A 10-minute walk from Shoreditch Underground Station, and one mile from Liverpool Street, The Shoreditch Inn features budget soundproof rooms, 24-hour front desk, and air conditioning.
Score from 409 reviews Very good
conveniently close for the venue of our daughter's marriage
mattresses not hard enough
Good for bus routes, Barclays bikes on the doorstep. Close to Broadway market, regents canal, Victoria park and Columbia road market Very clean
Not convenient for west end london
Happy hour at bar very good value
Standard of spoken English at reception poor
Employ more matured attendants at the desk
Young ladies at the desk are sometimes harsh on customers
I like the overall place... The staff all friendly and very helpful and good place to be.
The bed....the mattress is of poor quality and badly needs replaced its to soft.Needs to be medium firm.I didn't have much sleep for my 3 nights that i stayed.
Calm, clean, spacious
Location and style of room.
Received unrequested wake up calls both nights we stayed interrupting our night's sleep. Told it was due to a system fault. When we complained it was handled really badly. Very poor customer service.
Place was fine, not anything more than a Premier Inn really.
During the first night, at 3am an alarm was going off in the bathroom, which I could not stop. Having rang the front desk, they just said "Press the Button" - I tried finding a button but without success. Eventually, it stopped after 2 hours upon flushing the Loo ?? Staff on check out just said "Oh yeah, we know that happens"
Shockingly bad customer service... Almost ruined my weekend in London...
Staff excellent, late bar and food available. Recently renovated so all new.
lumpy bed, bedding could have smelt fresher.
Nice room, good size.
Easy acess to London
fire alarms going off early numerous times and no fire evacuation directions given by staff and guests then being accused of causing the fire alarms to go off
The cost of the breakfast is extortionate.
Room well appointed and comfortable. Staff very professional and went the extra mile.
Open plan restaurant
To use the internet, you had to 'like' the hotel on facebook - this is ridiculous! Especially following a bad welcome at the hotel. 'Like' was not the word we would have used!
In the middle of the night the fire alarm went of 6 times, staff wasn't at all capable of handling the situation in a good way and has not offered any compensation so far for a night of lost sleep and uncertainty of what was going on... Pretty bad and unsettling experience
Good location hotel is clean comfortable and a pleasant place to stay generally
Rooms service is brutally expensive. On this stay the fire alarm went off over 6 times during the night with barley any explanation as to what had happened even when I came to check out
HOTEL ROOM VERY COMFORTABLE AND VERY MODERN. EXCELLENT STANDARD OF CLEANLINESS. I WILL CERTAINLY BOOK THERE AGAIN.
Good value for money. Decent room / facilities.
Staff mostly quite rude, not smiling, thinking too much of themselves - as if it is a guest who is bugging them rather than their job to provide service to the guest. I am a doctor and I never behave like that with my patients, whereas here they seem to think they're airport security or something. Checkin was 14:00 sharp - I came at 12:59, asked if I could chekin earlier - no, 14:00 only. Area - Hackney... crappy. Quite good connections though.
Great value for a well organised, clean and comfortable hotel. It's not central but it is close to the tube and buses that run straight into the west end. Very nicely appointed bedroom and en suite...much better than the central London hotels that are simply converted flats.
The area around the hotel is not the best, but if you use the hotel simply to sleep and eat, it serves it purpose very well.
Excellent value for money - good for an overnight stay between meetings
Price - Excellent Parking - Excellent Location - Very Good Amenities - Good
Staff - Very Poor
I had to 'like' the hotel in order to obtain full internet access which forces a positive response out of the need to have the service. I prefer to have a top sheet - it got too hot under the donna. The Hells Angel's convention was unsettling especially having 15 of them drinking and smoking directly outside the entrance. I would certainly not use this hotel to meet anyone important on this basis.
price. Generally OK
Not particularly comfortable, and my room was a bit noisy.
