Dating back to the 16th century, Tudor House Hotel is on the edge of historic Tewkesbury, overlooking the Avon River. The magnificent building has a real ale bar and traditional restaurant.

Location and you know what to expect which is all fine.
WiFi was poor and had parental locks on!
Nice friendly staff
Can't name anything I liked form this hotel
Filthy shower/bath, quite alot of hair of previous costumers. Lots of stains on thre tiles in the bathroom, showerhead is not working properly and water stays at same temperature whether on hot or cold. No breakfast in the room available - one can buy a voucher so that a cheaper (gross) breakfast can be purchased. In took us an hour and a half to actually get to the hotel, very hard to find and we kept driving around in circels (although our gps is very up-to-date) Certainly do not recommend to stay here.
Nice big room. Easy to get to location.
Slight road noise due to window not shutting properly.
Ease of checking in. Facilities we needed were nearby. As we only needed to sleep in the room for 4 hours, it was enough to pay.
Nothing - it suited our purpose perfectly
Just too relax,,
Not expensive. Pretty good location.
Bathroom facilities: no hot water in shower, sink taps require strong handling.
staff very pleasant
shabby and tired facilities, thought twice before using the shower! A noisy service area, and poor sound proofing inside the building
friendly staff at recept, shops and restaurants nearby.
there's no lift so we had to lug our bags up the stairs. The walls are thin and we can hear our neighbors at night. There's no air conditioning too but that's not much of a problem in October.
The variety of food in the food hall is very poor. After a days work the last thing you need to eat is McDonald's
conveniently near motorway very good services on site free to come and go privacy and key card system value for money restful stay
rooms little outdated
Clean, comfortable room with all we needed.
Location was conveniant for venue I was visiting. Staff welcoming.WiFi.Useful if you need to be in the area or need to break your journey.
Accommodation very tired. Seemed clean enjoy enough but not cared for.Towels thin and hard.Bathroom floor had large dip in it and sink taps difficult to operate. Television faulty.Needs complete facelift. Have used this hotel over 3/4 years and nothing spent on it.
Very clean & friendly staff. Free wifi.
Location and staff and bed was okay.
Could be a better standard of aroma in building and room.
After asking for a twin, in the presence of management was told it was unavailable due to the high number of dog owners staying that weekend which to my dismay im sure i saw bouding around an enclosure at the three counties show ground. i hope the dogs slept well....
The room had the most uncomfortable pillows I have ever slept on. Whilst they were obviously a high quality feather pillow there was just no support at all.
The bed and sofa were very comfy
The macdonalds next door was the worst ive ever had The polish woman took forever to check people in
location and price for tewkesbury . food hall was ok .
the two parking fine tickets from cp parking . even though i was staying at DAYS INN . hopefully now sorted out by manager at days inn .
The location was convenient. Seemed clean enough - though see my negative comments.
The place is in urgent need of updating - the bathroom was so out-dated. Really old & mis-matched tiles gave the impression of grubbiness throughout. The bed linen was also tired & the beds weren't made well - with sheets not reaching the bottom of the bed. Sad to see UHT pots of milk too, when there is a long life product called "Tastes like fresh milk" available...that does what it says on the tin! Receptionist not overly friendly, but that could have been a language or cultural issue.
Easy on line booking Helpful receptionist Competitive price
Wont be long before the room needs refurbishment
Parking was perfect.
We were told on arrival that we could not pay cash unless we had ID (which we don't carry, unless abroad). Had we not been able to pay by card, we'd have been forced to sleep in the car!!!. We were not at all aware when booking that cash payment could only be done if ID was supplied. The Family beds were NOT SET UP, the bedding was not even supplied in the room. After arriving early hours of the morning, we had to go down to reception to ask for the bedding. Room was POORLY supplied with coffee and with toilet rolls.
good location and courteous and helpful staff
we stayed in room 7 ground floor. Bath room floor is old, dirty and uneven with a risk of falls, particularly for elderly people. Shower tap is very stiff and water is very hot even on the minimum. we couldn't have a bath.
Friendly and helpful staff on reception. Comfortable bed and big duvet. I was surprised that it was so quiet considering it was on the Services of the motorway. Vouchers gave a discount for food in the service station. Plenty of hot water and towels.
The bathroom was 'tired' with a chipped bath and a 'not-too-fresh' smell, although it had obviously been cleaned. I'm not a lover of motorway fast food, but it was OK for an overnight stay.
Location was good for us especially with the back access road to Upton on Severn. 24 hour Costa in the services
Room was very hot and a little tired.
