Dene House  

location was execllent,breakkfast was very nice and just done to how we like it,

the birds tweeting,at 5,bathroom radiator was warm at bottom,could maybe do with radio at breakfast as just a little to quite,

The location is excellent. From Bowness-on-Windermere you can easily do day trips to the other villages within the lakes district (we had a car). Dene House was so beautifully decorated. Rooms are lovely. The staff are so friendly. Highly recommend to all.

The staff. Very friendly and 'went the extra mile'. Provided complimentary tea coffee and cakes on arrival. The location. Very quiet but less than 5 minutes from the centre The room. Very clean and comfortable. A shower that actually worked properly (which is more than can be said for some larger establishments)

I lived in room 4, which was a single room with an independent private bathroom. It was exactly what it looked like in pictures! The breakfast are very delicious.Thank you for a comfortable night!

Beautiful house, beautiful room and excellent breakfast. The owner and staff were more than welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

Everything! The room was lovely, comfortable and immaculately clean. The hotel was literally just a 3 minute walk from the town centre.

The hotel was like a warm luxury home Quality furniture, plentiful breakfast and particularly friendly staff who were genuinely interested in their guests. If we happen to be in the Lake District again we will definitely book the Dene Hotel.

The owners were extremely friendly and helpful - a wonderful customer service experience. I appreciated the cake, bisucuits and pot of tea on arrival after a long drive up from London. Also thanks for making up my flask of tea for my daily trek in the mountains. Its definitely the best Guesthouse I have stayed at in the Lake District and will be staying there again for future visits. Its well positioned for the facilities of Bowness and the Guesthouse lies back off the road so feels very secluded with private parking.

we stayed in room 2 which was very spacious ,very clean and an excellent power shower,the breakfast was cooked to order and was lovely also with lovely fresh fruit and yogurt .This hotel is in an excellent location with lots of pubs and plenty places to eat and we will be going back .thanks for a lovely stay

Dene House very conveniently locates at a 3 minutes walk to the lake, restaurants, shops. Lots lovely pictures on the wall of this newly renovated house. Extreme friendly and happy staff Lisa made us feel welcome and hosts Ian and Jenny were willing to help. We stayed in a superior double room. The room is spacious and the bed is quite big as well.

Comparing to the spacious room, bathroom seemed to be a little bit small. Need some stable shampoo racks in the shower area.

Warm and friendly welcome. Offered tea/ coffee and delicious freshly baked cake and biscuits on arrival. Room was very well appointed, spotlessly clean, comfy bed with quality bedding. Excellent shower, plenty of hot water and a good quality bathroom well stocked with shower gel and shampoo. Breakfast was excellent, good selection of cereals and juices, toast and freshly cooked full English or salmon and scrambled eggs. Served quickly and very professionally each morning. The whole building looks like it has been recently refurbished to a high standard and you can tell that the owners went for quality fixtures and fittings. A great b&b better than many hotels.
