Location , ease of check in / out Despite print out of confirmed booking, no record existed at hotel, we were lucky there was a room available. Unnecessary anxiety at check in and no explanation of how this could have happened.

Free Wi-Fi Overall cleanliness good Continental breakfast - croissants could do with being fresher and warm. Fruit was also not very fresh. Not very good for the £4.95 price tag. Could be better "meal deals" with the "Eat In" places adjacent - as their prices are somewhat inflated. No alcohol on sale - what's that about? Not even a bottle of wine! Booking details should make it clear that there is no direct access back onto the motorway if travelling to Warwick/Stratford. Having to keep going down to the next junction to turn around becomes rather tedious.

Ideal for my requirements ie. breaking a long journey. Hotel very clean and friendly staff. Although not hotels fault the stay was spoiled by the fact there was no power or water at 6.30am so had to forgo a shower and shave....not the best start to the day.

It was up to its usual standard; we have never had any cause to complain about either cleanliness or facilities. Staff are always helpful, and, apart from a couple who left at 4.15 A.M. apparently unaware that there were others in the hotel, the rooms are always amazingly quiet.

“We enjoyed a warm welcome from the very friendly staff ,which always adds to your stay. The building was wonderful, just the right mix of old and new ! The late afternoon meal of ,fish and chips was good but the ;"Full English Breakfast" really did it for me.The location was perfect and so atmospheric too;also near to so many places to visit.Sadly we were not able to stay more than one night but we do plan to arrange another visit to ,Old Mill Inn.” John, Stoke-on- |
