The Hotel looked fresh, modern & clean, and the rooms were very good. We paid for three full English Breakfasts, but this was not available on the morning we left (only a one day stay) - so £7.95 for a modest continental was disappointing, and will make us cautious if using Days again in the future. Access to the Hotel car park coming from town (Pentagon Island) was not the best, having to drive along Frank Whittle Way and turn around at the Island, and travel all the way back up to the car park entrance.

It took 45 minutes to locate hotel, it was an absolute nightmare to find. I was advised that customers Sat Nav's were causing the problem, although I found the Cricket Club next door straight away on Sat Nav? The room was supposed to be non smoking but it stank of cigarettes and we found items from the previous occupants under one of the beds. Would we stay there again, no.

The hotel was convenient for our purposes offering the facilities we required . it was quiet and the location was good for central derby and the surrounding area with plenty of free car parking . This is the third days inn we have stayed in in the last 4 weeks and the standard of maintainance and servicing was less than we have come to expect .whilst all the facilities were there and the room had been cleaned things seemed a little tired ,for example the grouting in the shower was starting to go black in places and there were significant stains on the carpet in the main room ,in addition the tea/coffee supplies had not been adequately replenished by the service staff . however the reception staff were only too pleased to supply tea ,sugar and milk when we requested it .we would still recomend days inn on the assumption that these problems are not in our experience "the norm"

Location and balance of value for cost If staying for a few days would probably eat out in evenings as menu was functional (I.E. ok for one night)

The staff were very helpful and the rooms were immaculately clean. The breakfast was very nice and was regularly filled and inspected. Very nice hotel. The price was expensive compared to other budget hotels in the area , it was only availability that made me choose this hotel or I would have used a cheaper alternative.

The staff were friendly. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. The room was small, very basic and the tea & coffee making facilities were shabby. I stayed for two nights. The lights went off every few minutes and I was working from the room at night. I got to my room on the 3rd floor after my first nights stay to find my card had been deactivated and had to go reception to re-activate it. For the price of the room it was abit disappointing. There wasn't enough parking either and if you dont know where your going you will it ishard to find this hotel.
