The hotel was well presented, clean, nice bar, the food in the restaurant was very enjoyable and reasonably price for what it was. All in all a very good standard of hotel. I have to say that the biggest let down to the re was the reception staff especially the female members of reception . They were unwelcoming and made me feel like I was invisable . They ignored you when you were waiting to be seen to and did not give any indication that they were ready to deal with you. On the occasion that I went to settle my bill the receptionist took a phone call half way through my transaction, she left me hanging not knowing if she had finished with me or not, she made no attempt at eye contact and I waited for a full 5 minutes (like an idiot) until I assumed that she was finished with me . In my oppinion she was very ignorant and rude, for this reason I will not be returning to the hotel again as I was made to feel very under valued as a paying customer.

Ten reasons for not To book in the re hotel: 1. The room service is too bad. 2. The wifi don't work and you have to put the username and password every time because its keep changing every day. 3. I stuck in the elevator for 45 min. 4. Rooms are too small for two people. 5. There is no safe to put your important items in. 6. The food is too expensive I mean the breakfast £9.58 and the dinner was £25 and to get a black coffee you have to pay £2.40. 7. The staff are very rude. They don't care about your needs they care about how to get money out of your pocket. 8. You have to change room's card key usually every day because they are rubbish. 9. There are no CCTV camcorder in corridors and that is poor security for the resident. 10. This hotel is a trap do not book in this hotel. The hotel used to call Days hotel and I was perfect until the RE hotel takes over and they ruined every bit of it.

Rooms very clean and comfortable. We asked for and got a room at the back of the hotel so was fairly quiet as well. Good availability of toiletries, robes and slippers in the room. A superior 3 star.

The room was a very good size and the location was quiet, the bed was comfortable. I have stayed at many hotels in London and around the world but I can truthfully say that I had the best night's sleep at the RE that I have ever had at any hotel anywhere! Although it was relatively convenient for where I was going that evening, there were very few facilities close by, and it was a good walking distance or bus ride to shops, cafes etc.

This hotel really has now reached an excellent standard and provides excellent value for money. Top quality rooms and good facilities. Easy to reach the city for business without paying over the top prices but still getting a high standard hotel. I have been using this hotel since it opened (as the Days Hotel) and although there have been problems with the reception staff in the past it has now achieved a high standard.

The room was absolutely clean and quite cosy especially compared to the English standard. Bus station is a few steps from the hotel and there are night buses too which is really convenient. The subway station (central line) is about 10 minute walk, so it takes about 30 min to get to the city centre. We had a great time, I would recommend the hotel to other travellers too. The staff was not really freindly.

Our room was really lovely. Comfortable, luxury, very inviting. Loved the toiletries in the bathroom. Able to leave our luggage in the store room both before and shortly after our stay. Nothing too much trouble. Would recommend. The hotel is a little out of town for central London, buses take a while through the traffic.

Location is good, friendly staff. Expensive compared to the offered rooms. Small rooms and beds not comfortable at all. I would recommend it if the price goes down to less than $100 a night.

Convenient location - on site car parking and good value I wanted to book again for six people at the RE Shoreditch on 10/11 August - but was told that each room would be £500 !!!!!! per night I am astonished that previous guests are not offered a reduction for their business earlier in the year

Hotel was modern clean, facilities and location (for my visit) were good. The windows of the hotel are not doubled glazed and as the room I was in faced onto the main street (Hackney Road) there was a lot of noise through the night, even the beeping of the pelican crossing just outside could be herd quite clearly and became very annoying. The sink in the bathroom leaked when filled.

The friendly and efficient staff. They were helpful in the morning when we wanted to leave our luggage (we were going to a wedding). When they knew we might be late they made sure we had a quiet room. The room was well-appointed and particularly tastefully decorated.

Good location in an interesting part of Shoreditch. Price was reasonable as well. It's not a 4-star hotel. It's 3-stars with a cosmetic upgrade. It's really just a Days Inn. The internet service was unreliable and didn't work well and there were not power outlets near the beds either.

Good location, bus stop right outside to Oxford Street. Hotel was nice and bright. Thought the rooms were little on the small size, and the twin beds were a little too close together (no room to move them apart). When it said 'flat screen tv' I thought it would be a wide screen fancy tv but it wasn'T.

We thought the staff were excellent-extremely courteous and helpful. The room was luxurious and clean and the extras such as toiletries and coffee were excellent-fairtrade and natural. Our children were made to feel as welcome as we were which is vital. Well done re Shoreditch! We are already planning our next stay with you!

“The friendliness of the hotel staff was exceptional. The rooms were a good size. We did not have time to eat in the restaurant this time but we have before and it was very good. The bar had a nice friendly atmosphere and was always very busy. We have stayed here a couple of times and will do so again as it is very close to St Marys, University of London where our daughter is a student.” Elizabeth, Newtownabbey |
