Not a great deal. Was very disappointed in the whole experience. Hotel is over-rated and over priced. The rooms and decor are very dated. Furnishings in the room were damanged or not fitted correctly. Bathroom was not clean, sanitary wear was damaged. The meal in the Bar was cold and had to be returned. The initial bill included many items that weren't ours. All in all a very very disappointing stay at what is supposed to be a luxury hotel. We have experienced much better and more enjoyable stays at so called budget establishments.

The staff were all pleasant and the food was good. The room was advertised on line with a view of the golf course. We were given a room on the ground floor with no view other than a walled garden. We were then moved after complaining, to a second floor room with in my view no better outlook as the view was very minimal. The sink in the room was dirty and there was dust all around the cabinet top near theTV. In my view the room did not meet my expectations and was not good value for money. I would have rather spent my money on a standard room. The rooms at Premier Inn I have stayed in on business trips are better.

Location & grounds very nice, decoration in public areas very nice. I was disappointed with the room decor our room was dated and the room lacked air conditioning. On the second night we had a fire alarm that appeared to be disorganised and lacked management and communication. The brassier restaurant was very disappointing for dinner; waiting staff were poor and showed a complete lack attention to detail. The wine they recommended was no longer in stock, no butter offered for roll, offered table water then failed to bring it, excuse they ran out of jugs. Meat was over cooked on both main meals. Although we found Breakfast was good and staff were friendly and attentive.

The food (breakfast and dinner) was very good. Difficult to get a wi-fi connection for my iPad - could only get it in the bar and grill, not in any other areas, even with help of hotel staff. Also, had to replace room key 3 times in 2 days, as it wouldn't work.

Spacious, comfortable and clean room with excellent buffet breakfast. Golf course on site was good. Good location for exploring that part of Norfolk and having coast within reasonable driving distance.

Dunston Hall was a very pretty hotel in the middle of nowhere. Outside, nothing but bird song, perfect silence. The restaurants were very good quality, the food superb. The room was comfortable - the bed devine! TV channels were not tuned correctly so didnt have normal variety for early morning TV watching... Car park needs a few holes filling...

The quiet location and huge grounds were great. Even though there was a wedding party that went on into the night we couldn't hear a thing from our room.bed was the comfiest we've ever had at a hotel, and the room was huge. Food was delicious, staff very helpful. A totally amazing building, worth staying just for the architecture!! Only quibble was room was slightly dated, bathroom especially. Window frames were rotten inside and one window didn't close properly. Glad it was summer or the draft would have annoyed me!! Reckon we were in "bargain rooms" as we got a half price deal!!

Staff were very helpfull. Food excellent. The water system seemed to produce brown water all of the time. There was no mineral water in the room and although it might be healthy the water certainly did not look drinkable. Also the water pressure was very low it took along time to run half a bath full.

The golf! The carvary was very nice but needed bigger plates to make the most of the food on offer ;-) Lack of choice for eating late afternoon/early evening as only the bar served food. Bunkers bar was comfortable but unfortunately didn't serve food after 5 and closed at 9.

Suits my son and I on a fishing holiday. Good location, carvery very useful after a long day out in the frsh air. No fannying around waiting for food! I had specifically booked a twin room. They had us booked in a double. With a coach party in residence, there was only one twin room left, which was horrific. However when I complained the next day we were immediately upgraded to a suite.
