Clean and comfortable. Good for Donnington Park events
Didnt realise it was a service area on a 50 , so resturant limited
Very spacious and very well-lit
location, had to double back on the A50 and our Bed sagged on the middle.
The location was good, the room was clean and tidy, the staff very friendly.
We had an extra bed in the room, presumably a pull out sofa bed, this was incredibly uncomfortable, I was left with a bad back ache after sleeping on it.
free parking, cleanlinness staff's courtesy was absolutely excellent
bed too soft English breakfast unavailable
Nowhere to get a meal, take away menus provided but avoid the local kebab menu like the plague food was expensive and shocking!! No restaurant, staff not available to check out early had to wait. Bed like an ironing board.
Close to the shop.
I like every thing about it we had a really nice time thank you
there was nothing I did not like about it
Staff were very helpful
Seals on windows were poor and noise from motorway was worse than expected
Cleanliness of room, good facilities
Staff + Wi-Fi + Location
No on site restaurant for evening meal. Eat In closed at 1600hrs. Only food available is outside firms who deliver. Not good for Days Inn
The breakfast is a bit tasteless
Really friendly and helpful staff 24hour bar and reception was great Perfect location next to services with cashpoint and snacks and motorway Smoking room was a bonus
Smoking rooms do,understandably, smell of smoke.
Loved the 24 hour bar and the really friendly helpful staff!
Very helpful and sympathetic staff (Kaylie and Nick) and by jingo did they need to be.
The motel (more Unwelcome Break than Welcome Break service station) is situated slap-bang in the middle of possibly the most tortuous road system in the UK. It advertises a restaurant but this was closed when I arrived at 6.45pm. I had a muddy and rainy one mile walk to get dinner at the Dog and Duck (to avoid drinking and driving and making a nine mile round trip) in Shardlow. Otherwise it was a mostly junk-food send-out (£5 for delivery) or sandwiches from WH Smith. The cheerlessness of the place was exacerbated by finding the shower and hair gel squeezer was empty after I'd got in the shower.
The one staff member that I dealt with was friendly and helpful.
location is awful,in the middle of nowhere, and quiet confusing to get to the airport, booked an early morning wake up call and did not receive one, almost missed my flight. They advertise a bar but this is minimal as no draught beer and the bottle of beer that I got was not cold enough and tasted flat.Would not recommend this hotel and will not be staying again.
Friendly staff easy free parking and the Internet was good.next to gas station so 24hr facilities and store.
Not so much facilities and things to do. No gym. No room service.
No lift but staff Helpdesk with luggage excellent
The hotel had takeaway menus and numbers so we could eat when we got there as it was late and didn't no area to go looking
Couldn't access hotel from other side of road that's all really
Very comfy and spacious rooms
Only the directions Which make you think it's at the East Midlands airport
This hotel misrepresents itself as 3 miles from East midlands airport. That must be as the crow flies as by road it is nearer 10 miles and high taxi cost Negates any cost advantage over better hotels near airport.stay somewhere nice close to airport not on side of busy road.
As usual the staff were very welcoming and the rooms comfortable and all you need was their.
Have stayed many times but this time we had a very noisy couple above us that kept us awake for most of the night.never happened before ,a one off
