Location, smart room.
A little noisy
Room size was good and the room was clean
The pillows were awful! Small, flat and hard! We were a couple in a double room yet there was only one bath towel and one hand towel.
Absolutely everything will certainly stay there always and recommended to all
Absolutely no reason not to like the hotel
The room was fab love hot shower the view was fab
The bed should have been good just like travelodge hotel please try to get nice beds when you sit it will not go down the beds you got when you sit down theygo right down the alarm started i got worried that was not nice
Close to centre of Birmingham and all restaurants etc which was what we wanted. The staff were extremely helpful especially the receptionist when asking for directions to find the hotel
Absolutely horrendous time trying to find it. There was no information about how to get to it anywhere, only got there with help from your recptionist and only noticed by chance the sign above the Starbucks Coffee shop????
Location and breakfast was good.
decor was dirty looking, skirting boards were walking with the dirt and teh stain that greets you as soon as the elevator opens was disgusting. The bed was shaky and not very stable. Very disappointed with the overall appearance of the bedrooms. also very stuffy.
Quality all in one
Great location, 15 mins walk to the Bullring and 7 mins along the canal to the Sea life Centre and indoor arena. Staff were lovely, reception very clean and modern. Rooms were clean.
Nothing to dislike but beyond the reception, things looked a little worn. Carpets were thinning in the corridors and it all just needed a "facelift".
Location and staff great.shame hotel is terrible run down we had no idea it was so bad.
shame hotel is terrible run down we had no idea it was so bad.i could write loads not enough space..Black masking tape on stained carpets. Stains all over rooms I could go on and on!
The bed is below average.
Staff Location Spacious room
Parking at £19 for 24 hours
The room is too hot at night
No on site parking you have to park in the mailbox car park this should be pointed out before you book and should also be pointed out that you should park in the car park before you go and find your hotel as you can not park at the back of the hotel. The room i felt was overpriced for what it was and the extratctors in the bathroom didn't work. There was mould in the shower and it is not a power shower. The fridge in the room didn't work at all. The picture of the hotel gives the impression of a pleasant view of the canal however the room i stayed in looked across a corregated roof and straight into someone's flat opposite. I didn't have the breakfast as at £13 a head that's ridiculously overpriced.
I liked the spaciousness and cleanliness of my room and had the fact that I wasn't kept awake by outside noise. It was altogether a very pleasant stay.
I would have liked to have wifi in my room.
it was a nice hotel and the location was perfect for me and my girlfriend due to eating at a restaurant in the mailbox, we only stayed here on the night but if your not from Birmingham its pretty much centre of location for anywhere in Birmingham, close to new street and close to the bullring
The location was exactly what we wanted
The hotel was out dated and wud never stay there again
Location excellent, very convenient
Hotel overall appeared dated and shabby, from the hallways to the bedrooms. Expected better given its location. Carpets well worn and wallpaper sad. The room size and facilities were good but our room faced the road which was extremely noisy not just with revellers but the wind was a real problem and this was a particularly warm evening in October. Did not stop for breakfast as this was distinctly overpriced . Only one large towel in a double room?
Big room great location Good price
Mattress was a little soft. My wife didn't sleep great, although I found it ok.
Location v good Good shower Staff helpful
Had to ask for additional pillows, no hairdryer in room , the whole place needs decorating lots of stains on carpets through the place! Really lets the Ramada chain down.
I didnt stay their if was a gift for my brother in laws 70th. He and my sister went to Caro Emerald. They loved the hotel and my sister was particualry impressed with the staff who bought her a hot chocolate after they had arrived back after the show. They loved the breakfast and there was plenty of good hot food. They would definitely stay there again
Getting their bill mixed up with another couple with the same name
Location Excellent and convenient position for NIA, shopping and eating. Room well prepared
A bit noisey at night with clobbers and delivery lorries Would have expected free wifi in the room
Location was brilliant & picture looked good
Room wasn't up to the usual standard of the ramada chain I've been to previously Has put me off visiting again Carpet filthy so were towels kettle did not work. Fire alarm went off but no one checked if everyone got out if rooms. Friend visiting from Scotland & first visit so was not impressed
Location is ideal. Staff friendly.
Standard double bed which is a bit stingy these days. Parking anywhere in Birmingham is expensive.
Brilliant location Friendly staff Starbucks on site
Terrible old lumpy pillow & when a replacement / extra pillow was requested was told the hotel didn't have any spare pillows???? Awoken early by really noisy plumbing in our bathroom whilst our neighbour used their shower.
very easy check in.. Friendly staff.. Room Perfect.
