Large and very comfortable bed. Friendly bar staff (reasonably priced for a hotel). Not very good at 'customer service'. A colleague had brought her husband and baby with them. When they asked very nicely if they could store a bottle of baby milk in the hotel's fridge they were told very abruptly no - there was no room. I find this hard to believe that a hotel could not fit a bottle of milk in their fridge! Although a budget hotel, I still think they need to reassess their attitude to customer service and going the extra mile.

Great staff, easy to book on-line, great bargain price for room, evening food was reasonable, well served, affordable, easy and quick check-in and check-out, no fuss, good roomy accommodation, great location for Wakefield and motorway system. Would have preferred a bath to a shower, the quality of the breakfast food wasn't as good as the evening meals (mediocre sausages, rather tasteless scrambled eggs - powdered?), even the bacon wasn't that nice. But it was weel cooked and hot - the staff did well enough with it but I felt they were working with slightly inferior ingredients.

There were 2 coach parties staying overnight which exceeded the capabilities of the restaurant. I had to wait one and half hours for a meal.

Very welcoming friendly staff, room was good size and clean, only minor issue was felt like 2 twin beds pushed together, was sometimes a little uncomfortable. Other than that it was a pleasant stay and will choose the hotel again and recommend it to other family and friends

Its handy location to the M1. Its good sized well marked Car Park. The complementary items which were available should they have been forgotten (although we didn't need any of them). The booklet which shows the locations of the Days Inns and Hotels indicate that free internet access is available in at least the public Areas. Internet access is available throughout the Hotel at a charge of £5 for each 24 hours. This charge is exhorbitant and is completely unnecessary at todays costs of broadband.
