General layout and look

Good sized, well equipped rooms. Everything worked and was well maintained. Very good value for money

Location. It is out on a limb and there are no tube stations nearby although there are buses. However, it is quite a hike to get to Central London and mainline stations

Clean comfortable rooms

The lift was a tight fit and certainly not capable of fitting in 8 people! The showers were also quite narrow

Good access to bus service as it was just outside the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful, especially Shajid and Manoosh.

Poor or non existent wi-fi connection in your room. Needed to go to the lounge area for connection. Flat screen TV was too small. When I booked the room for 2 (me and my wife), I did not expect we would get 2 single beds pushed together. We slept apart for 8 days.

Rooms are large for London´s average, everything is new and the price is fair for what you get in return.

Do not be fooled by the title re Shoreditch, the hotel is not at this location being actually situated at Haggerston. However, there are bus lines (the bus stop is in front of the hotel) that will easily get you there or to Liverpool Street Station where you can go virtually anywhere in London.

A taxi was ordered for us by reception, but it never arrived - we had to walk and flag one down on the way

Very helpful and efficient staff and very clean.

No room service for breakfast, not even toast! Plus radio didn't come through on tv screen.

0n site parking a bit expensive at £20 per night. Pizzas a little bland.

Friendly and efficient staff, excellent standard of cleanliness in hotel, comfortable beds. Our third stay in this hotel and we will be back again when we next visit London.

Everything worked, staff friendly and informative, room was comfortable and clean.

Nothing much within the immediate vicinity. Door did not have seals, which meant it let in quite a lot of light and occasional noise from the corridor.

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel. It is very clean, very welcoming, they have excellent reception staff, everyone is friendly and helpful. Room service is good in that it lasts until 4am (a lot of hotels I stay in it ends at 10pm). I asked for a quiet room this time as my hotel was on the road last time and I got a room designated as 'work space'. It was perfect. I was initially put off booking this hotel, not really sure why, but will be a regular from here on. I really can't fault the service. My trip this time was a little strange as I was in town to launch a book, I came down early and stayed 4 nights on my own - my children then came down with their Grandparents - they had 2 adjoining rooms both with twin beds and were very comfy. I recommend this hotel for business and family therefore. The breakfast was fab too.

Nice clean hotel with helpful friendly staff. Happy hour was a bonus! We walked to Victoria park and had breakfast at the Café in the park which was lovely. We then carried on walking along the canal and ended up at the Olympic stadium and the Westfield shopping centre if Stratford. When they finish converting the Olympic park grounds into a public park it will be fantastic.

Excellent bus service outside the door which will take you anywhere in minutes & only short stroll to Bethnal Green tube station. Nice bar food, very clean & convenience stores including Tesco across the road.

The hotel has a fairly good location. It was 10-15 minutes walking from the 2 tube stations but we found better to use buses since they link you directly to main central regions and the bus stop is in front of the hotel. So by bus it was 30-40 minutes from Soho and 20 minutes from City. It was a quite new hotel and we liked the room.

The Wifi is almost not working. The first night we could not connect to Wifi and when we reported that to the reception they changed our room to be closer to a Wifi router. However even that did not help and moreover we did not even have access to the internet by cable. 95% of the times we tried to connect to the Wifi we were unable. But since we did not want to change room every day we didn't say that again to the reception. The cleaning was insufficient. We stayed 5 nights (4 nights in the 2nd room) and the sheets were not changed. They were also not refilling all the times the products that were finishing like shampoo, shower gel etc. The value seemed nice at first but at the end with the aforementioned issues I believe it was overpriced. We also did not like that the whole amount for the room was charged to our credit card before we arrived at the hotel (some days before). At least the charging should be done when you arrive at the hotel or after the 1rst night if you do not show up.

Room was a tiny bit noisy due to interconnecting door to neighbouring room. Breakfast, as with many hotels, way too expensive. So we ate at neighbouring cafe. Would not rule out using hotel again, but would depend on rate. No sound on SKY SORTS NEWS on my room TV, though hardly a major issue

Excellent stuff. Great room but nothing exciting. Bar worked till late.

Water was very hard in the shower. Hair felt like a straw after taking a bath or showering. WiFi signal was very poor probably due to a location of our room on the very corner of the building (3rd floor). Not the best location, neighborhood was kind rough.
