Couldn't mention anything
The property is outstanding. As is the quality of staff service.
The option of pillows other than feather would be a better option as not everyone likes to sleep with feather pillows.
liked the overall quality of the facilities and the location. The food was also excellent - a great selection of buffet and a la carte options for breakfast. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Evening service in the bar was quite slow. Also, at breakfast we had to ask for the a la carte menu; we were not given it when we were shown to our table.
Leisure facilities. Quality of bedroom
Setting was superb .Good health club facilities.
Bed needed replaced .Felt springs through mattress ,no support on edge of bed . Felt some of the staff could have been a bit more enthusiastic with their service.waited a very long time to be served in cocktail bar.
we dined at Martin wisharts restaurant and stayed overnight as part of our honeymoon we loved every bit of it and the staff were absolutely brilliant
Rooms are lovely Martin Wishart's is superb General ambience is very good Like that there is a high proportion of local staff right across the hotel. Happy and helpful porters/gillies.
Lack of managers setting the standard. Ideas are all there, but lack in attention to detail.e.g. Walked past room debris in corridors all day, including after the housekeeper was asked. Service in the GSB needs to be more attentive and watch for errors. Great hotel, but just misses due to lack of attention to the detail.
Excellent location. Room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Nice pool, good activities. Florets place to come with kids.
This is not a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was ok, not excellent and IT is fraying at the edges. Our evening meal at the Cameron Grill was nice but very expensive and the service wasn't up to it. Our wines arrived after our food and the waitress told us they usually had candles on the table but had 'run out' that evening so the restaurant was darker than usual. This is a 4-star hotel but definite improvements to be made.
Setting. Wi-fi throughout. Friendly, courteous staff apart from breakfast manager!
Had to wait nearly 10 mins for table for 4 at breakfast whilst 7 couples who arrived after us were seated immediately. Told it would take 2 mins to put 2 tables together! Manager v. nippy when asked why the delay! Poor attitude-expected better! Decor v. dark throughout.
Everything was perfect, the kids where happy so I was happy, had a great time!b back soon
Amazing room and location.
Messed up my room service food order twice had to wait a while for my food while my wife are hers
Staff were really friendly, location and hotel are amazing can't wait to return.
We had to come home.
Choice and quality of food and drink on offer. Rooms were comfortable and relaxing.
Breakfast times were very busy due to the high number of guests and staff were very stretched. Cleanliness of cups and cutlery was disappointing, we had to request an exchange for clean, unused utensils. Even though staff were busy it should be easy to ensure that clean, non-used cutlery is laid out on the tables.
the bed was very comfortable, the scenery was amazing and the leisure sweet was great.
I thought that the quality of the room service food was pretty average, especially for the price. The green curry was really bland and the cameron house open sandwich was dry and disappointing. The creme brulee was very nice though and a good size portion.
Food was excellent Spa was great
Service was poor had 4 different people serving our dinner. Prices don't include tax our treatment cost £145 total cost £176 uk tax is 20% doesn't add up?
fabulous setting lots of facilities and activities around the hotel. fantastic bar (The Great Scots). excellent food in Martin Wishart. fabulous breakfasts. friendly staff. helpful staff. complimentary water and milk in mini-bar.
the location of the spa (the carrick) 2km away. bathroom facilities missing regularly (robe, floor mat, toiletries). tea bags not replenished. nothing else in mini-bar.
I booked the exective room for myself and partner for a romantic break away for his birthday. I was over the moon to be informed at reception on checking in that we had been upgraded to the whisky suite. We were shown to the room and it was stunning! Views over the loch and three rooms to ourself. Very romantic the pictures really don't do it justice.
Always feel at home, very pleasant and relaxing place to be. Staff are all very friendly and can't do enough for you. We have been several times and will be back soon
everything, a true 5 star hotel.
a bit expensive, but worth every penny.
Staff and facilities were very good and they couldn't help you enough. Room was very comfortable once you figure out how to warm it up via the comfort cooling!
We thought that the hotel would be more rural than it was, but it is still a very pretty area. Food (apart from the fine dining which is excellent) was a bit poor in quality, which is the only thing that let it down from getting a full 10/10.
I took my girlfriend to Cameron House to propose. I had notified the staff ahead of my visit of my intention to do so and they could not have been more helpful. The setting was even better than I'd hoped. Every single aspect of the trip was great, valet parking, high quality food, spacious rooms etc.
Very friendly welcome, attentive staff, beautiful location by the loch, lovely meals in the restaurant, very comfortable room
the spa the view the staff cameron grill
Queuing for breakfast
View of the Loch. Boathouse Restaurant. Staff generally friendly. Location and view.
Very busy. Martin Wishart expensive. Room small and over -priced, makes Gleneagles look cheap in comparison.
