The hotel lobby and dining room were nice (marble floors), and the location was very good, right in the city centre, not too dificult to drive to. The parking wasnt all day, you had to pay every time you left the hotel. Also the room was outdated and not very clean, the bed had seen better days, the iron and ironing board were useless. Also the shower broke in our room and even when it did work it was a night mare getting the temperature right. I wont stay in this hotel again.

The cost of the room was very reasonable for the facilities of what we recieved during out stay. The rooms didnt seem to be soundproof as we were able to hear our neighbours very clearly shutting doors etc.... also having to pay a £50 cash deposit if paying by cash was a bit unreasonable as people dont tend to carry £50 in cash on them.

Hotel location is walking distance to the Leicester Bus Station and Leicester City Centre. Room was not clean. Stains on the ceiling, bedsheets and walls. Very basic accomodation. Had a very uncomfortable sleep and constantly itching through out the night. Hotel Reception may give you the impression of a fantastic hotel, but the Rooms are anything but.

The hotel was ideally situated for my purposes. The room I was allocated was not sound insulated, you could hear every thing that was going on next door. The hotel was noisy in that occupants did not know how to close doors quietly. The bar was closed. There was no restuarant available.

I've stayed during the week on a few occasions now, and so far it has been a pleasant experience. Staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean (and warm!) The breakfast is basic, but more than I would normally eat... The walls are thin, so If you do have a noisy neighbour then it could be a problem. But I have not experienced a problem on a week night so far. The location isn't in the best part of the city, but saying that it is very convenient for me as I require the bus station first thing in the morning...

Excellent location for that Weekend or One night stay....Very central for city shopping...Good Parking Rates. This was the second visit to the Sky Plaza and there will certainly be another if the price is the same. It's basically somewhere to put your head down for the night after a day/night in town complete with a continental breakfast. Thanks to the staff for having us !! A little run down but I can understand that reflect on the price being good for a short stay.

Ok. Location, not far from the city centre, close to bus station. Staff was friendly and service was good! Would not mind staying there again. My bed was not very comfy. Springs poked me all night. I asked for a extra duva to make it comfier. I got the blanket and was offered a complementary double room. I could hear people talking in the room next door, and everyone who passed my room. Not the best place to get sleep in the weekends, but sunday night was quiet. Breakfast is just toast and jam and croissants or cereal. Nothing fresh.

Friendly staff but hotel could do with a re vamp bit tatty around the edges. Bar not open so could not get a drink and it was a Saturday night! Breakfast very poor stale croissants. Even though close to town very noisy at night woken up by fights outside. Cheap but not very cheerful!

Needs re-decorating, unclean walls & bathroom needed some attention. Felt very uncomfortable whilst walking from reception to the room (was glad to lock the door). The walls were paper thin, so you could hear every word spoken from next door (both sides). Carpets very thread worn. The whole experience was intimidating and I checked out as soon as possible in the morning. I often travel and stay in hotels alone with business and under no circumstances would I recommend this hotel to anyone unless it is refurbished & sound proofed. Sorry, not a good experience.

It was close to where i needed to be The loud music playing from a wedding. It would have been good customer ethics to be notified that there was a wedding taking place the night I had booked to stay. To be honest, I would have looked for another hotel had I known because I wanted an early night & early rise morning.

The departure! This is a ghastly hotel on top of a multistory car park in a not very salubrious part of town opposite a noisy nightclub. In addition the walls were thin enough to hear every word the couple in the next room were saying. The entrance is dark and forbidding. Some of the staff were polite but others were not. Breakfast was very poor quality and served in a rooftop restaurant overlooking the dereliction of industrial Leicester. I booked two rooms; neither had a sprinkler or smoke detector and my room did not have a fire escape plan. This place should be condemned. Even for the low price I paid this was poor value for money.

The hotel is very dingy and requires a facelift! The room could’ve been cleaner and the lights brighter. I booked a double room, however, I am not convinced that it was a double bed. It caused extreme difficulty for me and my partner to sleep on without throwing each other off the bed! The check out time is 11am. For most hotels its 12pm, however, I wasn’t prepared to pay £10 extra for 1 more hour! Overall rating for this hotel is poor.

The hotel looks lovely when you walk in, but things quikcly change, bar doesnt have any drinks on draught even though this is advertised, high bottle prices. Pool table balls missing and cues all broken. No smoke alarms in the rooms. Plus club which is directly across the road, open till 4 am, music blaring and windows do not shield the noise, kept awake until 5. When I asked to speak to the manager, the receptionist told me that he would not be available until after I had checked out. All in all not good!!!
