The staff were all friendly and helpful. I requested an iron on arrival. It was delivered within 5 minutes. The room and bathroom were nice a nice size, and clean. The breakfast was perfect, with plenty hot tasty food, and plenty of toast.

The Dean Park Hotel is always a welcome sight after a long day, the staff are always superb with a welcoming and friendly attitude. The Dean Park has become almost a home away from home for me this year and is always spotlessly clean with beautifully cooked food at evening and breakfast time. For anyone looking for a quiet friendly hotel I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Having stayed for 6 weeks during the start of this year I can't honestly fault it or the service or price. Nothing

Booked a single room, when arrived received a free upgrade to a large double room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Large selection of specials. Wish I had time to try them all. The meal I did try was very good. Please add a printout of the specials to the menu as the two boards that are displayed are only in the grill room and not the other restaurant.

Staff were very warm, very kind.. and our room was warm and home-like.... The biggest thing that i was puzzled by was when ever i get a full on breakfast.. which was included in the room rate.. i always eat everything on the plate and feel awful later from all the grease... for some reason i felt awesome after the meal and for the rest of the day still thought about how great that meal was... My girlfriend said it was because they made the breakfasts up fresh for you rather than making a big buffet where it's been sitting in grease for an hour.. don't know if she was right, but i wish every one of my full-on British Breakfasts was like that for the rest of my life! It's not in the city centre... I think it cost £10sh to taxi to the train station..

It was convenient to stay there as I was at one of their party nights so did not have to drive home. Always a bonus! Bed was rather narrow, not a proper single size. There was also mould in the shower cubicle, only one part of it, but it totally spoiled the effect of an otherwise lovely bathroom. Toilet seat also needed to be fixed as it was loose and wobbled.

Good service, nice staff, good food, cleanliness, location. We were attending a double wedding reception and the organisation, the fodd, the service & the entertainmaent were all first class. We'd go back again. Bedroom was a bit too warm but, in fairness, it is an old stone-built bldg so I guess they understandably err on the side of warmth. The cabaret singer in the bar on Friday night was technically very good but the volume could have been toned down a bit for the sake of conversation.

Location was ideal for my business trip The Evening Meal and the Breakfast were very good. I stayed in room 29 single bed. I stop in hotels/Guest houses all over the country and must say this was the poorest room. The bed was old and sagged in the middle - I had to put two pillows under the mattress to try and sleep in it. The noise coming through the walls - like central heating noises - went on for hours in the nighr and then in the morning the radiator in the room started banging and what sounded like it was filling up went on from 5.30am for a couple of hours. I did make these comments to the receptionist and she seemed more interested in me paying the bill!! Will not stop there again.

Its the hotel where we got married, and so it holds memories for us. Its easily located, close to my parents. Staff are nice. Rooms are good sizes. Service was slow, food was cold. Got seated for breakfast at a dirty table.

The staff at Dean Park Hotel are simply brilliant. I had requested a twin room when booking on the Booking.com "Comments From Booker" section and the information was not passed to Dean Park Hotel. The staff were very helpful in sorting out the problem and apologised for the inconvenience. The food was gorgeous with good portions size. The room was spotless and comfortable, with a nice decor. If you want a clean, friendly, quiet and well priced hotel, then this is the one to book.

They looked after us very well, indeed! My wife uses an electric wheelchair whenever she leaves our home, even to go to the local shop. The room was perfectly equiped for us both, and the staff couldn't do enough for us. No complaint, whatsoever. If we want to return to the area in the future the Dean Park Hotel will certainly be at the top of our list.
