I loved the fact that the staff was so friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, the rooms very comfortable, and quiet. What made it ideal as a place to stay is the fact that it is just around the corner from the station, wich made the rest of the city easely accesable, without being in the bustle of city live. Also counting for the hotel is the fact that there is a big shop right accross the road for when you are in need of anything. Quite a few places in the area to get a meal from, not to mention the hotel restaurant and bar. Really a nice, comfortable place to stay.

The bed was so comfortable. Parking not so good if you go out in car & come back late its diifcult that you might not get a space. Didnt like music going on so late in a venue behind hotel.

The location and the fact that I was able to upgrade on the spot for a larger room. I am actually laid up in bed with a throat problem since my stay at the hotel. The Air condiitioning was on throughout my stay in room122 spouting out cold air which has affected my throat very badly. Your night staff was called to the problem, but was not able to turn off the Air con. I mentioned the problem to staff uipon checking out but nothing was said, not even an apology, I never slept a wink all night through coughing. My stay is now memorable for the wrong reasons.

It was comfortable and the location was very good for us. That it was covered in scaffolding. The curtains in the bedroom didn't reach right accross the window, so privacy was compromised and light came in early morning!

Comfortable rooms - Nice staff Only one minor gripe - 30 minute tube ride into central London - but for the price, it really is a non-issue

location was good and rates were OK ! was subject to loud music late at night due to pub next door hosting heavy metal band on one night of my stay. Due to a badleg I was given a ground floor room. The room was Ok. TV was a bit wobbly, but with some coaxing it worked ok. unfortunately loud kitchen extraction system was operating till 10.30 every night. Room smelt strongly of restaurant. Staff polite and helpful. I was offered another room on the night of the noise when it hadnt stopped by 11pm, however uprooting, getting packed and changed to move into a quieter room was I admit a bit too much trouble. The noise stopped about 11.45. Suggest hotel complains to local EHO as the levels were not legal in a built up area. This hotel is OK for business, but would not like to stay here for leisure. Overal it was an acceptable stay. I use Days Inn a lot and this was by far the least impressive franchise I have stayed at. Not a bad hotel, but not the best.

Good sized room, quiet even though next to station, easy tube connection; hot drinks facility in room; king sized bed. Took a little time to work out how to switch air con off which was a bit noisy.

Hotel location is good right next to South Ruislip station. Car parking is reasonably secure and included. All hotel staff were very helpful and polite with very good service. Hotel was also clean with good size room. We ate in the hotel every evening and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Choice was between Italian and Indian dishes. It would be nice to see more people use the restaurant as the price and quality together with service was very good. Good location for travelling to the city centre, takes about 30 minutes. Hotel is being refurbished from outside but no noise problem although unsightly with plenty of scaffolding. All in all, the hotel is highly recommended. Larger variety for choice of meals would help. Hair dryer is located inside a draw and was most difficult to use and noisy......never seen one wired inside a draw before? Bar area was busy when football was on Sky tv and open to outside public. It didn't exactly get rowdy but can be off putting. There should be space allocated in the bar area for hotel Clients and families. Wanted to watch live matches but there was no space which was mainly occupied by outside public and my wife was put off to spend time in the bar area.

Comfortable and good value. Unfortunately the maid on the 2nd floor was banging on the door at 9.40 demanding that we vacate as the cleaning had to be done. The time to vacate the room was 11.00 pm. This was not necessary and quite unpleasant. It suited out purpose for the time we need to stay. Everything was very good and adequate.

Beds are really comfortable, room was really quiet both of which mean I can sleep well. Location (for London) is great. At £60 per night it is priced well. I have seen rooms priced at £80 per night which is way too much.

It was a very nice hotel, clean staff were friendly very close to tube station which was handy, and close enough to wembley were we needed to be. Unfortunately our stay was for a sunday evening and the bar closed at 11pm so getting back from wembley at 11 meant we couldnt get a drink or snack which for london I thought abit poor.

Very convenient for both tube and outside facilities. Easy free parking. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Room very clean and comfortable and good value. Will definitely recommend and use again if the price is as reasonable as it was when I booked. Absolutely nothing to dislike at all. Everything was fine.

I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the rooms/reception area/parking and the staff were very helpful too. I would have expected to pay more given the location close to the London tube. Excellent value for money. My only small criticism was that the pillows were too hard.

“The Mornington included a breakfast in the price of the room. The breakfast was very nice indeed and really set us up for the day. If we had been paying for a breakfast separately I'm sure it would have been £10 or £15 each per day. Also the hotel was situated very close to the Lancaster Gate tube station and we were also able to walk across Hyde Park to get to Harrods etc.” Jeff, Newtownards |
