Very clean, nice sized rooms. Bed was comfy.

The room was freezing on arrival (not good with a baby) and didn't warm up very quickly either. Also the TV had a line across the screen making it hard to watch.

I had a problem with my mobile phone, and asked for a wake up call. They didn't wake me up at all!!!

Close to city centre so we could walk there. Friendly helpful staff. Good choice at breakfast.

Rather hard mattress and pillows. Sadly didn't sleep well at all.

Good disabled facilities,handy for railway station, quiet location.

No evening meals available, sandwiches were overpriced and very dry, I threw them away. Being disabled I could not easily go out to eat as it was late at night.

Hotel was clean, quiet and the staff were helpful. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. It was good value for money.

The location for what we needed,ie the football match. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Our room was very comfortable, and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

We didn't have enough tea and coffee; we arrived at 12.30 pm and both had a coffee, so there wasn't any left for the evening or Sunday morning. Also, if we both took milk there would have been insufficient for our stay. It would be nice to have a selection of different teas, and maybe hot chocolate.

Staff very friendly and efficient. Great location and 2 very good restaurants within 3 minutes walk. Rooms clean and comfortable with large screen flat TV. Excellent breakfast included in room price. City centre within walking distance. Would happily stay again.

We arrived just before midday and we was told that our room was ready so we were able to check in early, the staff on reception were very friendly and helpful ,our room was very clean and comfortable, The hotel was just 10 minutes walk from the centre of Derby,we would stay here again

The hotel was very close to Pride Park football ground only about a 10min walk.It was very clean and great to have a decent television with a digital clock.Also could not hear any noise from other guests.Breakfast was very good ....nice and hot although on our second morning there were no sausages available.We would definatly stay here again if we were in Derby.There is a Harvester pub and a Mexican food and bar accross the road so no need to go into town to eat.

There wasnt anything we didnt like.

We spent two nights at the hotel, and found the breakfast arrangements better than two other Express venue's with the food kept fresher and rolls, baked enough but not hard. Also the room was spotless, which is always a good sign of cleanliness in a hotel and the staff were really helpful Good visit all round, making our stay comfortable whilst we visited Donnington Park

should have read and taken note of the bad reviews as they came true the walls are paper thin and was waken at 4 in the morning by a baby crieing and the couple arguing when it was time for breakfast there was a big rush with none of the cooked breakfast left by the times got there and it wasn't even busy !!!

Very clean & all very helpfull

Stayed at several Holiday Inn/Express establishments and always find them clean, tidy and comfortable. The staff have always been very pleasant and helpful on each occasion and our rooms have always been what we expected.

The only downside we found, especially with this time around (think maybe as it is the school holidays) that there were lots of familities at breakfast and short of waiting in a queue for literally ages, we gave up on having breakfast but otherwise just what you need for an overnight stay for a city break. Shame though.

The bedroom was nicely set-out with good facilities. Comfortable and clean. Overall impression was relaxing

Breakfast was a bit of a 'bun fight'. There was a shortage of food and the staff did not appear to be coping very well. Staffing levels at peak time may not have been sufficient.

I stayed with my family for one night in two interconnecting rooms with air con. Very clean and tidy. Bed a little hard for me, but that is personal view. Great complimentary breakfast - sausage, eggs, beans, cereals, fruit etc. bar, wifi and Internet access via desktop (charged), self serve snack bar with prepacked sandwiches and microwave for heating ready meals. Ideal for families and those travelling. Location out of town - plenty of local fast food places and Derby fc ! Great value!
