Located directly off junction 13 of the M74, Days Inn Abington has free Wi-Fi, free parking and spacious rooms. It is in the Upper Clyde Valley of the Southern Uplands, within easy reach of Glasgow and Edinburgh. All rooms have private bathrooms and tea/coffee making facilities, a free newspaper and remote-control TV. Most have views of the beautiful countryside. Reception is open 24 hours a day. Convenient location for a stop over on the way further north into Scotland More expensive than the stop over we had to make at a Premier Inn which we paid £29 for. Very pleased however that DaysInn provide free wi-fi.

I have used the Days Inn Abington previously for business related over night stops. On this occasion I was returning from a visit to Warwickshire and need to make a break in the journey due to fatigue. I used this location as I was very pleased with my previous business stays. The hotel is run by friendly staff, is basic, functional and very clean. I do wish they would research the type of mattresses they use.

Staff friendlyness and care Sad to see that you now charge for a dog when staying with you, all that is provided by you is the room and a floor already paid for when I am staying. I could see the point of the charge if more than 1 dog is staying but 1 small dog is not exactly a big demand on the facilities already paid for.

The rooms were spacious and airy. Plenty of refreshments if wanted, bathroom clean and fuctional [clean toilet !] The staff were extremely helpful in all aspects. I could take my dog into the room at a reasonable charge. It was very much just accommodation, I was surprised as the competition eg holiday inn express does offer more than a room at a similar or less expensive incl continental breakfast.

It was convenient, easy to locate. Decor attractive in room. The room reeked of cigarette smoke and this was quite unpleasant. Dislike having breakfast in the service station. (I do realise I could have had a continental breakfast in the room) No lamp by the second bed, nor a bedside table. Had to drag over a small table.

The clerk assisting at reception could not have been more helpful in finding a quite room, away from the noise of the motorway, for us. After the b&b we stayed in the previous night, the room seemed spacious and was comfortable.

great location and facilities its just a shame that I had so many flea bites when i got up the following morning, when animals are allowed to stay in your hotels prehaps a deep clean would be a good idea. It is a great shame because the hotel was perfect in all other aspects. please please get rid of the fleas from room 108. kind regards sean jones The fleas in room 108
