The location was perfect .

The access to menu for evening meal, The lack of kitchen facilities for any breakfast which had an apology but no offer of refund.

The room was spacious and very comfortable, with good facilities. The house itself is lovely with country-house style and interesting sports memorabilia dotted around the corridors. Staff were very pleasant and helful. Great value for the price I paid.

The only downside was that my room only had a bath - no shower, which would be my personal preference. The bath and rest of en-suite were a good standard though.

It was the third time Ihat I have stayed at Deer Park, I just find it so comfortable and quiet after a long journey. The views are beautiful and the interior furnishings are superb.

The pot holes in the drive up to the house. If you have a four by four its fine but I only have a Ford Fiesta.

Fabulously welcome to doggy guests with dog pamper hut with treats.

Room was miles from reception, up and down many stairs: would not benefit older or infirm people

Everything liked except hard to find without GPS and roads too narrow,

The general ambience with unusual features such as the 'Priory' collection of sports memorabilia all of it was unlike chain hotels. Delightful building in wonderful country.

Long potholed drive to the hotel.

I liked the hotel on first arriving but it did not reach the standard I think it could have.

When we first arrived we had to wait 40 minuets to be show our rooms even tho we arrived later than booking time.Even tho we made separate bookings my co passenger did state that I was disabled and that we wished rooms near to one another my room was reached by stairs and the other was reached by having to walk quite away on the outside. Breakfast was very limited there was no fruit as an option and when we asked for flora they did not cater for the different peoples dietary needs.

An excellent stay. The staff were all very friendly. Our room was very well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The countryside around the hotel was very peaceful and relaxing.

Everything was fine. No problems.

We selected a superior room which was very spacious. Beds were comfortable. Lovely grounds and dining was very nice. Staff were very accommodating.

Rooms a little noisy, but you expect that in an old Hotel.

The menu and its execution were decidedly average.

Very friendly staff. Lovely room - exceptionally comfortable bed. Lounge very comfortable. House is elegant, slightly faded but very pleasant. For us location is perfect as it is just off A303 but quiet, peaceful spot. Very good value.

Fruit at breakfast was supplied but had to be especially prepared as told it wasnt available. Yoghurt not available. Local produce - honey, jams etc would have been nice and decent bread rather than ready sliced.

I went with another lady friend of mature years and we booked a twin room. Apparently the hotel only has two twin rooms, both of which are in the attic ( 2nd floor) up the most dreadful windy stairs. We had to make sure that once we were down we were down as I couldn't have made it back up there again.

Cosy environment, friendly staff

scaffolding, room a little small would be unhappy to pay full price for it, but pleased only paid £59 for double.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be going back for a longer stay next time!

The staff were extremely friendy and attentive, couldn't have asked for more. The hotel itself was very warm and cosy with that country house feel. We had booked a Master Room which was very spacious and elegant with lovely views over the grounds. The food was amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed.

There was nothing to dislike.
