Friendly, homely and just perfect. Attention to detail was awesome. From parking instruction to the ordering of breakfast to the suggestions of nearby eateries/pubs. I particularly liked the fact that a route check for my onward journey was done so I wouldn't be held up. Thank you and hope to come back for a longer stay.
Friendliness of owners Ken and Paula. All facilities were very clean. Fantastic views at rear of property.
Very clean and bright. Excellent gourmet, fresh breakfast. Quite roomy.
View on website seems from floor above. We only saw view through signs on glass doors in breakfast room. In warmer weather, patio view would be an improvement.
Very friendly. Great view. Fab double bath. Great breakfast. Would stay again and highly recommend.
I require gluten free food, and it was provided extremly well.
Great location for walking in the Forest of Dean, superb friendly welcome and wonderful facilities.
Lots of options for in room drinks/snacks. Option of duvet or blanket(always too hot with a duvet) Nice owners.
Heavy mist so didn't get to see the views... lol. Handy location but on a residential street. But quiet area with a nice view We think.
Welcome and view
Warm, friendly welcome. Delightful rural setting with open views of surrounding countryside. Ideal location for touring Forest of Dean and Wye Valley.
Location as there are no local dining facilities
Delicious breakfast with a very wide choice, lovely views, within the forest of Dean
The bath was rather awkward to get into, because of its height.I Could manage gingerly, but anyone wth mobility problems might have great problems
Great location clean & friendly
The view, the hospitality, the little extras, the breakfast and the comfort. Would definitly recommend.
One tiny complaint -the toilet seat slips slightly when you sit on it!
Friendly welcome from Paula & Ken. Cleanliness, great shower. Wonderful view. Good variety of choice for breakfast.
The host were very friendly happy to give information about the area. The room was very comfortable spotlessly clean and a comfortable bed. Can recommend the b&b don't miss it when visiting the area the view was wonderful.
There was nothing to not like
Clean room Good Views over valley
Thin walls' you can hear the people in the next room talking. Huge double bath with three steps to get in. Unsuitable for people who are not so agile.
Good breakfast, friendly owners, fantastic scenery,
TV reception not so good
No faults had a great six days Really nice couple
We loved the location of the property. My husband and I wanted somewhere close to Go Ape and the Forest of Dean and this was so close to the area we wished to visit. On arrival Paula and Ken were very friendly, giving us information about the area, sights to see and places to eat before showing us to our room. It was a very relaxed environment and both were very personable. If you want a weekend away in the peace and quiet, close to all activities, with a stunning view from the garden this is the place to stay. I look forward to going back to the Forest of dean and staying at Dean Valley Panorama again.
Very quite a good nights sleep guaranteed
If you are disabled or have difficlulty walking you may find the steps into the kitchen room difficult.
Very friendly and welcoming, all you needed for a comfortable short break.
Good location and wonderful view. Paula and Ken were very friendly and helpful.
Would have appreciated somewhere to sit in our room other than the bed.
We thought the proprietors Ken and Paula made every effort to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They kindly lent us a local OS map and guidebook. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
Double bath. Privacy. Extra touches- slippers and nice biscuits with the tea making facilities. Good selection of stuff for breakfast and lovely orange juice. Stunning view.
My boyfriend suggests that smaller breakfast plates would be good- to make it look as though he had a fuller plate, or to offer more of each item of the cooked breakfast so that he did have a fuller plate.
