helpful at all times. Basic breakfast was OK
The constant buzzy noise audible from our room - possibly a 'generator' in a nearby building? Don't pick a room at the end of the corridor
Like that there are plenty of food outlets
The double beds are not very comfy but the singles are good
a better selection of evening meals
Location and price
No air con
Nothing to dislike
Quiet room even with air conditioning and a good nights sleep, excellent shower.
No buffet breakfast facility
The size of the room and air conditioning worked well.
The tiny flat screen TV and speed of the wireless.
Lack of secure wi-fi
Convenient location. Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean.
Premises generally poorly maintained, inter alia: shower tap came off in my hand; shower head sprayed sideways as well as the more normal down; minimal selection of tv stations; corridor smelled of old cigarettes; room smelled fusty; toilet handle came out of the wall; carpet threadbare in heavy traffic areas. For this I was charged seventy quid (room only)!
Location-close to motorway
Weird smell in first floor corridor. No shampoo in dispenser. If you book for a group, be careful you don't get charged for everyone.
Friendly, helpful staff. Quiet. Good parking. Excellent shower
Clean but slightly stained bed cover, Near useless air conditioning. Lack of lift. Only 1 chair in room
M&S food in linked services building. Quieter than most lodge type hotels on services.
AC was ineffective.
That I was allocated a disabled room when I had asked for a standard one. It is NOT acceptable for a disabled room to be the default position and I still don't understand why I was given it - I made the booking a month ago. The receptionist refused to move me, despite my distress (caused by the fact that my dear mum recently passed away, and she was disabled - the room brought everything back to me) and despite the fact that other guests had yet to check in and there were vacant rooms. He said they might object to the disabled room?!? But it was clearly OK to leave me in it. It was incredibly upsetting. I had to wait till the morning to see the manager, whose attitude could not have been more professional - but I had spent a miserable night in the meantime. Probably the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel.
no wifi on the first night. I booked especially because of the free wifi
Space in the room Location excellent for access Space in bathroom All facilitiesa traveller could need Another room nearby for eating breakfast or watching TV and spacious reception too.
It was hard to coolt he room on a very hot night Noise from nearby rooms.
