Party Noise until 12 pm
location, bed was comfy and despite parties going on downstairs it was soundproof - maybe because we were on the 3rd floor, also was cosy and warm, tea and coffee making facilities and could open a window
fan in the bathroom didn't work, corners not vacummed, poor finishing of room e.g. sealant in bathroom, broken blind. Could do with a bit of refreshing
I liked the ease of checking in and the friendliness of the staff the choice of food for breakfast was very good all round experience was good
Eileen in Reservations was excellent very professional and helped me a lot Great Stay
The location and the history surrounding the building.
Reception needs updating a little. Breakfast was nice but not a lot of choice i.e. cereals and fruits very limited, no nice breads and danish pastry very poor. Cooked breakfast a bit on the cold side. Staff though very helpful and friendly in the restaurant.
Ease of use of public transport, Bus, Boat, Train or Undergound, good location for visiting O2 Arena or London sites
the breakfast staff are amazing bed ultra comfy fabulous location
bathroom a bit outdated and tatty- surprised, especially for the price lots of noisy fire doors shutting near by room, late into the night---that was possibly a bit of bad luck with room placement
We have visited here several times before for my wife's birthday, always excellent
Greenwich is ideal location for business and tourists alike. Friendly staff, food nice, value for money
Staff are very friendly & helpful. Great location for O2 & London. Also, Greenwich itself is very interesting.
Background humming noise through the night. Unsure if heating or traffic
A German member of staff - possibly the Manager- went out of his way to help us. Breakfast very cheerful atmosphere
Details about the car parking could have been clearer
Right next to Greenwich attractions and boat service to Central London and Westminster. The downstairs was pleasantly furnished and the room, although small, was comfortable and clean. A lovely building and good parking for a small fee. The general atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable with most of the staff walking by nice and smiling. Asked for some more milk and toiletries and they were supplied promptly. Breakfast was reasonably priced at £8.50 for a continental and cooked buffet.
The man at the restaurant welcome desk at breakfast was too loud and exuberant and kept talking to me at my table while I was trying to eat my breakfast in peace. I will visit the hotel again though. The downstairs bar /lounge area looked nice and comfortable but I didn't use it as there was a party of very loud party-goers ( it was a Saturday night near Christmas ) Would prefer separate shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, instead of just combined hair and body wash and also body lotion and shower cap which most venues provide , but that's a minor point.
The location & the "authentic" navel feel of the hotel
Charged for breakfast on two days when we only had breakfast on one day
Had a really nice time, thank you. Staff were very nice and helpful accommodation comfortable. Will stay again..
Plenty of things to see, markets, museums, great restaurants.People were really friendly and very helpful, you could walk to all the interesting places, easy to reach the capital.
The hotel is very convenient for the 02. It is situated in a nice area of Greenwich
We had stayed at the hotel earlier in the year but since then the prices have risen considerably and a charge for using a credit card as opposed to a debit card has been introduced.
A huge disappointment. We wanted a nice smart hotel near the Cutty Sark, where we were having dinner. Hence the surprise at such a disappointing standard. Grubby bathroom, dirty grouting, needed refurbishment. Felt like a student bedroom. Only 2 pillows for 2 people (none spare in wardrobe as expected) The room was cold when we arrived, radiators were off. Dining room was squashed. No Gluten free alternatives available at breakfast. Free Wifi would not connect at all. Broken TV control.
Good room, extra pillows arrived quickly as requested, helpful staff, value for money breakfast and the location was very good.
There was some disturbance from the bedroom above during the night - possibly sound proofing needs attention to reduce the squeaky bed effect of over enthusiastic social activity!
Second visit this year, friendly staff, great location, hopefully will be back again!
Pillows,but that's a personal thing!lol
Staff were very friendly, very helpful, and always smiling. facilities were excellent. All very relaxed.
Pillows slightly to hard
Staff, location, large comfortable warm room, parking, value for money...
Didn't have enough pillows, was corrected on our second night slept like a log
Lovely comfortable hotel with easy access to the city.
Having to pay for the car parking.
The reception staff especially Amalia were so helpfull, I can't praise them enough. Our room was extremely comfortable and we will definately stay there again
Hotel staff great, great location good buffet breakfast - as much as you can eat (cheaper if paid when booking in). Near to everything we wanted to see - maritime museum, chapel, dining hall, royal observatory, Cutty Sark, craft market and great pie and mash! Arrive via the river - only way to travel!
