Excellent hotel, and good quality for the budget hotel model. Rooms pristine, staff helpful and the breakfast was varied enough to suit most tastes. Close to city, and good parking

Nice clean rooms, attentive staff and a nice bar area. Excellent location and overall a very good saty.

The staff were a bit slow at bringing out the cooked breakfast items.

It was what we needed, reasonable and comfortable. Our room even had a sofa bd in which was perfect for the other two girls to come and watch television with us on the evening.

Breakfast wasn't really up to scratch.

The hotel offered everything we looked for in terms of price, service and location. The staff were friendly, helpful and effecient.

Unforrtunately, we visited on a weekend of rain, snow and icy winds which made the 10 minute walk with pushchair to the city centre complicated and had to resort to the car which incured the extra expense of parking. Coming from Spain we were a little chilly during the night and could have used an extra blanket. However, the staff did provide us with a heater which was fine.

Very clean room and a very comfortable bed location good for shopping. Pub across road did a loverly meal and reasnobley priced sorry but breakfast wasnt up to much in hotel but all in all enjoyed it and would recommed to stay

Just the breakfast wasnt that good crossant were like bricks and toast didnt cook that well soggy in fact only sausge and beans but wasnt even warm

Clean room, was a bit disappointed that the Football Supporters appeared to get their rooms first so they could get booked in before going to the match. I had booked my rooms 4 months in advance and was there for a party but had to sit & wait till last ?

The reception staff were very helpful and obliging. The location is quite and peaceful and although situated in the city it is very easy to drive to the north side for roads going into the beautiful Peak district.

Breakfast was a little disappointing.

The Hotel is nice and clean with friendly staff with a well stocked buffet breakfast with plenty to choose from, stayed here many times

Decent value for money.

The hotel claims to offer free WiFi but it is only free in the lounge area. To use the WiFi in the rooms you have to pay.

Although the room was comfortable and clean, the staff helpful and welcoming, the self service breakfast was not up to the standard of the other facilities and worse than other hotels which have been cheaper. (Poor range of fruit, no eggs, bread was cheap and nasty)

Very good value for money, no prententions so expectations exceeded when it costs only £46 including breakfast. Self service breakfast, including clearing your own plates away, a good innovation.

Breakfast offered a very limited choice.
