Convenient for a desperate need of sleep stop as location very near motorway.
Far too near the motorway petrol station. Hotel just next to bus and trucks car park. I could not sleep!!
Really impressed with how comfortable the bed and pillows were
Price was good
Noisy due to it being on motor way .
The convenience to business meeting I had to attend
Lack of parking outside hotel. It was a bit of a hike with bags etc!!
Timber floors above noisy.
It was convenient for where we were traveling to.
The mattress had seen better days. Other companies have upgraded their mattresses which make a great difference.
Super journey breaker on way south and back.
Mattress was a bit soft. No bar.
Cheap and cheerful, Room 14 has comfy beds!!!
Room 17 has thee worst beds and the TV doesn't work!!!!!
When the receptionist was there, she was very friendly
Reception wasn't manned very often and I was next to the fire door in the corridor so I was woken by people passing and the door banging constantly
Easy access to Motorway. Free parking. Good but noisy shower. Large room
Very dirty carpets. Loud fans running all night outside belonging to the services. Toilet floor all bubbled up from water damage. Beds very lumpy.. old springs pushing in places (well used)
No remote control for tv in room, no soap in the dispensers, bathroom not cleaned properly, not a full range of tea/coffee options not restock after previous guests, nobody available when you needed help or to hand keys in.
Not really, may be its location next to services.
Carpets Beds Bath
Easy access to motor way
Emptyness and coldness
The toilet lock was broken.
Location was near where we wanted to be.
Clearly this Days Inn is in need of refurbishing. The mildew is a problem. It seems your senior managers don't aim for good customer care. I hope you will invest in improvements.
In services area. Clean and tidy.
Bed, shower, TV.
If coming north on the M1 then access is off the service road. V difficult to access and indeed no entry signs set to confuse. Parking limited outside hotel and threats of fines for parking otherwise not helpful. Directions required on website.and clear signs at the services..
Mattress was very uncomfortable and the room was too hot, it was cooler outside than in. Coming on the north bound carriageway signage to the hotel was awful
Spacious room, and quiet if you faced away from the motorway. Reasonably priced compared to everything else in the vicinity.
Basically it is what it is, a very old somewhat tired ex Travelodge desperately in need of basic refurbishment. No aircon so room was very hot.
Exellent location, very comfortable bed, clean linens and towels, good food/shop facilities nearby
Decor a bit dated, had to borrow a fan - would have been nice if there was one already in room in summertime (as window only restricted to partial opening)
Wanted twin beds but there were none so one family member had to sleep on the floor
Very helpful staff. A good spot to break a journey.
Part of the floor in the bathroom in our room was sinking.
Friendly greeting, ( apart from negative comment noted!) helpful staff when more towels requested good clean room.
People from coach park sitting on steps outside entrance having their lunch. Mentioned to staff but they chose to ignore made getting in with cases difficult got at glared when asked them to move not hotels fault but a word from staff would have been nice.
Location for a pit stop overnight and straight back on the M1 in the morning.
I had a room at the front of the building so consequently very noisy and had to have the window open as too hot.
Plenty of hot water and comfy beds
Little bit too much traffic noise but had to have window open as it was so hot!
