Easy access for motorway and places we were visiting. The hotel corridor and room smell dirty. We had no soap in the shower dispenser which we reported. Fed-up of waiting we took one from the cleaning trolley and told a member of staff we had put it in our bathroom. It was still there when we got back. Unable to install ourselves. Tv screen too small. Very dark room without lights and a bit overpriced just for a bed for the night. There should be discounts for guests staying several nights.

My ."Executive" room was very basic with noise from trucks coming and going in the service station outside my window, was also very uncomfortable. And at £79 a night a little expensive considering this did not include breakfast! I wouldn't stay there again.

Noisy coach and passengers arriving outside our room at 1:30am waking us up!! The coach driver left it running for ages and the passengers didn't give a thought to residents who were already asleep - really annoying and spoilt the stay.

Its location in the m5 Gordano services makes it easy to find and excellent located for business travel. The staff was friendly and the rooms were of good standard. I really liked the fact that WiFi was free and that there was a ironing board in the room. I would definetly stay again. Whilst the location is excellent for business travel the same benefit has a down side as the services are quite noisy and lorries near by started to set off at 6am. It can be helped and the hotel would definetly not make a holiday resort.

It was clean and simple. I got what I expected. I needed somewhere to stay overnight halfway along my jounrey from Chester to Cornwall. The hotel was really difficult to find. It was dark and wet and I couldn't see any signs other than the Days Inn sign at the bottom of the main sign for the services, I came off at junction 19 and followed the sign for Days Inn services but could see neither the hotel or any sign directing to it. I parked at the services and walked aropund but still couldn't see any sign for the hotel. When I eventually spotted "hotel" painted on the road, I followed the arrow and found myself in a coach park. I am a 67 year old woman travelling alone and felt unsafe in this situation. I drove round again and almost found myself being directed back onto the motorway. I had to drive back to the coach park and spotted a small amount of light which turned out to be the hotel. Please note that the illuminated sign on the front of the hotel is completely obscured by trees and cannot be seen from the car park. I would not reommend this hotel to other sole travellers for this reason. I felt unsafe trying to find the hotel.

Convenient for my client's premises. Days Inn etc are generally reliable for providing adequate, clean, modern facilities with no trimmings which suits me. Proximity of Waitrose is handy I've previously had poor experiences here, but this visit was ok. Fan in bathroom stayed on for a very long time - annoying noise. Water was appearing on the floor under the heated towel rail - forgot to mention to staff.
