Days Inn Hotel London South Mimms (Potters Bar)  

nothing - it is about the least appealing hotel I have stayed at

Receptionist answered phones whilst dealing with me The place had a stale odour the bedroom had broken window catches, the bed was lumpy and the room had a stale smell of socks, sweat and cigaretes the seals around the bath were lifting off and it also smelt stale though not dirty in an obvious way A dated and unmaintained place

The hotel staff were lovely! Which made our weekly stay at Days Inn Hotel more enjoyable. It was clean and comfy,with lots of places to eat within a 2 min walk..

The reception was very friendly. The location was good. Very accessible and near welcome break so good for food and so on.

The bathroom needed a little tlc.....few brown spots here and there. Lack of toiletries .

Could bring dog

The gentleman at reception was very polite and professional. The hotel was nice and warm. The room was clean and quite and there was a facility to moderate the temperature in the room.

Location and ease of booking over internet.

I was first given the key to Room 224; on entering the room the smell of stale tobacco was disgusting, and on utilising the bathroom I discovered the toilet pan was leaking - a point that I mentioned to the staff when I stayed some 3 years previously. However on mentioning the above to the Reception staff I was given the choice of two alternative rooms - one being on the ground floor; but it was pointed out to me that these are the smoking rooms!! I settled for the alternative room no. 227. This was of an acceptable standard.

good location for cockfosters tube station comfortable and reasonable price

Was just looking for inexpensive lodging, so very satisfied. Furniture somewhat shabby but for our needs all was satisfactory. Convenient location with nearby Starbucks and other shops.

Sofa in our room was worn out.

Perfect stay to attend venues in the city. Excellent staff, services not available at the hotel itself are available in the service station next door. Perfect stay!

Friendly & efficient welcome by reception staff also the lobby area is pleasantly furnished and welcoming with seating, papers and refreshment machines. Hallways & room all clean and uncluttered. Facilities in the room were adequate and worked perfectly well. Bath & shower were clean as were towels. Have stayed in a 5 star hotel where we had to send for clean towels before we had a shower!! For us the big bonus was we could take our Jack Russell and the room was very spacious for his bed etc. Breakfast is either a continental left outside your room or you can go across to the Eat Inn and have a cooked breakfast. All in all good, clean, comfortable, warm & inexpensive accommodation.

Location

Good basic accomodation for traveler needing to be in London suburbs but beds need to be changed as they werre old and of poor quality.

Tired and uncomfortable bed

Good location, good nearby facilities, pleasant staff and good basic accomodation

Badly stained bathroom ceiling and liquid soaps not refilled.
