Holiday Inn Kenilworth  

Eigentlich war ich nur da, um meinen Sohn zum Beginn seines Studiums an der Warwick-University zu begleiten. Kenilworth lag einfach am nächsten. Logistisch wäre hierfür im Nachhinein aber das etwas größere Leamington besser gewesen. Das Personal hatte erhebliche Schwierigkeiten am Sonntagvormittag ein Taxi zu bekommen, was schließlich dazu führte, dass das sog. "Taxi" mich um 10 Pfund betrog. Das Personal am Empfang war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war hervorragend ausgestattet, auch Sanitär und Beleuchtung top. Sehr nette Restaurants in unmittelbarer Laufweite und vom Hotel aus direkter Zugang zu Starbucks. Landschaftlich sehr schöne Umgebung. Das Frühstück im Hotel selbst war leider nicht so überragend. Auch der Frühstücksraum wirkte sehr kahl.

Bedroom window frame was broken and couldn't be opened. Gym access was added to key card but didn't work; went for a run instead. Inadequate staffing level at the bar throughout our stay.

Staff were polite & helpful.

Cooked breakfast was cold. Heating failed in my room on the second night.

Executive room was very comfortable, well laid out and well equipped.

Convenient location; friendly and helpful staff; clean room and good breakfast.

Too firm mattress and problems with sink and toilet.

the bed was tiny and uncomfortable,the room also tiny and the shower went sporadically from hot to cold.

We had pre paid and pre booked several rooms in advance with a none cancellation policy. Everyday for at least 3 days before our stay we kept getting phone calls asking us if we would wish to cancel any of the rooms? Why would we cancel rooms that we had paid for in advance and would give the Hotel more money getting paid twice for the same room. As we said to the receptionist at least twice we would rather leave the room empty than give it up! They cancelled one room without permission. If it wasn't for the location we would not use them again.

Very convenient to the event we were going to at Warwick Arts Centre.

Its location - near Warwick University, where our daughter is currently studying. Near various things to do, Kenilworth castle was excellent. Easy access. Hotel was very comfortable and in close proximity to restaurants and shops.

Unfortunately we could not get internet access and staff were unable to sort out why. Slight disprepancy over the final bill which meant I was expected to pay more than I felt had been made clear at time of booking. This was resolved in my favour after discussion

Excellent room, very pleasant staff.

We checked in late,so did not have a lot of time to explore the Hotel but everyone was friendly and the room was clean. :)

Excellant executive room having 2 opening windows and view to castle. Decor very good, mostly friendly helpful staff.

Room wasnt cleaned one day until I asked reception to have done. Reception staff very good except for 1 man who didnt understand my query just said "come again" not very professional.
