It was ok. The staff were very friendly & ready to help sort out issues. The room was also comfortable & spacious. Its proximity to the city centre made it very interesting as my hubby & I were able to do our shopping with ease

cheap price, cheap parking facilities on site toilet was not working at regular intervals, shower was absolutely freezing in the morning, nightclub either above or below (not sure which!) the hotel and music booming from 12 midnight until early morning and could not sleep due to it, rooms in need of update but clean enough. breakfast very basic, continental, consisted of sliced bread, croissants, butter/jam, juice and only coffee/tea available from machine. i suppose you only get what you pay for!!! check in time was not allowed to be any earlier or later than the 3pm and 11am times.

We stayed at the Sky Plaza as we needed the location, I have stayed at other hotels in the same location and find the Sky plaza beds much more comfortable. The sky plaza is very run down and is need of a good refurb and cleanse. Our room wasn't dirty but looked unclean as furniture, bathroom suite etc is so old and past it. I find the of £50 a bit expensive for the quality of the hotel.

The location was excellent very central. On site car parking was great, the room we had was quiet and the staff friendly. The price was amazing which included breakfast. The room was shabby, carpet was filthy and damp, it was a poor standard for a so called 'superior' room. The breakfast was awful, basic continental, frozen bread, dry criossant, coffee machine didn't work. Could be improved easily with some fruit, yoghurt and some fresh bread.

Location was useful. Bed was comfortable enough The Sky Plaza is run down and in serious need of a facelift. The biggest surprise was the inaccuracy of the bedroom photos displayed on the website. I was offered to move to another room as i complained about the Internet speed but when i checked the room it was even worse and the internet didnt work there either. Wireless connection worked (just) the speed was auful though, as if being on 1990's dial up!! Breakfast was also very basic, but enough there to at least have something It is just as well this place was discounted as i can't imagine ever having to pay more than £40 for what I got Only stay here if you dont mind roughing it!!

I was very pleased with my stay at sky plaza. It is ideally placed and comfortable My only criticism is that that decor is very tired and the paintwork especially on doors is very bad

This was my 2nd stay at Sky Plaza Leicester. I paid only £39 for a warm, clean and comfortable double room. The hotel staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome. Thank you.. I also liked it that I could park my car right in front of the hotel entrance on top of the car park. It was worth paying about £4 for 24 hours of parking. I looked at some of the reviews and cannot understand why some bad reviews have appeared. If I want a 5 star hotel then I would pay accordingly and book in a 5 star hotel and not pay only a small amount yet except a 5 star standard. I was more than happy with what I got. The gm told me that from next week they would also serve English Breakfast and their restaurant will also serve hot dinners. This hotel is for me, anytime, business or pleasure.

The Sky Plaza, was recommended to us, by friends. The location is ideal as you are right near the centre of the city, so the shops and bars are all close by. The hotel location is unusual in itself as it is based right at the top of a multi-storey, so the hotel room gave a fantastic view of the city. The hotel rooms were clean, but basic. The rooms were cleaned daily, and fresh towels were given if asked. The hotel offers continental breakfast, which we did not bother to have. The hotel receptionist staff did not appear very friendly or welcoming at first, but were helpful. The hotel rooms were clean and cosy, and the bathroom was in desperate need of updating. Our friends' bath looked like it had been repainted, and the paint work was coming off in strips. The hotel room walls were also very thin!. All in all, we would definitely return to the hotel.

I did not enjoy this time my stay over there. So next time I will to think again if I should book this hotel or not because of not being comfortable in our stay. The rooms we booked was not given side by side and the toiletries was not properly supplied. The heater in one of the room was rattling the full night which I could not sleep. After asking for any rooms closely also was refused.

It was cheap and pretty much in a centra location When arriving after checking in time the room was still not ready and then when we entered the room it was not acceptably clean. We were not allowed to change rooms although we were given a discount

Nothing really - we had a very budget/basic grotty room. We were approached by a "crack head Druggie" in the lift in reception without any assistance from the reception staff. Grotty almost seedy rooms. Needs a revamp and misleading adverts to say minutes from Highcross centre when in fact its a good 10 minute walk through a very seedy area of leicester centre. Very Disappointed.
