Great location next to Greenwich Park, 5 minutes walk from the Thames. Good to find a London hotel in its own grounds with secure parking. The hotel seems to be primarily used as a conference centre. |

Excellent location - right next door to both the Maritime Museum and Greenwich Park with the Observatory and Time Museums. Also within walking distance - 30 mins or so - of the O2 (the reason for our stay) and a couple of hundred yards from the river where there are frequent cruises to take in the sights. Lovelly looking room and very clean. Would certainly stay here if we were to visit Greenwich again. Due to the unusually hot weather when we stayed, our room was quite uncomfortably warm when we arrived mid afternoon, and still a little too warm for my liking during the night. |

Ideally situated for visiting the O2, quiet room location very clean and helpful staff. It was very hot and there did not seem to be any airconditioning which made the lifts, corridors and bedrooms quite uncomfortable temperature wise |

Beautiful building and location. Lovely staff. Only three minutes walk from DLR station and even better, Greenwich Pier which offers a stress free journey into the centre of London. Food and drinks at the Hotel were excellent value for money. I stayed at the De Vere during a heatwave and the top floor rooms were hideously hot. The staff were quick to supply a fan for my room but it was still uncomfortable. Whilst all facilities (other than mini bar) that I would normally expect in a 4 star were present, it did feel a bit like a travelodge room. |

Room was comfortable and clean and spacious. In a perfect spot right by Greenwich Park and the Observatory... Didn't feel it was 4 star - we paid only £29 for the night, so were delighted, but felt we would have been disappointed if we'd spent more. The complex is very much a conference centre with accommodation as an afterthought. Was surprised to find no Air conditioning in the room - it was a very hot night and so it was something we really missed... |

The room was very pleasant and the hotel's location next to the park and teh maritime museum was suberb. The main attractions in Greenwich are just a short walk away while the hotel was also very handily positioned with regard to the various train, DLR and river transport links. |

The location was excellent, situated in a quite residential area close to the DLR and Thames Clipper making the trip into Central London very accessible. Close proximity to Greenwich Park, the Royal Observatory and the Maritime Museum. Overall cannot fault the hotel for location, access and cleanliness. The reception staff on arrival seemed a little unprofessional attempting to deal with 3 or 4 customers at once and failing quite miserably to deal effectively with any of us. Also the room we were allocated was adjacent to the service cupboard. Due to the early start of the housekeeping staff and the seemingly constant opening and closing of the cupboard we were awakened early each morning of our stay. The hotel room door was a poor fit with a gap of between 1/2 inch and an inch at the bottom. Also the fire door at the end of the corridor next to our door was quite noisy when in use, perhaps a more effective dampener could be deployed |

The hotel itself is very grand. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The rooms were comfortable. Great location for the o2. A 10 tube ride for 15 minutes on the bus. |

I enjoyed my stay at De Vere Devonport House. As my visit was mainly to attend a concert at the 02 Arena, the hotel was within walking distance which was perfect. An excellent idea to have food arrive from our return from the concert! An old English style building which was beautiful outside and inside. Unfortunately there were a couple of minor issues/complaints that I have to raise. On one of the two dates of which we stayed at the hotel, as my partner and I were in the middle of getting ready, a member of the cleaning staff, despite us having the door locked; barged in without warning, we advised that we were just gathering together our belongings and would be out in a moment, the cleaner was... |

We liked the free internet access. We liked the grounds. It was very quiet being removed from the street and near the park. During our four-night stay, we only had one change of sheets -- and our sheets were dirty... still, they didn't get changed. |
