Friendly, helpful, great breakfast, a few minutes from everywhere,
Everything perfect and clean. Great breakfast. Fiona and Keith are really great people and they always do very best to satisfy their guests.
The ease of walk into town, breakfast was excellent .
Location and couple running the hotel
Booked with my American Express and when I went to check out the hotel did not except Am. Express.
Rooms well presented & clean. Good choice for breakfast - plus gluten free bread & non-dairy milks. Free to come & go as you wanted. Car parking.
Couldn't get two comfortable in the bathroom at the same time. No teapots for the herbal teas - bit strong in a teacup, no mugs. Wi-fi poor.
Friendly and helpful staff
Great hospitalitly and welcoming nothing was too much trouble from the hosts Fiona and Keith .Room was clean and facilites excellent .B&B was warm and friendly Breakfast was hearty and staff couldnt do enough for you .The B&B is ideally situated only a short stroll to the promenade and shops .Would definantly recommend a stay here and thankyou Fiona and Keith for a great stay .
In a beautiful and charming seaside location, close to everything, good and rich breakfast, free parking and very good wi-fi service.

Great breakfast nothing too much trouble.
Limit access to lounge.
from the time we went there and the time we went home they was very welcoming and the beds was really comfortably and the breakfast was nice specially the variety they have especially. the fruit salad was nice i will be going again
I wasn't happy to hear that booking.com gets 20% of the fee. This feels like I have ripped this lovely hotel off. I didn't realise your commission was so high. Will probably not use this site again sadly as it is convenient of course..
my husband and I had a two night stay at the Del Mar and enjoyed it very much, the staff and management were lovely and we would definitely stay again, the breakfast of fresh fruit and yogurt, and then a full English was absolutely lovely. Enjoyed everything about this Guest House.
Nothing I can think of,
The lovely hospitally and helpfulness of the people.
The friendliness of staff they did everything they could to make us comfortable, nothing was too much trouble The breakfast was excellent again anyb request was accommodated
everything was excellent have no complaints
Friendly staff, good breakfast great value for money
Very reasonable price.
Limited period to have breakfast. Seagulls squawking all night! (Suggest secondary glazing to cut down noise?)
This B&b is very central to the beach, it has very comfortable feeling and we felt totally relaxed after 4 days stay. I have a gluten allergy, they catered for me daily at breakfast.
Good breakfasts and comfy beds. Friendly staff too.
Clean place, very nice rooms, spacious as well. Accessible to the promenade/ pier... And hospitable hosts
No elevator and all rooms are on 2nd/3rd floor- a little problematic for older parents
Everything was fantastic.room,staff and food
Arrived after a tortuous 3 hour drive from Manchester to be greeted by a friendly welcoming smile. Fiona explained everything to us and showed us to our room (7). This small but perfectly formed and spotlessly clean bedroom was at the front of the hotel. Everything one could want, including a safe is provided. The bed was very comfortable with good quality bedding and the shower was excellent. On arrival we were asked what we would wish for breakfast. I found this a little unusual but not a problem. However, if you wish to change your order for subsequent mornings, make sure you tell Fiona or Keith otherwise you will get the same each morning. I had chosen full English which was perfectly cooked. My wife's poached egg on toast was equally well cooked. A selection of cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurt is available to enjoy prior to the cooked element and fruit juice, filter coffee and tea is provided as required. Keith, Fiona and others serving at breakfast were all extremely friendly and cheerful. I would highly recommend this lovely, traditional b&b.
If I had to be critical it is that our table (7) was very close to table 11. I like my personal space in the morning and I think ourselves and the other couple sat next to us felt a touch uncomfortable at being so close to each other. This really is a minor point and others may not have a problem.
The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome from the first minute we arrived. We loved it so much that we will be returning again next year! Cant wait!
There was nothing that i didn't like.
