Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms immaculate. Finding the car park at the rear was difficult but once found. Could do with clearer signposting.

Breakfast was excellent Location wasn't what we were expecting. Though on a bus route the bus on the Saturday afternoon were not a frequent as you would expect in a large city. Plenty of parking space but finding the car park was difficult as it was a the rear of the hotel. We were travelling to see a football match and felt that the desciption of nearness to the football ground was misleading. On another note we used a Black Cab back to the hotel from the city centre and the and felt that his service wasn't very good.

Clean, quiet, comfortable. Shower that worked. Decent breakfast. Only problem I found was the car park is not easy to find or to access. It is on dual carriageway so not easy to get to. Double yellow lines outside so unable to pull up to locate the car park which is round the back but is quite a distance to actually find and access and no obvious directions to it.

Helpful nature of owner, nice dinner (single course tho' & not the 3 courses indicated for the same indicated price on the menu in the room). Secure carpark facility. Lack of directions to carpark location to the rear of hotel, not obvious from the front. Toilet seat insecure, shelf above sink unusable due to it sloping forward; also its location meant one kept banging ones head when trying to wash ones face/shave (sink too small & kept losing the water). Space between desk & bed inadequate, would have been better to relocate desk facility to the corner of the room. This is not really a hotel, more an uprated b&b, no vat facility provided. Not handicapped/wheel chair friendly - no facility to get to rooms above the ground floor.

It was very convenient to the Motorway, to Aston Villa Football Club, Aston Hall and there was a station nearby making access to the city centre cheap and easy. The staff were friendly and although I would class it as a budget hotel the rooms were en suite and there were tea/coffee making facilities in the room and a secure car park at the rear of the hotel. Also free wifi. I think it was excellent value for money and if I ever need to stay in the area again that will definitely be my first choice. It was nice to get a single room without having to pay a penalty for being single.

All the members of staff were very helpfull, and willing to give information and all the help they could. The only complaint would be finding the car park but once found it was ok.

I found the Dayspring Hotel cosy and friendly, and is best described as 'home from home'. My room was comfortable, with good facilities, including free WiFi, and I was served a very tasty and wholesome home-cooked evening meal. Estelle, the proprietor, could not have been more welcoming or helpful. I shall certainly use the Dayspring again. There are a lot of stairs in the hotel, which does not concern me, as I have a lot of stairs at home, but I would imagine it would not be suitable for anyone who has a problem climbing stairs.

The hotel was very clean, comfortable and the staff so friendly, certainly didn't feel like an unimportant number as you can so often feel in a large hotel. Being a woman travelling alone I felt very safe and secure and it was lovely to chat with other guests in such an informal way over breakfast in the conservatory. The lady who runs it was so helpful and accommodating. The hotel was superbly situated for me as I had a course I needed to be at by 8.00 am at Star City and the journey, even in the rush hour only took me 10 mins. Thank you for a lovely overnight stay.

Good evening meal and breakfast I got an electric shock from a bedside lamp which had previously failed it's pat test. When subsequently unplugging the lamp I discovered the red "do not use" label attached at the plug.

The Hotel is like a BNB...Rooms were ok but the interior was really bad and dirty. It is definately not good if you are going on a business trip as it is far from city and alsi a rough area.rooms were neat and clean but the hotel itself was not clean..and also there were no lifts and the rooms are on the third floor ...

Owner was not aware of our booking. Owner did not read booking regarding taking pets. Owner did not accommodate us asking for breakfast 15mins earlier. Owner was very abrupt when speaking to guests. When I asked for heating to be turned down, as room was stifling hot and radiator knob was broken, I was told they would fix this and they did not!

Location The accommodation was shabby. Service wasn't great. I have stayed in much nicer and cleaner hotels for the same price as the Dayspring. Very bad value for money. I will definitely not be going there again.

Secure car park, staff were very courteous, friendly and accommodating. The bathroom was terrible. Door does not shut properly. Poor flow of water in the shower and extremely slow drainage of water in the shower. Slow drainage of water in the washbasin. Nowhere to hang clothes during shower. Soap tray in the shower and over washbasin unusable as they are unsteady. Privacy compromised with no blind over window in bathroom.

Friendly staff, nice breakfast, good shower, free fuss free internet. Great for access on the motorway, if you need a quick stop over point, as we did driving down from Scotland to London. Hotel hadn't recieved my confirmation, but I had proof and reservation codes. Later was told it was due to no ink in the printer. I hope I'm not charged twice. Tv in the room, didn't work. Breakfast was included, and a buffet service, However on asking for some more coffee, I was told I would have to pay for it. Can't see why I would have had to pay, and really a couple of coffees, is this asking too much. Bit stingy I feel. Access to the parking isn't so easy when arriving at night.
