On entering Bijou we immediately liked the decor which is modern and a little on the quirky side! It was central, clean and the staff were helpful. We liked the toiletries also the tea tray with biscuits and sweets! Breakfast was delicious --- a cooked breakfast that was piping hot and not running with grease. The room was a little bit on the small side, which we were advised about before our stay --- ok for a couple of nights but maybe not ideal for much longer. The mattress was a bit too much on the firm side for us. |

The location is excellent, within easy walking distance to Town Centre for shopping and dining out. The breakfast is second to none, the overall decor is in keeping with the 'bijou' theme, and the owner and staff are most pleasant. The en suite facilities may be restrictive due to the layout of the rooms. |

The bed and breakfast was close to the center of Harrogate within easy walking distance of shopping and the bus and train station. The main room was warm and inviting and on several occassions we had our coffee and read the paper after a long day of sightseeing. |

It was a unique hotel with a superb lovely touch and friendly welcoming by the owner. The leisure room for the guests was very lovely designed and offered a laptop to use the internet for free. The bathroom was small and staying there for a longer time would have been a problem to display the various needy things. |
