Location and a very good rate Room rates vary wildly from day today makes it difficult to plan a trip on specific dates, top rate is very expensive for what it has to offer

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Devonport House. Ideally situated for the O2 arena for which we had concert tickets and was a lovely trip down the Thames on the clipper, taking us practically door to door. Loads to see in Greenwich on the doorstep of the hotel, and a quick journey into London to do the whole 'tourist' thing. Room was lovely and spacious, in contrast to city centre hotels, breakfast was lovely and staff couldn't do enough to help - even ordered us Pizzas in when we got in late from the concert starving hungry and everywhere else was closed !! Couldn't say enough good things about this hotel and we will definitely return whether it would be for an o2 event or a London weekend break.

Male, mature receptionist on Saturday evening was really helpful and friendly. Room small but adequate for our one night stay. Double bed was very comfortable and felt luxurious (quite high off the floor which I liked!). Adequate bathroom (in need of a refurb) but clean and plenty of towels. Couldn't work out how to open window in bedroom, but one in bathroom provided adequate ventilation (when door kept open). Excellent location near Cutty Sark and Observatory. Excellent rail links. Good selection of shops nearby. Would definitely stay again.

Great location. Free, secure car parking. Friendly professional staff. Fantastic Bed. Good buffet breakfast. For what I paid, I was delighted because the hotel surpassed my expectations. No air con in room. That said, the windows opened so it wasn't a big issue.

It's location, being central to Greenwich, is the ideal place to position yourself for a sightseeing weekend and to attend an event at the o2 Arena. With its Naval history and stunning architecture appearance on the outside, we were concerned that the reasonable price might reflect a mire 'standard' interior - how wrong we were! The staff were very welcoming in reception and a beautifully clean room, with everything required for a nights stay, was found easily, on the 1st floor. Checkout was probably the easiest & quickest that I've experienced. The handrail over rhe bath held water whilst showering, which leaked all over & neede mopping up, using the hand towels. A pack of biscuits per guest would have been appreciated, as would more than one teabag per person. Possibly hot choc as an option? It's a shame that the garden gates, leading to the Maritime museum, weren't open. It's a long walk round the building & into the museum grounds.

Beautiful building, comfortable room, bedside table was not clean on top, I had to use a wet-wipe to wipe stain off. But bathroom was clean. Lovely breakfast - very firendly breakfast waiting staff - they could not do enopugh for you and were very welcoming and friendly and were smiling all the time which is lovely to see. For £49 this was amazing value. Thank you De Vere - we will come again.

Friendly staff, great location, clean with large bedroom and lovely decor. Excellent breakfast and dinner all at a good price. Warm, friendly atmosphere. Free parking all day was a great bonus for London. A little trouble finding it, not very clear signs.

Excellent location. Next to the Maritime museum and close to all the sites in Greenwich. The staff was horrible, arrogant and lazy. Ken and Barbie behind the desk could not be expected to do some work. Two examples: When I arrived in my room the doors to the adjacent room were not locked, the persons staying could simply walk into my room. When I told Barbie she told me that she would see if anybody was available to solve the problem... When I returned from the pub later that evening... doors still open. So I ended up barricading the door with the furniture... and that for only 95 BP.Thanx Barbie! For this trip I needed seperate bills for the two nights I endured in this place. That could not happen, Ken was to bloody lazy and could not be borthered

It was a lovely hotel with a great location and friendly staff. Lots of restaurants in walking distance and only a short bus ride to the o2. There was nothing I didn't like about the De Vere Devonport House Hotel. It was a perfect stay.

It is located perfectly 100 meters from the underground and 50 meters from the Cutty Sark and other landmarks. I could not open the window in the bedroom, and the evening menu did not come out until that evening.

Stayed here to go to a concert at the o2. Reasonably priced and close enough to the venue. Nice breakfast - lots of choice. Comfy bed. We had booked but had no booking when we got there. Fair play though the staff did sort this. Rang for room service and no one was about. Not anything major that would stop me from staying here again!
