Room was excellent we stayed in the king suite very comfortable and was massive with balcony.bed was very comfortable. Manager was very helpful
Nice big room excellent spa loads of parking very helpful staff
No fridge in room food all a bit overcooked very hot water which did have a sign to warn but still not safe
big tv a lot of facilities around wi fi
booked twin room in the morning ; arrived at 10pm - the room was not ready. some utility system very noisy every 15 min all night thru
The hotel and location were great
Breakfast could of been better
All staff were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble and all were very friendly.
Not much not to like, hotel did exactly what it said on the tin.
Room and facilities are good, slow service at bar when busy, however this is to be expected, entertainment was very good this trip, due to Christmas parties in bar.
Did not have breakfast due to previous visit and poor food experience at this hotel.
Pool, sauna & gym open from 7a.m. and free to use. Welcoming & efficient reception desk staff.
Very low level lighting in room. Position on the edge of a large leisure complex (multiplex cinema, ten pin bowling etc.) would not appeal to all.
Large room & size of bed. Also location was good for our visit and not too far off of the motorway.
Lack of light, a little noisy but have had worse. Croissants at breakfast were not to my liking I thought they tasted doughy & the hot food was on cold plates so not so hot. All are things that don't matter that much just niggle a bit.
While the hotel was generally clean and the staff tried hard to please we managed to open the door to the wrong room and it was only when we returned after our evening meal that we could not get into our room that we realised. We were assured it could not happen but were given keys for our "wrong" room instead of being moved to the room we should apparently have been in. The room was freezing and we could not get the heating on. The bathroom was not clean and the tea / coffee was almost used. In short we should have been offered the clean room we were booked into. The evening meal in the restaurant was lovely. The breakfast which we did not pre book was extortionate and we opted to go to McDonalds instead! We had a family meal booked for the afternoon for six people and this was very good and the staff were excellent. We have used the hotel before and were disappointed on this visit but would probably stay again and pre book breakfast next time. Management said we should have complained at the time when the heating did not work as they could have given us a portable heater.
No heating expensive breakfast
Gym very well equipped, large and attractive swim pool. Gym personnel helpful. Comfortable mattress, window had venetian blinds as well as curtains. Some traffic noise from main road but it didn't disturb my sleep. Corridor and adjacent rooms were quiet. Breakfast restaurant staff exceptionally helpful and cheerful. Buffet breakfast offered a selection of hot and cold foods. Not the best quality but I enjoyed it and was set up for the day. Two Indian restaurants on the opposite side of the car park, one next to tenpin bowling, the other next to cinema - two mins walk from reception. A Pizza Hut, just downhill, adjacent to the entrance from the main road. Spacious seating areas near reception. Free parking. Free morning newspaper. Less than ten minutes, fairly straight forward drive from M4, J16. Wifi worked well in my room and elsewhere inside hotel.
The bar food - I ordered fish and chips. The fish was ok the chips were awful, dry and tasteless sticks, which tasted nothing like potatoe. Next time I will try one of the two Indian restaurants on opposite side of parking area. Bedroom very dark - no main light. Bedroom sofa uncomfortable. Hairdryer hidden in a bedroom drawer. Large mirror over toilet. Toilet flush handle a bit weak.
Staff do a great job all round. The breakfast was also excellent with a great choice of food. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
The hotel was really well decorated with nice furnishings and pictures. Fab restaurant, coffee bar, bar and good facilities all round. Great food and good rooms.
Great location stayed over a weekend and although the hotel was very busy there was no noise at night and we got a great nights sleep on all three nights.
Great. Clean. A lot of space in the room. There was no minibar in the room, but there is a possibility to go downstairs.
On arrival, plenty of parking close to hotel, reception staff were excellent, room was huge and well appointed. Breakfast was very good, pleasant staff and a good venue.
Avoid at all costs the pub restaurant. Food and staff were equally the worst I have ever encountered. This had a massive negative on our stay.
Excellent breakfast & good restaurant & pub
Around the bath handles needed cleaning
Everything was clean, comfortable, everything was working!
Breakfast is only served until 9.30 ... A bit early to stop breakfast
proximity to my destination, a little over a mile
Lots of noise, and poor food choices.
The room was spacious an comfortable; free wifi is useful; many facilities on site.
Food in Village pub was poor - salty, poorly presented, small portions, flavourless. Lunch provided to the group was inadequate (simply not enough).
Rooms, excellent layout, very comfortable, parking, sports facilities.
Breakfast, this quality hotel deserves better breakfasts, the food looks and tastes cheap it is served in trays and you help yourself, however everything was overcooked after laying in serving trays under hot lights, sausages particularly were very cheap and tasteless and scrambled eggs were fit for the bin. Stick to the cereals!
Friendly and efficient staff Nice room
Room too dark . Energy efficiency taken too far!
the room was of a good size staff were very pleasant extremely good breakfast
room needed to be refreshed paper peeling off the wall Bar was quite pricey room was quite dusty room appeared to be very dark
Value for money Lots in area to do Facilities really nice and clean Quiet rooms All round good quality
Nila in italian restuarant. Credit to your hotel!!
Nothing but wish had hairdressers on site.
I loved the area, a lot of places to go.
Not enough tea, coffee and milk in the rooms, I can't really fault this hotel
