This private, refurbished hotel with restaurant is a short walk from the center of Droitwich Spa and a 10-minute drive from the M5 highway.

The beautiful, half-timbered Bell is across the street from Tewkesbury Abbey. It has a friendly bar and restaurant and cozy bedrooms with private bathrooms, some offering views of the Abbey.

The room had the most uncomfortable pillows I have ever slept on. Whilst they were obviously a high quality feather pillow there was just no support at all.
Easy on line booking Helpful receptionist Competitive price
Wont be long before the room needs refurbishment
Parking was perfect.
We were told on arrival that we could not pay cash unless we had ID (which we don't carry, unless abroad). Had we not been able to pay by card, we'd have been forced to sleep in the car!!!. We were not at all aware when booking that cash payment could only be done if ID was supplied. The Family beds were NOT SET UP, the bedding was not even supplied in the room. After arriving early hours of the morning, we had to go down to reception to ask for the bedding. Room was POORLY supplied with coffee and with toilet rolls.
good location and courteous and helpful staff
we stayed in room 7 ground floor. Bath room floor is old, dirty and uneven with a risk of falls, particularly for elderly people. Shower tap is very stiff and water is very hot even on the minimum. we couldn't have a bath.
Friendly and helpful staff on reception. Comfortable bed and big duvet. I was surprised that it was so quiet considering it was on the Services of the motorway. Vouchers gave a discount for food in the service station. Plenty of hot water and towels.
The bathroom was 'tired' with a chipped bath and a 'not-too-fresh' smell, although it had obviously been cleaned. I'm not a lover of motorway fast food, but it was OK for an overnight stay.
Location was good for us especially with the back access road to Upton on Severn. 24 hour Costa in the services
Room was very hot and a little tired.
The staff are great and very helpful - they did change our room after 'the incident' (despite a sign outside saying the hotel was full??) and gave us directions to a great pub / restaurant (the Bluebell)
The rooms are very basic with ROCK HARD beds, that I defy anyone with a vertebrae to successfully sleep on. Then there was 'the incident' with the ants nest on the window ledge, which was apparently regularly sprayed!! Note to management: spraying the symptoms will not remove the cause - i.e. you need to get Rent a Kill in
Proximity with a shopping centre including restaurants. Nice room for families. It offers the essential amenities.
The TV channels don't include kids ones. That really bored them to the point that they started crying.
The service was outstanding. Staff were overly helpful. What a good team!
The pillows were too big (deep) I brought my own anyway, but they were unsuitable for my son. I guess I should've brought his too. They were clean/New though. . It's hardly a biggy, we really enjoyed our stay. Many thanks!
It was convenient for us as it broke up a long journey
The only food available within walking was at the services which was overpriced.
Conveniently situated with friendly staff.
No real dislikes.
Great staff great local pub 2 miles very enjoyable for a service area stay
It was convenient to the motorway, easy to get to once you know to use the service access road to cross to the other side of the motorway. Check in was easy and swift. Just what you expect from this type of accommodation. (in the Premier Inn, Travelodge type). I would stay again.
It was hot too hot, and it had the window limiters on so that didn't help. There was also no way of getting cold water out of the shower. The shower was in need of repair. The hotel bathrooms need an update. Also a supply of cold water and fans to guest would help. I also did not appreciate the receptionist knocking on the door once I had stripped into my PJ to be cooler. She complained my two children were running up and down the corridor awakening people. As I showed her my youngest was asleep and my eldest stipped to his boxer shorts watch TV as he couldn't sleep in the heat (so he wouldn't be allowed out of the room stripped). There was noise up and down the corridor during the night but it seemed from the floor above. I didn't complain as I think it made no difference it was the heat stopping me sleeping.
The receptionist was welcoming and helpful. Room was very comfortable and had a good sleep whilst breaking a long journey. Service area had good facilities.
Lack of towels in the bathroom and one of the two there appeared to have been used. This may have been due to the policy of not providing fresh towels unless they are left on the floor by the previous guest.
Very welcoming staff, I was travelling with two dogs so we had a room on the ground floor- comfortable. Location is perfect for me and we will be coming back.
Staff helpful and friendly. Convenient location, and although they pre warned about traffic noise I never noticed it. Refreshing to find a company that allows dogs. I always travel with mine I feel safer. Although this is motor way service area I found the surrounding relaxing.
Nice big comfortable room with every thing you need,For a short stay.
No aircon .Room was very hot.Had to keep window open But then it was noisey from the M way outside the window. So we did not sleep verywell.
Fan in room
To Hot, could not open window much for safety reasons. This caused a un comfortable bad nights sleep.
very comfortable and very pleasant staff
could not find the hotel when coming of the motorway from the north, no signs took ages kept going down roads till we found it
All in all my visit was everything I had hoped for, lovely spacious room with an amazing bed, tea, coffee, facilities, free wi fi and TV. Access to the music festival I was attending was first class, the Motel was extremely quiet at night so sleeping was no problem.
Cant fault my stay at all, will definitely stay again next year when I visit the music festival.
Convenient for travel. Very helpful receptionist who dealt with the various issues
The first room offered smelt of cigarettes in spite of being a no smoking one. We were changed to another which was very hot busy were given a fan.
Location and convenience
I states a double room with disability access and pictures shows, double beds but all disabled rooms have twin and no wetroom breakfast was vile
Tricia on reception was wonderful welcoming and nothing was too much trouble - the room although basic had everything we needed & was comfortable and clean - the bathroom could probably do with an upgrade bit was clean & functional ....
Noise from the M5 and traffic in and out not great for a fussy light sleeper like myself !
Bathroom was dirty and found a dirty nappy in the bin from the previous occupants. You need air conditioning as the temperature inside the room was 32deg and very stuffy as you can't open the window enough to let the fresh air in.
