We stayed in room 136 overnight, and it was lovely! It was exactly as the pictures showed! The rooms were large and clean. I don't know how stupid other reviewers are, but the heating was simple enough to turn on following the instructions. Would definately stay there again! Nothing, everything was perfect!

There was nothing I liked at all, the bathroom was filthy and the gas had been cut off as we had no heating all night. It was an absolute disgrace! The reception told us that the guy who owned the apatment was under breach of his lease contract. Two letters arrived from a court and solicitor while we stayed there. It was filthy, the sink was blocked and the central heating had been cut off, an absoloute rip off!

We liked the freedom and privacy of staying in an apartment, we were able to make food and drinks while we got ready. Going to find staying in a hotel quite restricitve after this stay. The other plus point is location, as 5 minute walk to the shops & restaurants.

Good location. Big balcony. Please don't stop here. You only have to look at the rest of the reviews to know its bad. Bed sheets had not been cleaned, hairs on them, dread to think how many people had slept in them since they were last changed! Worn out rug. No wifi. Heating didnt work, we texted the number on the booking confirmation, he repeated the same instructions which were in the apartment for the heating, we told him they were not working then he texted back saying "ask the concierge" even though it states that they are not for our use. We went out early to warm up. Left the next day pretty early. Then the real fun started! Getting your deposit back. As you can see, a few people have not been returned theirs from the reviews, or at the time of posting they hadn't. The apartment owner would not reply to any of my emails or texts. Completely ignored me when i emailed him about returning my deposit. I had to email booking.com several times for help. They have been great, they can only go on what we both parties are saying. The apartment said they were checking the place on Wednesday and would issue my refund, then it changed to the end of the week. They didn't. After several emails with booking.com The apartment said they had issued my refund on the 4th December, which was false. When booking.com asked them to provide a receipt or confirmation they couldn't. As a gesture of goodwill booking.com has issued my refund of £49.99 Overall a bad experience from these apartments. Don't stop here, well unless you like sleeping in other peoples beds in the cold and don't mind the aggravation of getting your deposit back.

When checking into the apartment up it was absoultley filthy and had a horrible smell! The bathroom had not been cleaned, all flooring looked like it hadn't seen a Hoover and a mop in months, the bedding was dirty and also covered in cat hairs. There was also ladies grips on the mat in the bedroom, I then spent all day on the telephone with bookings.com who could not contact the owner, at 6pm they finally did and he would not give me my money back and said the cleaner did not get chance to finish as I arrived early ( I arrived at 12pm to drop my bags off) I was then offered alternative accommodation which I would have to pay for I had already paid £114 for 1 nights stay at the edge! Please do not book this! What was supposed to be a day and night away for me and my sister was totally ruined by this!

We have had a shocking ordeal with the edge apartments and the male who seems to run this buisness id like to explain how things was The pictures shown great sized rooms, fresh bedding, lovely bathroom all clean with all the essentials needed. We booked the apartment and couldnt wait however, not only was there no desk for someone to greet us and show us to our room the man who works answering the phone was rude and impatient, We finally found our room and when we went in i was gutted. As a female i like to relax after a shower in a little bathrobe and have a bottle of wine watching tv, first thing i done was opened the bathroom door to which i noticed the floors were dirty and hadn't been mopped before our arrival, on the back of the door was a robe JUST ONE even tho we booked as a couple??? Which was covered in makeup round the neckline and had stains on so the apartment had definately NOT been cleaned before we arrived. When i spoke to my mum i told her about the state and she said i should ring the man but me being me i dont like fuss so left it! The beds were messy not made as though a cleaner had been, The sitting room was freezing cold and the heating would not work atall we tried to get it on all evening!!! We went to a local bar and headed back to the apartment after a couple of hours, we had to turn the oven on and leave it open to heat the living room! Disgrace I dont wear makeup during the day time so i had none with me as the night we went out i had a makeup artist do my makeup if you know a good makeup artist then you know they spray fixer on your face so your makeup doesnt budge, We went to bed got up at half 7 and my partner wanted a shower, Lucky us, these amazing apartments didn't even have water!!!! We had to use water from the kettle from the evening before to brush our teeth!!! We felt disgusting and ripped off!! We grabbed our things and headed home So... We had paid a £64 deposit? Everything!!

I cant stress enough... Do not stay at these apartments. I have honestly stayed in better 3 star hotels. The place is filthy, there are stains on the rugs and sofa. The place also smells of stale sweat. The pictures that are advertised are not even the place you stay. I have only just recieved a refund for my deposit. I had to make several calls to booking.com and emailed the so called owner of the place (to which i had no reply after 6 emails) Considering it is now the 18th of November and i stayed there on the 20th October, over 2 weeks for a refund on a deposit is ridiculous.

The location was very good I think the bed sheets need renewing - there were stains on the sheets even though they were clean - similarly priced hotels would generally have much better quality bed sheets. If parking your car it can get v comPlicated - I got locked in the carpark until I realised how to open entrance gate - I think this needs better clarification on check in sheets.

The loction was good. Didnt like the fact that the heatinfg wasnt working and it was freezing. The couch had stains on it and people could see right into your apartment as surronded by other hotels.Smoke alarm kept going of when we used the shower in the bathroom. Beds were to small for Two people.

Very central location. Short way to shoppingareas. Silent area The main waterpipe in the buliding was broken, so we had no water the first 22 hours. Very unconvenient - even they had arranged for shower in nearby hotel. There was only four rooms in the hotel available for ALL residents in The Edge three buildings. Another very bad thing was that we had to pay a deposit of £ 49,99 before arrival - added to the rentalamount.

The room was very lovely. It had not however been cleaned properly from the person before as when we picked up place mats from the table it was covered in crumbs. Customer service team at booking.com excellent. One phone call and they helped us gain entry into the complex. The complex is hard to get into and not friendly advise given when asked.

This is not a hotel or a serviced apartment - it should not be advertised as such on Booking.com - it is a confidence trick. The apartment is a private residence let out by the owner contrary to their tenancy agreement with @ The Edge apartments - there is no concierge service - we were lucky to be able to gain access to the apartment as the security guard does not have any knowledge of irreugular bookings - the owner dealt directly with me in a very unprofessional manner and has not returned my good guest deposit - a very unsatisfactory and upsetting experience - this apartment should not be advertised on your web site.

Location is excellent The heating did not work and owner must have been aware as the apartment was full of fan heaters !! not very luxury!! The response was poor when we tried to get help. The description on your site is not accurate as you have to pay for both parking and wifi.
