I was impressed with the receptionist on our arrival, the rooms were of a good standard. The experience of staying at the hotel was marred to a high degree as neither of our two rooms were serviced during our two night stay. This was because the member of staff went home early on New Years Eve rather than wait until noon when we vacated our rooms for the day. Wet towels left for changing were still on the floor upon our return. A shame because this was a good hotel and suited our needs but the lack of such a basic service detracted from our visit See above the cleaning staff let your hotel down badly the lack of a basic room service and wet towels did not impress

I found the hotel was very clean and comfy and the staff very helpful and willing to help you in anyway they can. I found this hotel hard to reach if you dont have transport, you need to drive or get a taxi as its of the motorway. I was told I can walk it and found myself trapped and climbing through a forest with a suit case and walking part of the motorway which I dont recommend! If you are using a taxi from location if you cross to the opposite side of the motorway via the path way which I found out after I struggled you will save £5 of your fare as you have to go up to come back down due to motorway so worth crossing to save that few pound.

The lady on the desk when I checked in was very helpful. I had trouble with the T.V. and she changed my room within minutes. She was always very pleasant (even first thing in the morning). I would reccommend this hotel to anyone.

The smoking rooms I would rate it as £10.00 per night too much. Around £35.00 per night would be a fair reflection of the facilities, location etc

Staff very friendly pleasant and efficient. And although a little off the beaten track on the motorway, the hotel and it's location had everything you needed right there I.E. shop, restaurant, petrol station etc. so making it a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Everything was fine but the only thing I did notice was that there didn't seem to be any aircon - I stayed in November so it wasn't something I needed to use but would imagine if staying there in summer months it could be a little stuffy and uncomfortable without that facility (as windows only open slightly and wouldn't allow much air in)

Day inn hotel are a brilliant chain of hotels for people staying in if too tired to drive or purely for a few hours but I was under the impression when I book this hotel that it was about 3 miles from the airport however it was a 20 minute drive away with not a lot of faciliteies or ammenities near by overall impression was dissapointment purely dwn to location and facilitys think on booking.com it should not say east midlands airport on it feel like I was misled Girl behind the desk was very easy on the eye and very polite

Staff very friendly and efficient. Rooms are a bit better standard than competing budget chains and tea/coffee trays a bit better stocked as well. The English Breakfast taken at the attached services, which the hotel sold a voucher for, was appalling. It was cheap at £4.99 but awful. Curled up food kept warm for ages ( in theory ) dried up beans, hard hash browns and then it was all cold! One rasher of bacon, two cheap sausages - wish I hadn't bothered.

Comfortable bed and a proper 3rd bed not a converted sofa. Easy to find. Free parking. Excellent value for money. Free wi-fi. Lack of a proper restaurant meaning we had to eat elsewhere. Corridors smelt a bit stale. Room was hot during the night and windows were running with condensation in the morning.

First time I stayed at this chain and was very impressed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Compared to other similar chains that are on roadside I feel meals & drinks were reasonable. Continental breakfast ok too. Little boy did notice cobwebs on lights, but I never did!

Great staff (includes the whole complex). Excecutive room fantastic, clean, comfortable and quality of fixtures/fittings far in excess of what I'm used to. Great working area, loads of space. Quiet and peaceful. Breakfast great value and can eat as much as you want (I had the continental). Such a friendly place and the only place I have stayed at in my years of contracting that feels most like home.
