Excellent,
Score from 138 reviews
“ The staff very extremely friendly and helpful. My room was clean and warm and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was very good. Good wifi and plenty of channels on the tv. This hotel does not have a restaurant. It is however located a short stroll from a motorway service area with shops and food outlets. There are several beautiful villages with decent restaurants within a radius of a couple of miles. ”

Free parking right at the door Fair distance to the restaurant facilities and the evening meal was poor due to being pre-cooked and kept hot. Breakfast was fine.

Fair price, pet and people friendly establishment where staff remember infrequent but regular visitors. Convenient for much of the south west and west midlands. Enjoy consistency in facilities and service, thank you. In addition at breakfast on departure day the staff at the services went the extra mile to look after us and we shall e-mail the services direct. That Welcome Break have 'upped their game' over the last couple of years helps us decide to return here and other branches. Best wishes and thanks for a good stay. Steve and Jane Jackson (and dogs). Family with young children were placed in the room directly above us and they ran around a lot although we were only in early on the arrival day. Hotel was very busy this holiday weekend so are just advising and not complaining as staff might have been limited in placing us all.

We were warmly welcomed. Our room was large and clean as was the bathroom with good white fluffy towels. Although the hotel was situated within a service area on the M5, there is a back road taking you to the A38 and the M5 could not be heard if the windows were closed. Our tea, coffee and sugar were not replaced for our second day.

Hotel itself was ok - passable. Directions very very poor - wasted an hour looking for the place because no mention was made of it being next to the service area. Not happy weith facilities at service area and long walk to get there. Will not be staying there again.

Spacious clean and good value with excellent facilities. Entry through back of Service Area was not signposted and suggested there was no way in. A resident assured us it was alright to pass through "No Entry" signs if we were staying at the Days Inn. Staff advised us that they were hoping to have a sign put up for visitors.

Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Free wi-fi excellent. A small fridge would be useful. I didn't like being got out of bed when the fire alarm went off due to an 'over sensitive detector' I suspect it was only over sensitive because someone was smoking near it !!

Ample parking....dog friendly....large room. I wasn't impressed with the large stain on the sofa....there wasn't any handsoap in the dispenser.....the directions to this Inn should be made clearer for we who do not know the highway systems/routes and roads, very confusing directions!

Cheap easy and convenient, just off the m5 junction, right next to the services. Loved Starbucks being so close. Great staff, fresh coffee, newspapers. Couldn't fault. Slightly hard to find, do not follow the post code on the website!

Really warm greeting from reception, and ease of everything. Loved the nice touch of a filter coffee machine in reception. Nothing - it was a good motorway stopover hotel - will use it agin.
