Accomodation was clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and attentive. Card provided for entrance to our hotel room did not work well with the sensor. We wasted between 10 and 15 minutes each time we wanted to enter our room. |

location the mattress in the room was old and uncomfortable, with broken springs, protruding. Room 413 needs a new mattress - try mattresses at Melia White House London if you want to know what a comfortable mattress in a hotel is. |

The staff were helpful and friendly. In general the hotel is clean and the relation between price and quality is fair though more attention could be given to removing stains on the carpets in the hallway and brown marks on the grouting in the showers. We stayed for 2 nights in rooms on the 3rd floor. After the first night we asked to change room because the mattress was really bad because its springs were broken. The mattress on the second night was better. It seems the hotel was already aware of the problem because the receptionist told us that they had had complaints about mattresses on the 4th floor. I would have thought that having decent mattresses would be a priority for the hotel. |

Room was spacious and relatively comfortable. No bath in the bedroom, no dvd player or ipod dock so entertainment was limited. The choice of food available on room service was extremely limited so I had to bring a pizza in from outside. For the location and target market I was surprised there were absolutely no facilities or even an agreement to use the gym next door that I could see from my room. Also there was building work going on right outside the room which was noisy late at night and early in the morning. |

The room was large and clean. The restaurant and lounge were very pleasant. The staff were helpful. It was in a good location and we were able to walk wherever we wanted to go during our stay. We like the tea and coffee making facilities in the room (although more than two teabags would have been helpful!) The tiling in the shower cubicle was a bit tired. The key card did not seem to work well and we spent several minutes trying to get into our room each time. The milk at breakfast was luke-warm where it had been standing since 7.00 and was very unpleasant on my cereal and my husband said the bacon was very chewy also where it had obviously been standing. The cost of parking was extremely high. Maybe the Ramada could come to some arrangement with the Mailbox Centre to get a reduction. |

The location of the hotel was great, close to bars and restaurants with lovely view of canal. Short walk to train station and shops. Staff very friendly and helpful, even those under stress (see below). We were offered 2 for the price of 1 on our breakfasts when we first arrived. This was a good offer, so we took it up. However, the breakfast area was quite small and did not seem to be able to cope with the amount of people eating there. Staff were running around trying to keep customers happy. The queue for hot breakfasts was the length of the room and blocking the kitchen entrance. |
