Staff not helpful on sorting hot water
The staff were incredibly helpful & polite. I am physically disabled and the room we had wasn't terrible comfortable for me so as soon as the staff were made aware, they moved us to a more suitable room immediately and with no fuss at all. They really made our stay so much more enjoyable. A credit to the company!
Purely due to my disability, the beds were a wee bit on the high side that was our only problem, but like I have said, the staff went out of there way to improve this situation.
The room was clean, spacious and the decor was pleasant. The bed wa very comfortable and the hotel was a quiet and peaceful place to rest on my journey. I was impressed by the complementary newspaper and filter coffee in a take out mug in the morning when I checked out.
My room was cold when I arrived. It took me a while to find that there was a small dial on the bottom of the radiator to turn in on. There was no remote in my room. Reception provided me with a replacement on request but then the TV reception was too poor to watch.
decent staff, lots of complimentary coffee etc, clean etc & oddly enough a lovely serene view in the morning, quiet, ventilation OK, good quality of most stuff in principle (not run down or crap looking)
in the end, it was a room for one, not two - bed cramped for a couple, while not being able to rely on shower damages value... in addition, shower in wall, not "directable" as i prefer, but that's a small thing
Peace and quiet, helpful staff, comfy bed.
Not easy to get to if traveling south. You need to back track on your self.
Stayed over night on the way to Newquay and so it was a good location for us. Bed was ok
Location and ease of booking
No available cooked breakfast
Had booked a family room because we wanted two beds but on arrival the other bed wasn't made up and the person on reception seemed reluctant to wither make up the bed or change the room, which he did eventually.
being located on the northbound section made it awkward to locate when travelling south but a kindly local told me about the illegal short cut which saved driving a long way to get off site
Very, clean, tidy, modern & staff very friendly & polite
Although there are no-smoking signs on the door, being an ex smoker I can smell cigarette smoke & as soon as I opened the door to the upstairs you could smell the smoke so I think this should be monitor this as people obviously ignoring the signs.
Ideal location for my work. Excellent service by staff.
Does what it says on the packet - extremely good basic hotel, very clean, staff helpful and friendly.
Super size room, able to smoke, soft bed, hot water 5* accommodation in my opinion
The room was clean, quiet, as we had a room not facing the services HGV park, staff were helpful.
Though we enjoyed the stay, we had booked about 6 weeks in advance, though there was no room allocated for us, the staff were good and accommodated us, as we are both in our 80s and required ground floor.
the convenience to the motorway, and the easy access from car to room.
nowhere to eat.
Smoke in the hallway near room which was on a non smoking fllor.
Good value, enjoyable stay. Good location. Helpful and friendly staff.
everything about ii from booking in to the time we left staff couldnt do enough for you ,cleanliness was amazing ,comfort ,
nothing to dislike
Quiet. Cost. For a motorway motel it is fair value.
Would have liked somewhere to get a meal and a drink in the evening.
Location was great and easy to find. Close to the service station for their facilities ie shops but tucked away so nice and quiet at night time
Cobwebs in room
Quiet, very relaxing. Not our first stay and will return. Just really like staying here. Plenty of parking space. Access to motorway and rural roads.
Nothing to 'not like' - unless you're a real 'picky' type and want to find things.
days inn very clean and comfortable.
michaelwood services very poor and dirty.food very poor.not a very appealing place at all.not very good for travelling south.
Friendly staff giving you all information you needed.
The sofa was marked was unsure if to sit on it
