We had no hot water the whole stay and the balcony door was broken open so had a freezing living room. This was not fixed until the 2nd night of our stay. The people who rented us this did not care at all and were not willing to help. Luckily booking.com have been a great help at sorting this terrible stay out.
Good location .......
Having trying to contact the apartment on the run up to our stay I had nothing but problems with no point of contact to find out any information. The door to balcony was broken so couldn't get out . And the shower was frezing We tried everything to get hot water but it seems the boiler is broken. After trying to contact them again still no answer even after sending emails and complaining to the people I booked this through Still have not heard a word .... This ruined out whole weekend which was a present to my partner and I would not recommend this apartment to anyone.
Do not waste your money
Flat is not the flat shown in the photographs. It is not a duplex apartment but a small 2 bedroom. Very over priced. The person who is letting out this apartment will charge you an extra £49 "deposit" without consent and then never contact about its return. I've tried to call but they never answer the phone also the email addresses provided are not awnsered/?not real? No hot water- same problem as in many reviews. Do not give these people your money
Unfortunately we did not read the reviews before booking this appartment. Having read the reviews now I can agree with everything written. The balcony door wouldn't shut (as apposed to not opening) and therefore meant there was a constant draft coming into the appartment. When we rang the owner he was less than helpful (infact was quite rude) so this issue was not resolved. The shower was ice cold - we tried every function on the boiler to get it working but to no avail. As with other people who have stayed here, we have not yet received our 'good guest' deposit back - even though we left the appartment as we found it. All in all a complete disappointed, which put a dampner on what was otherwise a fab weekend in Manchester.
In the days leading up to my booking I attempted to contact the property agents numerous times and left numerous messages to call me back and no one ever did. Then whilst in the property we had a couple of problems which we needed help with, and despite having numbers to call, no one bothered to return our calls or help us. As a result we had to leave the patio windows open on a cold night, no hair dryer available, and no hot water available. Not impressed, and wouldn't recomend this place at all
They take a bond off you and do not give it you back!! DO NOT book this apartment!!
Spacious, quiet, near main centre
The shower did not work, hot water runs out after 30 secs, I reported it to the agent who said I was using it wrong!! This complaint has appeared before, but has not been fixed. The kitchen was very poorly equipped, 3 blunt knives and 3 tiny saucepans, do not expect to self cater. My "good guest bond" has not been returned nearly a month later. Agent is unhelpful and rude. Generally not a good deal. Stay away.

The apartment was in a good location overall and had a very comfortable living room and bed. The balcony was a great bonus as you could enjoy the views around the apartment.
The shower only ran cold water and on trying to get this looked at we called on 2 separate occasions the number provided and were told someone would be out to look at this for us but never appeared even though we had provided contact details and stayed in one of the days as instructed by the staff we spoke to so this left us unable to enjoy our stay to its full potential
The apartment itself is outstanding.
The cleanliness of the apartment was shocking. Bedding hadn't been changed, polystyrene balls were all over the living room, dead flies on the window sill, balcony wouldn't open, over charged and still waiting for a refund

Ripped off for my deposit- For reasons unknown to me i have not yet recieved the money back you took from my card for the deposit. Also next to impossible to actually contact anybody at Deluxe apartments via phone to discuss booking/money owed to me.
Nowt dirty rooms.. Couldn't check in till 4 not 3 dirty towels.. The place was a complet joke.. Probably the worse ever.. I hate putting reviews on sites.. Had to put this one on.. Please please do not stay at these apartments.. Nothing like what they put in the advert..
The joining instructions were poor. The confirmation said park in bay ? I telephoned the number on the booking to ask for clarity on the parking bay number and the guy who answered said the office was now closed and he couldn't help until Monday (not very helpful given we were staying at the weekend). The telephone number is also a premium rate number (it cost me £3.50 to explain to him that we needed to know before Monday). The hot water in the shower didn't work. I checked the boiler and it all appeared ok. I emailed the company on the Monday but had no apology or explanation. The final straw was that they withheld our deposit with no explanation. We left the apartment in sparkling condition. I emailed them three times and phoned twice (on the premium number) to ask for my deposit back. The telephonist said they'd get back to me, but nothing. Avoid them , spend your money elsewhere.
The balcony was nice. The bed was comfy
There was an extra £50 deposit to be paid which only shows up after you book. Any questions I had before staying were briefly and very informally answered to, while still not making it clear. You can only get into the building between 3-5pm so when we got there at 7pm we had to stand around outside to wait for a resident to come by and open the door. There were no instructions as to how to open the balcony door, so for the first night we were locked out of the balcony. Eventually I figured it out but only by sheer luck. If you have a degree in plumbing you should be able to have a hot shower. We stayed two nights with cold showers. I rang the number provided and it didn't work. I emailed with my number and asked to be contacted by phone, a few hours later I got a response to say that someone must have used the water. When I explained that we haven't used any water I was given a brief description of how to reset a "water guard" which involved switching things on and off from the mains. After much time spent trying to figure it all out I had to admit defeat and went without hot water. Nobody would call me. Having initally requested a late checkout, I had sent an email requesting to cancel this, to which I got no reply. Checkout time is 10.30am, and at 10am a cleaner came to the door ready to clean the apartment. This makes me wonder did they receive my email about cancelling the late checkout or would I have been asked at 10am by the cleaner what my intentions were. Overall as an apartment it's nice. But you expect to have someone to assist you. To provide clean towels on the second day. To contact you and resolve any problems you have. It is not luxury, it pretty much ruined our stay in Manchester and I would not recommend staying here, with the exception of the balcony if the weather is really really nice, it is not worth the sacrifice of no shower and nobody to assist you in any way

I'm not one to complain, but this place was poor. Our bedsheets and pillow cases were so dirty that I had to remove them before bed. There were breadcrumbs and blood spots on them! The shower didn't work in the morning either, there was only cold water! We complained about this but didn't hear a word back, that's the most disappointing part. Do not bother with this place despite how nice the photos may look. Worth paying extra for another place, they don't deserve your money.

The bedroom sheets were dirty. One had blood stain on it. Tried for several hours without success to get any hot water. Facilities were sparse. Did not feel like a luxury apartment. Very disappointed. Will definitely to for a hotel in future.
Absolutely disgusting, poor cleanliness, no use of balcony, no refund! Beard trimmings in sink, stained pillows dirty and poor communication.
Bought flowers for £45 to find out they were from local supermarket. No hot water overall this was a bad experience and would not recommend to anybody and still not received an apology 5 weeks later
Great location and the lovely apartment if it had been serviced properly
Servicing agent was very unhelpful-the patio door did not open and when I rang to ask for instructions I was questioned why I wanted to open the door- did I smoke was it sunny? Very patronising and off hand-told to look in the kitchen drawer-no instructions found. The apartment could have done with a good deep clean and bed sheets were stained and un-ironed.
