Location is great when attending a football match at the stadium :) Being charged for breakfast after booking room only and confirming room only when checking in! One member of staff told me that they do it as a matter of course...so watch out.

Location and easy access from/to motorway. Staff friendly. Good facilities Inadequate number of staff at check out desk. 1 doing checkouts and 1 answering phone for an hour! Given a disability adapted room when i did not ask for one and was not informed when I checked in that it was this type of room or I would not have accept edit.

1) The breakfast was very good and the staff in the restaurant were really polite and helpful 2) The location and view from the pitch rooms are fab 1) Rude bar staff to my friends 2) Reception staff who appeared to not know what they doing 3) After booking a stay for our friends and their family on arrival they said they were not aware of this booking. This is now being reviewed by management 4 The bed was not very comfortable 5) There was a large gap under the door which let in a lot of light at night 6) The TV's are out of date. Even Premier Inn have flat screen TV's! 7) Pitch view rooms do not have an opening window at the patio doors are locked! 8) The alcohol is very expensive at the bar. Even the bar staff complained of the prices!

The Wi-fi was great. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel wasn't too noisy at night like some where you hear doors banging and noise all night. Lots of parking. Supermarket next door! The window in the room was VERY small...not much daylight.

The room was spacious and well furnished and clean. It had everything I needed, with a little touch of luxury. The availability of a gym and a pool. Great parking. Long wait; queues at reception. Only 1 receptionist...queued to the door.

Easy parking. Good food. Failure of battery in door. 120 Had to get porter to gain entry. Take off door handle. This was after revisits back to the reception. I was told that I must have had my card near my mobile! That same evening My card had to be reloaded once again. No lounges at the side of the pool. The tv had a line across the mid top of the screen. I could not be bothered to complain yet again! No loungers near the pool

The staff were constantly helpful and very friendly. We wer very impressed with the service we recieved throught our stay. The hotel was gleaming and an absolutely beautiful establishment.Plenty of parking and a train station a 5 minute walk away. There is also plenty of shops/dinning facilities round the corner to keep u busy, theres even a cinema and a bowling ally. On top of this there is a lovely pool and a very well equiped gym in the hotel. All in all I could not fault this magnificent hotel. I can wait to return to it again. ps pitch view rooms are phenomenal! =] even ppl who arent Bolton fans can appreciate it!!

Easy to find, on the surface a very nice hotel with gym facilities and good location for travel. The room rate was good for the weekend but I would not stay here again if paying the full rack rate for mid week. I had a room facing the car park r215 and it was noisy even on a Sunday night! I stay in hotels on average 3 nights a week and expected more from this one. The bed was not comfortable and felt "cheap" almost like a hospital bed. I had to wait at the reception for staff to appear from behind a glass screening seemed invisible to the three bar staff although I was the only one there:( once they stopped talking amongst themselves they were at least very pleasant. In the morning I was charged for a breakfast which I did not have, a credit card charge which I did not expect and a charity donation which I do not grudge. The gym was very small but had all the equipment you need. The breakfast was at least refunded but a copy of the bill should always be presented before paying. Really disappointed as I was looking forward to this one and it did not live up to expectations.
