Excellent location - close to restaurants, theaters, tourist sites, museum, the tube, etc.; spacious rooms
Very poor communication from the staff about the rental prior to arriving; switched us to a different, very noisy apartment; heating hard to control; took them 2 days to get the toilet fixed
We have 2 teenage kids not old enough for their own room on separate floor in strange city. I booked a 2 bed apt. We needed to stay an extra night so I called endlessly eventually someone answered to phone and it was then I discovered how they altered my booking
Office staff rang to say they had waived the early entry charge so we were able to check in at 1pm.
Apartment not the one described in photos. Opposite a pub and restaurant which meant we had a really disturbed night once we got back from NYE fireworks. Website states apartment is in Dean Street but it's actually in Berwick Street above a jeweller's - Dean Street would have been quieter from what we saw. Door handle came off in mum's hand leaving her stuck in her bedroom. Door handle also came off main bedroom door. Whole apartment was in poor state of repair. Shower plumbed in incorrectly -use cold water tap for hot and vice versa. Definitely not worth the money we paid. Avoid if you have small children as windows are very unsafe.
The person who we met for key was very helpful sorted wi fi for us and went and bought brand new pillows and duvet after we pointed out issues with originals.
Apartment not very clean , bedding for downstairs bed was incomplete and was laying in cupboard with buckets cleaning equipment etc. some interior lights not fitted into ceiling properly and front door has Yale lock which you can open just by pushing door. All that said its close to being a really nice apartment it needs a bit if effort and time
no lighting in the stairwell was a safety issue that wasn't addressed during our stay
The location was excellent for the reasons we were in London and for getting around sight seeing. On first approach we wasn't very impressed, the stairs up to the apartment were like a building site and the apartment a little rough round the edges was also disappointed more as couldn't help but think it was a lesser apartment to what we thought we were staying in Dean street, not sure why the location wasn't as stated when I booked and no explanation.however luckily it was only 2 streets from dean street and still in the area we wanted! All in all for the location and price it was well worth the money.
Staff organisation - non existent! Apartment - falling apart and not very welcoming. Ok for somewhere to leave stuff and rest head - but location was only positive
Fantastic location in soho
Very very noisy street opposite pub with bin and booze deliveries early mornings, so sleep almost impossible. Windows should be double glazed but aren't. Bed collapsed when sat on because slats missing. Sofa bed with ridge down middle for one unlucky person. Cupboard doors and handles fall off as you touch them. Great location though.
The location was very good, close to covent garden and tube station so easily accessible. That was the best thing about the whole experience.
We booked one two bedroom apartment for a birthday weekend, which was also confirmed 2 days prior to arrival, only to be told when we arrived that our original apartment wasn't available and we would have to be split up between 2 apartments in different locations! We refused to accept this as the whole point of this was so we could stay together! They then had to transport an extra bed to the apartment. The apartment itself was dirty and hadn't been cleaned, there was dust everywhere and the toilets were terrible dirty, the taps also leaked. To top it off the lock on our apartment door was broken and couldn't be locked so we couldn't leave to go out until it was fixed. They used a hammer to fix this problem. Considering I booked this 3 months in advance for a special birthday, it was a big disappointing. Would not stay there again.
It was a nice clean good sized apartment in a central location
Could of done with providing some basics like tea, coffee etc It was very noisy at night
the apartment was confortable and the location was good
where to start....they put and adress in booking that it´s not the adress of the apartmt.they came late and made as waited a lot for the check in and it was freezing outside.the person who came was anything but nice.It was cold inside and the water was cold too.I wouldn´t recomend this apt.
the location is good
We paid the extra £20 for priority cleaning and early check in. We entered the apartment and it was unclean and degraded. I have tried to complain to the company who are ignoring my emails... Only 2 of the 5 of us managed to have showers in the morning due to no hot water... In the bathroom...The water does not drain away in the sink and no plug was provided. All dirty bits and hair had been brushed to the corners of the room and not actually swept up. In the kitchen No washing up liquid was provided and unsurprisingly by that point there were dirty trays in the oven...
Lovely location, very clean apartment. felt safe even though in the centre of London
Just a bit noisy outside because of location but once asleep not a problem.
Walking distance to the west end theatre
Very noisy street the whole night. The building seem still not completely finished , beddings stinks of cigarette. 300 pounds a night is not worth it .
Modern apartment Central location
Apartment not ready - cleaner still there at after 3pm Not in stated location Not enough bedding provided - had to call for more
The location was brilliant
Not Dean Street apartment which wasn't made clear when I booked Windows didn't shut properly Blinds at windows weren't big enough Toilet didn't flush and still didn't after someone was sent to repair it Cupboard doors broken Bedroom and bathroom doors didn't shut properly Sink took ages to drain Mould all over shower Cleaners tried to get us to leave early sunday morning after letting herself in as 'they were busy'
Please don't be fooled by the photos you see. You book an apartment and you are only told 2 days in advance where you will actually be staying. We tried to email and phone the company, but no answer. Even complained through booking.com and they could not reach them either. When we got there we could see everything was brand new, but so new that it barely had anything agains the walls. Looked very depressing. No pillow covers on some beds. No duvet covers. They also initially gave us the wrong keys and had to come and replace it the next day. One of the other tenants in the building had to buzz us in every time and was not very happy about it. I think Booking.com should stop advertising these apartments. I have a long list of complaints about this company, but don't want to waste any more of my time on these people. The manager phoned us the last day and was extremely rude and not very helpful. We were checking out the next day, so even if he wanted to sort out the bedding situation it was to late. We booked an apartment in Dean street as their name was Dean Street Apartments. Then they changed their name to Central London Apartments. I have proof of all the email I sent them to enquire of this, but they only got back to me 2 days before the time to give me a different address. Don't book through Central London Apartments!
apartment modern and clean Good location
got locked out of apartment and could not get in touch with sny1 to let us in
Great location on a lovely side street with very tasty looking sandwich, breakfast and other outlets. Once inside the apartment, everything was perfectly functional.
As my event was in Dean St, I thought that something advertised as a Dean St Apartment would be perfect. The fact it then turned out to be 2 blocks north was disappointing, and the fact I had to meet someone in the street to be taken to the property was unusual and disconcerting. After standing around for 20 minutes, I was led to front door and let in, though the apartment was still not ready despite this being mid afternoon. The building this apartment is in does not give you confidence as you walk in - dingy student accommodation at premium price - not a good first impression. And the view to the street shown in the photo is not of this apartment - the 'deck' was basically a tiny smokers space, with building materials stored in it and and hemmed in by the walls of the buildings around it.
We cannot fault a thing, next to London Palladium prime position, from the moment we arrived til the moment we left we had constant smiles on our faces. Beautiful clean apartment, & 6 slept well in a one bedroomed apartment.
Coming home :-(
Bed comfy Spacious 2 en suite
wasn't in stated location Big black hairs in the bath extremely noisy Felt like you were in someone else's place The guide was late we were told we were staying in Dean street and received an email and phone call stating a different address This was a short family break which was supposed to be right near Leicester Sq but ended up in the centre of Soho in a very scruffy area In was so disappointed .
Dirty carpet, Poor condition of shower & toilet (had problems with flushing), heaters in some areas of the apartment was not working
The location was great for us and good value with 3 double bedrooms as hate it when a sofa bed is classed as a bed! Spotless and high spec apartment too.
Key handover was restrictive as you have to meet at a pre-arranged time. Charging for bag storage is a con. Main bedroom at the front was very noisy but other 2 were fine.
Location, standard of appartment.
some things did not work us some lamp, was broken, I was missing a hairdryer.
Central location at 193 Wardour Street, Soho. Great apartment - clean and modern. A great option for a group of people travelling together - 3 double bedrooms (+ a double sofa bed), 2 bathrooms, a separate toilet, a lounge and separate kitchen.
The company that own the apartment were very disorganised which really lets down this great apartment: Tthe phone number provided did not work, they did not respond to booking.com chasing them, details were only sent to me after I finally tracked them down. Having arranged a check in time they failed to meet us and we had to wait 30 minutes. They initially told us we could leave the keys in the apartment when we left but on check in asked us to call to arrange a check out time on the morning we were leaving. However they did not reply to my calls - after waiting an hour we were forced to just leave. We were told we would have two sets of keys but were only given one set (between 6 people). Only one towel provided per person. Duvet and pillows provided for sofa bed but no bedding. No soap provided in the bathrooms.
Apartment itself was spacious, clean and well equipped.
Very noisy, not only bars but bin collections etc. difficult to sleep.
