Bed uncomfortable. Room dated. Room filthy. Noisy room
Ideal place for a stopover on route to London easy to find being on the motorway ,Bedding lovely and clean
Terrible bed no better than a camp bed
Friendly helpful staff
Dated and tired decor
The room was cold and the small heater in the room just wasn't powerful enough.
the room was very clean
there was no phone in the room
Room was not very clean, bed had a big dip in the middle & was not at all comfy. When we got there nobody could find out which room we were in & then the receptionist said that they had decided we were a no show so had let all the rooms. All night the light outside the room kept coming on when staff were going to make drinks in the room next to ours (& they were not at all quiet about doing it) One of the towels were dirty & there was no spoon to make a drink - we had to stir it with my toothbrush.
Difficult to locate
I like this hotel cos its quiet and clean its only good rates if you don't book threw hotel its self
There was a family above us and the kids were loud I'm disabled didn't think there was enough room in bathroom
Staff went out of their way to be helpful
Ground floor location with window onto shop storage/ trolley area at the back felt a tiny bit unsafe at night as single parent with young family.
location and cost of hotel, takeway food next door
noise from garage area
Room not too bad
We stayed for one night as had travelled a long way and still had a lot further to go. Went to sleep pretty early but were disturbed just after midnight by an 'altercation' right outside our door (we were by the stairs) a 'drunken' woman had gained access to the hotel and was having a 'dispute' with her ex- he shut himself in his room (she was not a guest) so she started shouting, swearing and thumping his door. Eventually the police turned up and after a lengthy discussion (again, right outside our door) she was arrested and taken away. Few minutes later a piece of paper was shove under our door...a note of apology from the hotel you might think...no, our confirmation of payment that they hadn't given us earlier! On leaving at 7am we noticed that the 'ex's' door had a 'do not disturb' sign on! I have e-mailed the hotel with my concerns and while I know they cannot be held responsible for the woman's actions they have a responsibility to the safety of their paying guests...she could have been anyone and armed with more than just the stiletto shoe she was whacking his door with. There is a buzzer on the outside door of the hotel but she was obviously not 'challenged' on her way in.
I arrived on the day to a allocated room when i got to the room the bed's had not been made the bathroom had mold on the walls and the window catch was broken and cardboard had been placed in the window frame to stop the draft i went to reception and a mother room was allocated die of shock the bed was made but the window catch was not broken but the was some mold on the walls and the carpets were a disgrace and was undermanned and the sign at reception read not hear between 22.00 and 23 00
Lights went out in the bathroom and I reported it and didn't get fixed I had to bath in the dark. The reception was closed when I checked out and the cleaner lady promised that I'll get a call from someone but to date I still hvnt received that call.
total lighting failure for 3 mornings running, unable to shower or shave due to lighting failure, & I think staff were aware of the problem, but did nothing to solve the problem
Convenient for a desperate need of sleep stop as location very near motorway.
Far too near the motorway petrol station. Hotel just next to bus and trucks car park. I could not sleep!!
Really impressed with how comfortable the bed and pillows were
Price was good
Noisy due to it being on motor way .
The convenience to business meeting I had to attend
Lack of parking outside hotel. It was a bit of a hike with bags etc!!
Timber floors above noisy.
Being charged twice for my stay and getting no resolution to it. Advise pay by cash.
It was convenient for where we were traveling to.
The mattress had seen better days. Other companies have upgraded their mattresses which make a great difference.
- free park (parking gratuit) - free wifi ok
- really noisy because it's a service area on a motorway (vraiment bruyant avec l'autoroute). It was the only available bedroom on this region. (c'était la seule chambre disponible dans la région. - bed not confortable for children 7 and 11 years. Worned out sofa bed (canapé lit usé et pas confortable pour les enfants de 7 et 11 ans) - no breakfast
Super journey breaker on way south and back.
Mattress was a bit soft. No bar.
The humming noise sounded like an air conditioning unit, out side our bed room window all night and we had the window closed
