Score from 140 reviews Wonderful
Location was good for us especially with the back access road to Upton on Severn. 24 hour Costa in the services
Room was very hot and a little tired.
Proximity with a shopping centre including restaurants. Nice room for families. It offers the essential amenities.
The TV channels don't include kids ones. That really bored them to the point that they started crying.
The service was outstanding. Staff were overly helpful. What a good team!
The pillows were too big (deep) I brought my own anyway, but they were unsuitable for my son. I guess I should've brought his too. They were clean/New though. . It's hardly a biggy, we really enjoyed our stay. Many thanks!
It was convenient for us as it broke up a long journey
The only food available within walking was at the services which was overpriced.
Conveniently situated with friendly staff.
No real dislikes.
Great staff great local pub 2 miles very enjoyable for a service area stay
Very welcoming staff, I was travelling with two dogs so we had a room on the ground floor- comfortable. Location is perfect for me and we will be coming back.
Staff helpful and friendly. Convenient location, and although they pre warned about traffic noise I never noticed it. Refreshing to find a company that allows dogs. I always travel with mine I feel safer. Although this is motor way service area I found the surrounding relaxing.
Nice big comfortable room with every thing you need,For a short stay.
No aircon .Room was very hot.Had to keep window open But then it was noisey from the M way outside the window. So we did not sleep verywell.
Fan in room
To Hot, could not open window much for safety reasons. This caused a un comfortable bad nights sleep.
very comfortable and very pleasant staff
could not find the hotel when coming of the motorway from the north, no signs took ages kept going down roads till we found it
All in all my visit was everything I had hoped for, lovely spacious room with an amazing bed, tea, coffee, facilities, free wi fi and TV. Access to the music festival I was attending was first class, the Motel was extremely quiet at night so sleeping was no problem.
Cant fault my stay at all, will definitely stay again next year when I visit the music festival.
Convenient for travel. Very helpful receptionist who dealt with the various issues
The first room offered smelt of cigarettes in spite of being a no smoking one. We were changed to another which was very hot busy were given a fan.
Location and convenience
I states a double room with disability access and pictures shows, double beds but all disabled rooms have twin and no wetroom breakfast was vile
Tricia on reception was wonderful welcoming and nothing was too much trouble - the room although basic had everything we needed & was comfortable and clean - the bathroom could probably do with an upgrade bit was clean & functional ....
Noise from the M5 and traffic in and out not great for a fussy light sleeper like myself !
Bathroom was dirty and found a dirty nappy in the bin from the previous occupants. You need air conditioning as the temperature inside the room was 32deg and very stuffy as you can't open the window enough to let the fresh air in.
Too many dogs staying
It was convenient for us, hence our booking it as we drove down from Edinburgh to go to our friends' wedding.
The room wasn't ready and they got our booking wrong, saying they had us down as just two adults with no children. Then the receptionist proceeded to blame booking.com for all their massive woes concerning wrong bookings. We waited an hour (9:15pm) for the children's beds to be made up and when she finally came one of the mattresses wasn't even there! When we were packing up to leave one of the kids pulled off the bed sheet of the mattress she had found for us and it had lots of brown stains on it. We were thoroughly disgusted. On the second night our keycard had been deactivated and I was informed by the receptionist that this was because "normally people only stay here one night." Well, while I can understand people's haste to get out of there, we were booked for two nights. How difficult is it to keep track of their rooms? While I was waiting to get the card activated I heard her blaming booking.com and other vendors for the wrong bookings and prices quoted to the guests in front of me in the queue. Personal responsibility doesn't exist with Days Inn staff then. We didn't let it spoil our trip because we were hardly there, but they were so shocking I would say whatever you do don't use them.
Great location for sightseeing Private access road to other side of motorway Reasonable choice of dining next door and reduced vouchers to purchase food
Noodle bar next door closes too early at 8pm Car parking bays too narrow
Very convenient location for our journey north. Was basic but clean and comfortable. Could do with a face lift as very old decor/furnishings, but we slept well and that's all that matters.
Room very hot and window barely opened.
Nothing apart from a very nice receptionist.
The tv screen was patchy. The toilet floor had collapsed! Smelly toilet. Room 9 The mattress was hard and lumpy. Decor very tired. Noisy fan. Stuffy room.
Relaxed atmosphere and able to take small dog
Easy access off motorway
Old dirty smelly room. Berry tatty
