The staff were every efficient and friendly. The main reason for choosing the hotel was for its location. Perfect for anyone attending a Bolton wanderers away match and to treat themselves to an overnight stay.

Attending Bolton Wanderers match and hotel is part of Reebok Stadium so very convenient. I the past we have stayed there and were able to buy hot snacks at lunch time but these are not now available instead if you need a hot lunch in the hotel you have to pay £20 for the carvery.

Proximity to both motorway network, shopping and open countryside. Warm and friendly welcome from receptionist. Smart impressionable hotel, with good sized room, nice touches such as bottles of water and (sufficient!) tea bags to be able to have a cuppa in the evening and another the following morning. First time in a De Vere and would stay again. Well done!

Excellant. That simply sums up my opinion of hotel. 10/10, would reccomend 100% Flat screen tv in room would have made room more 'plush' but my room didnt have one, however I cant complain as room very nice.

For the price I paid last minute deal, what is there to say? Great value for a hotel of this calibre. Nothing much to say about the room, but it was a good double with separate table and comfy chair, so a reasonable size. The power show was excellent. Small gym with limited equipment, but still enough for a work out if that's your thing. A small but pleasant pool and spa area which wasn't busy when I used it so size wasn't a problem then, but at peak times maybe. Really no complaints. Usual hotel noise, room doors etc but that's guests, not the hotel.

It was my experiance that the staff in the bar and coffee area where not very focused uonn customers and kept me waiting for quite sometime while they ''chatted'' with each other before noticing i was standing at the counter waiting to be served ( must have been some 10 minutes or so.

The location as we were travelling back to Scotland from manchester airport. The front desk staff were first class on arrival and departure. There were people coming and going in the room next door206 all night we reported it in the morning as we didn't want any hassle from the offending guests if we had confronted them earlier. They never stopped banging door and talking laughing until 6.45 am. They were also smoking in the room we could smell it in the corridor and it was coming into our room under the door and vents.

Location and price was ideal with a retail park within close reach. The tv in the room should be flat panel digital by now in Bolton I would have thought. They are still using traditional CRT tv... Channels selection is very limited also, not as wide as you would expect from free view at least.

The staff are very willing and helpful. I disliked the first room I was allocated and they found us another one immediately. It was an upgrade but no supplement was added. We had a room overlooking the football pitch which, when there is no football match on, is delightful. Football fans would love it on a match day. The first bedroom on the front of the hotel, ie not overlooking the football pitch had an extremely small window placed high up the wall which gave the room a rather claustrophobic and cell-like feeling. There are many rooms like this which can be seen from the front, car parking area, of the hotel.

Free wi fi and very close to my office/train station Some of the tops in the room were dusty which I was very surprised and dissapointed to find. I usually stay at the Premier Inn across the road but on this occassion booked the De Veres as was a lot cheaper in price, I would always book De Veres if it was cheaper however if both were the exact price I would book the Premier Inn generally due to customer service. I find the staff at the Premier Inn very friendly and engaging without coming across as they have been made to be that way whilst at De Vere's the staff are all pleasant but their interaction with you is because it's their job.

Good value for money. Excellent spa/leisure facilities included. Comfortable room for price. Bar and eatery on site and lots of places to eat within walking distance. Breakfast was not included in our stay and was a little steep at £10 pp!

The hotel looks excellent and is placed handily for shops, nightlife and transport. The staff were all friendly and helpful. There was an issue with the room that we were assured would be rectified at check-out, but wasn't.

Clean rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable atmosphere. Rooms which look onto the football pitch do not have openable windows to let in fresh air. There is a patio door-style sliding window, but it is always locked for security reasons. There is controllable air conditioning in the room, but direct fresh air isn't available.

The pool complex is great and the family changing rooms Areca great idea. Room was nice as always but the bath leaked a little. Also, I booked an advance rate and the payment was not taken. This is the second time this has happened.

The meal in the restaurant was superb. With heavy luggage assessing Level 2 is a problem. You can use the lift but then have to drag the luggage doen the stairs. Stayed there lots....enery time we get a room on Level 2.

Great location. Shopping and cinema five minute walk away and only twenty minutes to the Trafford Centre. Breakfast and room service were great. The bedroom was very clean and the bed was comfy. Free parking too! Poor staff communication between reception staff and breakfast staff. Tv in room was old and needed updating.
