One of the most well-equipped hotels on Jersey, with 2 pools, 2 bars, 2 restaurants and free parking, Apollo Hotel is located at the heart of St. Helier.
Score from 543 reviews Good
In the centre of St Helier, this independent colonial-style hotel has a seasonal outdoor heated pool and free Wi-Fi. With a bar, restaurant and bright, modern rooms, the harbour is just 1 mile away.
Score from 207 reviews Very good
Just a short walk from St Helier waterfront, The Mountview Hotel offers refurbished en suite rooms with free limited private parking, within walking distance of the ferry port.
Score from 319 reviews Very good
Situated in Havre-Des-Pas, right on the sea front and opposite the public bathing pool, this family-run guest house has a bar, a restaurant and free Wi-Fi in the public areas.
Score from 112 reviews Very good
Excellent hotel, lovly location with all amenities at hand, very helpful staff, all in all excellent value for the price you pay, its nice to get a bit extra nowdays and the Hotel Normandie certainly goes that little bit extra in all departments
Staff were very friendly and helpful
Shower lacked pressure and was tepid. Temporary breakfast/dinner room was dismal and needed more natural light (when renovations finished hopefully will improve)
The location is good, walkable to town centre (about 10 minutes) but very seasidey, felt like we were on holiday!
A few restaurants and cafe's were closed for the winter season so not much choice nearby for dining out, etc
A bit short on towels, if being picky, hot water took a long time to come through, shower head fixed.
Excellent Staff Good Breakfast Great value Nice and Quiet
Although the hotel is slightly dated, I quite like that fact, this is one thing i find missing from the more modern bland hotels you find today
Liked everything, great value for money
Recently refurbished room. Friendly staff. Excellent Breakfast. Good value.
Location is good as it's just a 10 minute walk to town. I got the hotel at a good price so I consider that when I book in and look around the place. However, if I had paid full price I would have claimed that it was overpriced. If I could get it that cheap again I would stay there again.
The radiators were turned off and had the tops of the taps removed. I had to ask the hotel reception to send someone up with a spanner to open them up. By this time I had already had a first cold night. The hotel maintenance were knocking on the door one morning to do work in the room (unrelated to the rads). There are contractors living in the hotel on winter lets but they all seemed to be quite considerate. The hotel bar closes at 11pm every night which was quite dissapointing.
The location and cleanliness and staff very good
There was a bit of confusion about the rooms when arriving with other couples, and even though the menus around the hotel say 'room service' when we asked, reception said it's never been done and that they had snacks in reception so that was a bit disappointing.
Close to the sea Good public transport Wifi signal was very good Plenty for breakfast including hot chocolate Swimming pool
Would have like croissants as a breakfast option
Friendliness of the staff and people. Within reasonable walking distance of town centre as buses are expensive but rover tickets are available.
Bit of a box room, not very nice view from window, but fine if your not going on holiday and are just needing a bed for a few nights like I was.
Far to far from town centre!
HOTEL EXCELLENT staff very nice warm and friendly breakfast full English the best we have ever had easy walking to town centre opposite beach we will be back we will also highly recommend it to our family and friends
Everything was good we mostly enjoyed that the swimming pool was open late as not many places do that. The room was lovely and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delisious and we would stay there again
We didn't like that there was no proper room services only snacks as some places some serve all food.
Easy to get to friendly staff great location
We went out of season so some of it was being refurbished
All the staff very very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The views from our room were of the sea. great location.Very clean and excellent facilties. A lovely room just of reception to sit quietly and read the paper was a very good .Food was excellent value for money The staff is their number one asset .
The only small gripe is the car park . very small and oddly shaped . Not easy to park. Only worried because I had a hire car that I did not want scratched .
not a lot. would not consider going to this hotel!!! again
no heating in room-couldn't be repaired. so we asked to be moved breakfast was awful-very dried up. the staff were very rude and couldn't be bothered. the balcony in our room was very dangerous. it moved when stood on, also the wood was rotten.
The woman who served breakfasts and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. I liked the pool, although it was a bit on the cool side. Great value for money. Good location. Excellent wifi.
The two men who served breakfasts were grumpy, arrogant and unhelpful. The room wasn't very warm. The bed had a thin duvet -fine for the summer but not December.
Staff were great and the breakfast excellent
The room was extremely hot even with the heat off. As my room was on the ground floor, I didn't feel safe to open the window. The bathroom had a slight unpleasant smell
Plentiful English breakfast included in fantastically cheap 'out of season' room rate.
Concern over being required to leave car keys at reception, to allow hotel staff to "shuffle" cars in car park and optimise the space in the grounds, which has irregular shaped parking bays painted that are too small for a fiesta!
breakfast, breakfast staff, indoor pool
grump reception staff
Room was not very clean
clean modern room. good swimming pool and jacuzzi
As usual, as a single traveler my room was small with a view of flat roofs. An extremely noisy function on Sat evening, 8pm to half past midnight loud music v loud bass, so loud I could only just hear my TV on full volume. Call to receptio at 10.30pm no decrease in loudness offer to move my room but I was in bed and all my belongings spread around the room so not possible to move. Second call to reception at 12.20 night porter who said there was nothing he could do. Why was I given that room when the hotel knew there was going to be a noisy function on the Saturday? They obviously had other rooms as they offered to move me.
Cannot fault the hotel other than the observation below
the jacuzzi was not maintained properly. The filter was either needing replacement or was not working properly - numerous particles in the water. Pool lighting was poor and difficult to judge if it was receiving the necessary attention also. Only used once as a result.
Lovely friendly staff willing to help make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Good location to get out and about extra car parking which was well received just a great few days break
