Staff were friendly and having a carpark in Salisbury is priceless. It was only a brisk 10 minute walk to the medieval centre.

Lovely B&B, the staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was cozy making the lovely city like Salisbury perfectly memorable.

The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the landlord was friendly and accommodating.

The shower in the en-suite was very poor. There was little pressure and it was difficult to control the temperature.

The pub is very run down and very untidy from the outside.The bars are basic and scruffy.No where in the local area to eat and drink ,had to walk into city 20 mins for decent pubs and food.No choice for breakfast which was served to your room!

Cleanliness of room, plus good breakfast plus the location.

Heating of rooms was inadequate and passage leading to rooms was not as pleasent as the rooms. If this portion is improved it will be even nicer place to stay at this hotel.

Room very clea, bed comfortable.. Staff helpful, welcoming, discreet, very central ,unpretentious. Excellent breakfast, delivered in morning at time of choice. Parking space reserved.

Struggled to get water temperature adjusted, parking is tight but that cant be avoided.

I liked everything. It is not a fancy hotel. Instead, it is a quaint little inn above a pub. Very warm and home-like atmosphere.

The staff and rooms are great and has a very friendly atmosphere. It is a 5 min walk from train station. Very clean and as a lone women felt very safe. Will definately be staying there again.

Unprepossessing exterior

Ideal for parking a car and then exploring Salisbury on foot. Excellent welcome and breakfasts. Superbly clean room.

Great value, superb breakfast delivered to the room. Clean, basic but yet provided everything needed. Plenty of tea and coffee making facilities. Seperate entry to rooms so you dont need to go into the pub once you have your key. Good landlord.

Exterior appearance looked run down, but the inside was far better

very friendly staff and lovely clean room. Pub downstaires so could get a drink while waiting for taxi. Lovely view from our room. Nice hot breakfast with good selection of condiments and preserves brought to our room.

thought there could have been a replacement for the meat options in our breakfast - we are veggie so we had no meat but there wasn't anything instead.

great service and facilities. Bags delivered to my room which was a generous size. Breakfast deilvered in the morning, hot and large portions. A delight.

Noise downstairs until about 23.30. TV in room 2 behind the bed and no armchair in which to sit to view it. Makes for a cricked neck!

If you're parking here, arrive early and be very good at it. This is a pub and they have three tight spaces that fill in early once the pub opens.

The best breakfast probably ever! The bed was very comfortable. Handy location without being in the thick of the town.

The room really needed updating. Decorations from the 1970's. Poor level of lighting. The T.V. was too small and with very poor sound quality. No extract fan in the en-suite bathroom (in contravention of Building Regulations). No shelf for toiletries. No fire evacuation diagram nor properly marked/lit exit route.
