clean comfortable great value for money
can be a bit noisy at night but it is a student area
Poor kitchen facilities, rooms were basic and smelly, too many steps inside accommodation for young children, fire doors to take young fingers off, basic toilet facilities.
Staff very nice, rooms are clean and tidy, you get the room key, so its safe, the center is quite close, very good value for money, what do you need more?
Maybe only thick walls, but the neighbours were all great, so there was no problem :)
It was cheap.
Been given the wrong address.
We were within a 20 minute walk of everything we wanted to see in Edinburgh. With 7 travelers, this worked out very well for us.
5th floor without a lift, noise from neighbors
The location was convenient . The room was a good size. The kitchen / lounge was clean and spacious enough and pleasantly decorated.
The bed was very poor we had to put the mattress on the floor in order to be able to sleep.
Staff was very helpful and well behaved. Though a budget accommodation,it was value for money as location was very good and very cheap
Bed was not very comfortable.
Very cheap, had everything one needs for a stay.
Smelt a bit damp but I think it was due to the students who had lived there previously.
Very good price, clean rooms, safe, good location
Bring your own towel
Have well equipped with kitchen, whole set of utensils, kettle, fridge, tables and chairs. I think it is a good choice for group travelling . The whole apartment is clean and comfortable, but the premise location is not easy to find, suggest to take a bus to get there, only a few stops.
Liked open plan kitchen diner sitting area and seperate lockable bedrooms
I'm only 16 but I felt at home on my own. The girl at reception was really friendly. The shared lounge was big - 2 black settees, table for 6, big kitchen, good size TV. My bed was comfy. Fridges were clean. Meadows is a fantastic central location
The corridors are tiny. I am slim but a person of larger build might feel claustrophobic. I guess they are maximising use of space. But aprt from that everything was fab!
got an apartment to ourselves so plenty of room, double beds in each room
was a little bit out of the centre but in a good location
Fantastic location, and unlike a hotel it has everything you need if you are staying in Edinburgh longer than a few days, or for after you've been touring about for a while; washing machines, ironing boards, a fully-equipped kitchen so you can finally cook a meal of exactly what YOU like— that kind of thing. It's a college of course, so everything's plain and basic, but it's very very functional.
Bit of a rabbit-warren in layout and design, but that's colleges for you.
Full of kitchen equipment.
free wifi, value for the money, friendly and helpful staffs.
It is double bed, not twin bed
The bed was uncomfortable, like an old matress and only two very poor pillows.
it has very comfortable kitchen. i think is good if u want to cook.
i think is so far from city centre.
Very convenient for the centre of Edinburgh, handy bus stop nearby and convenient shops/eateries. Loved it for being on a budget, good size of room and could make own food to keep costs down. Defo recommend it!
No lift and we were on the top floor, but it kept us fit. Lol
The bed linen looked dirty. The kitchen was smelly.
Calm and nice for a short stay. You get what you pay. Very secure.
Not very close to the city centre. Poor water pressure in the bathroom.
Very homely stay
Check in time from 3 pm to 8 pm and late check in fee does incur. So, we arrive early leave luggage at the accomodation and need to rush back to check in due to this time restriction.
Cheap, excellent location, spacious flat
8 flights of stairs to get to my room manky floor in the bathroom
It was easy walking distance to the main city attractions. Also the room had everything i needed and even the benefit of a kitchen which helped to save money.
My first night felt a bit too much like i was at uni again with the excessively loud music going on until the early hours. I wish something could have been done about that.
