The location was ok and the price was fair
The dinning room was rather busy witha limited time for breakfast. If you was part of a bus tour you were served first . must be to get them out.
food and service very good staff friendly and helpful
hotel abit shabby
good food polite staff very friendly.our room allicanti was one of the best we have stayed in,excellent all round views of the bay.we would like to thank the owners for their considerate co operation towards us
sound from entertainment downstairs but did not last long.i might add that it was good entertainment normally my wife and I would join in but due to bad news from home the mood was not there, maybe next time.
the location on the cliff top looking out to sea.
needs decorating and was dirty and rundown. a waste of money and the staff were not on the ball and seemed rude
Everything was fine. Nice boiled eggs
Lovely sea view and very big room which was clean.
Porridge served at same time as breakfast. Staff only interested in people on bus tour, even though we paid a lot more than them!
staff very nice food good, very clean room
attainment not good
Good Breakfast, Friendly staff
Hotel looked run down on first impression single room was very small shower very small Furniture in rooms looked old and dilapidated having to pay for T.V. remote T.V. reception terrible I was with a disabled person and access was very difficult and lift was a nightmare.
Really good breakfast although 45 minutes is a tight schedule to fit breakfast into.
Small double room and very shabby decor. Hotel needs to be completely refurbished. Parking arrangements in the area of hotel is a joke.
Location good staff attentive breakfast pretty good
Bed was very old and uncomfortable a new mattress wouldn't go a miss hotel in general very tired and could do with updating although clean enough to the eye!!!!
excellent location, friendly staff good food
out dated décor, problem parking
The smell, the room, the mouldy shower, the miniscule hand basin - bend over and you'll crack your head on the shelf, poor lighting, dirty windows, lack of parking
The view from my bedroom window overlooking the beach
The breakfast times were abit restricted we were only allowed to eat between 8.30and 9.15 and had to queue up and be told where to sit.
The location was pretty good. Breakfast not bad.
Our room was like a little box! very stuffy. I booked a room with a sea view what we got was a little window that didn't open. House keeping woke us up every morning between 8-830 am. was not happy when I was on loo & they let themselves in. The shower was a joke smaller than a phone box. Not much sleep because of the noisy women coming in at 2 am and having very load conversations on the landing. overall glad to get home & have some sleep. Took payment before we even saw room probably because I would have left as soon as I saw room.
Unmodernised place. Old rooms & furniture. Small, basic shower/wc. Room overpriced at £75 inc breakfast.
Location and room
Dining arrangements. mattress had sagged in middle and worn out
We were able to leave our bags before check-in whilst we went to the cricket and after check-out before we left Scarboro.
Small room, no light over wash basin, facilities in room very basic for £75 for the room.
It was walking distance to some bars and restaurants and close to the sea.
The hotel was shappy and tired. There was a young man on reception who was very unprofessional, shouted at guests that wanted serving at the bar whilst he was selling Bingo tickets at reception and trying to check us in. I was very disappointed as the room cost £79 and I expect a much better standard for that price. Wouldn't recommend.
The situation of the hotel was excellent and the staff did their best.
We had bed and breakfast so I can only comment on the situation in the dining room at breakfast. The food was good and the staff were friendly but overworked. I felt very sorry for one of the waitresses who was abused by a customer because we were having to wait for service. They need more staff.
Having to pay £10 Dep. For a T.V. remote to watch a rubish T.V. No hair dryer in room. Bathroom advertised. - Shower in a cupboard. Breakfast served like Butlins 50 years ago
room was shabby, floor boards creaked, as did the next rooms which was not too good when they were using the loo at 3AM. Bathroom was too tiny, I wont go into details!!
Entertainment at night was ok. Provided a parking space.
Room was dirty furniture was broken bed mat was dirty and blanket stained. Windows very dirty on the inside had to clean to see out window sill very dirty. Bed very uncomfortable old springs. Room smelled very musty. Had to pay ten pound deposit for use of remote control for very small television. Breakfast was a shambles had to wait in a line to be. Put to your table quite stressful as only had 45 min for breakfast as kitchen shut at 9.15 no continental breakfast only cooked very tasteless tomato not cooked tined mushrooms. Hard to get served had to keep asking staff for tea and waiting ages when they came back then had to ask for toast and wait ages again that is when they remembered to come back. If you wanted diner in waving you had to order it in the morning not a lot of choice.
friendly staff wonderful breakfast excellent location
hotel requires modernisation lick of paint (in and out) new carpets
Breakfast - dining room not big enough to cope with the number of guests. Tinned plum tomatoes.
