smoking room was disgusting

quiet and clean

Smoking rooms, room layout, good price, good value

Facilities were ok and it was clean.

There was bass coming from music being played close to the hotel, maybe in a function room. The smoke alarm had a bag taped over it and the toilet roll holder was coming away from the wall.

Friendly, helpful staff. Free parking. Convenient. Well priced.

Some of the fixtures and fittings starting to show a little sign of wear. Some minor maintenance needed

The size and layout of the room. The cleanliness of the facilities. The informative staff.

The firmness of the bed and pillows although I realise this is a personal choice. The room was hot which isn't really conducive to a good sleep. Opening the windows wasn't really an option as noise carried up from the car park. I think turning the heat down would save the hotel money.

Easy access from the motorway and the price

I booked a non smoking room. I was allocated a non smoking room but the room stank of cigaratte smoke. We were in a rush to get to a wedding and having paid for an early check in were unable to move rooms. Staff sprayed air freshener (of course this didn't work). Had to sleep with the window open but still the stench lingered. Staff should inform reception about such incidents so the rooms can be allocated to people who don't mind.

Although I booked a non-smoking room I got a smoking room. There was an smoke odour (not significant) generally, but it didn't really worry me for one night.

Size of room. Efficient friendly staff. Good room facilities for the price.

It was only 15minutes from the venue we were going to the following day.

The wash basin in the bedroom instead of in with the toilet and shower.

Cash point in the services charges a fee for withdrawing money. I suggest using the free one at the petrol station.

Had to leave the hotel to get any breakfast. Continental breakfast was not available during our stay.

Comfortable, clean and good value. Helpful staff when I had a couple of problems (one my fault) - especially the housekeeper and staff on reception. Like the fact you can easily access the adjoining facilities.

rooms weren't very sound proof and were disturbed by other guests at times.

Easy access to the services

Room was absolutely freezing when we got there. Put the heating on full blast and it didn't warm up for around 4 hours. Insufficient bedding. Had to use towels I had brought with me as blankets, along with my coat.

The rooms were lovely and clean plenty of space

The main hallways were beer very warm a little to warm for my young baby boy

No hot water in shower so had to leave with out one when we complained no one came to sort this out

far too hot in main corridor upstairs. staff not very welcoming-very quiet. not sufficient beds for occupancy, (one double bed and one single bed for two children and one adult caused argument who was sharing with mum). Double bed matress very lumpy, ribs felt bruised in the morning.

Excrement in toilet. Shower tray would not drain. Broken bed. Noise in the early morning by drunken persons that was not effectively policed.
