Beautiful view, quiet house in typical countryside. Friendly staff. Full English breakfast was very good. The room are not so clean and the furniture was battered. There are no cup and shampoo in the room. |

The friendlyness of the staff. The warm atmosphere, the scenery. The evening meal was perfect. Compliments to the chef... It was quiet pricey. We were in the attic room without a view just a small window facing the back of the kitchen. for £120 we expected to have at least a view.. We were there for our Silver anniversary although we did not mention this to the staff. |

As being located at the North West Lake area in the Lake District, it is very good access to an unspoiled beautiful area, i.e. Buttermere, Derwent lake and Honister pass. Not specially. |

The staff were friendly and accomodating and I felt my custom was valued. Room was cold as heating was switched off during the day. Annoying dripping shower and annoying shelf over the bath which I kept banging my head on. |

The hotel was stunning, i enjoyed a lot. i didn't like the fact to walk in a freezing apartment and during the dinner all the smokes and fumes from the kitchen were coming through into the apatment, and sorry the plasma tv was not working. |

I had a horrible time - went for peace and relaxation and got greeted by a party and disco of over a hundred people - suffered disco music, DJ talking, people talking and doors banging all night. The room was okay apart from being cold and having a complicated cooker with a mind of it's own. It advertised luxury and i got below standard. |

The manager was a great host and made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived at the hotel. The Grasmere one-bedroom apartment that we stayed in was spacious, contemporary and modern and was exactly what we had been looking for during our stay within the Lake District. |
