this hotel is excellent, staff are friendly, the hotel has great facilities, extras like coffee in the lobby are included, the parking is excellent value and they allowed us to stay over the 24hr period without fussing despite my offering to pay.
Excellent position in the town and right near an entrance to the park. Lovely building and grounds. Nice bar area with comfy seating.
Our room had a background noise all night like an engine whirring, probably from outside the window. Only one pillow each on the bed.
Loved the location. Facilities were good and in general the look of the building looked fantastic.
The room we stayed in, in need of decorating....bathroom very tired and mould in and around the bath. Windows very hard to shut.
Reception was very welcoming Really liked the room size! Very comfortable bed!
Room too warm & couldn't open window! Breakfast not included in the room price! No mini bar
The room was quiet and comfortable and kept very clean
Service from staff was a little shaky but ultimately alright
Hotel was a haven away from the bustle of the festival
A great location within walking distance of the Cutty Sark and Greenwich Painted Hall, and lots of restaurants.
The hotel were a bit mean on things like shampoo/soap - no body lotion provided. No nibbles when drinking their cocktails, no 'dressing' on cocktails. A nice courtyard to sit in for cocktails but very plain and uninviting - no plants, no candles. Just a few simple changes could make a huge different to ambience and comfort.
Excellent location, comfortable beds and a good breakfast
Easy to park at the hotel. In an excellent location near to all that Greenwich has to offer. Nice bar. Friendly and efficient staff.
Location Quiet room Free wifi
Not really 4 star standard. Staff not too hot on customer care

Ease of secure car parking and price , location ,
Excellent location for our stay ,quiet room and lovely staff
Bathroom was not as clean as I had hoped the bath had black hairs around and in it I had to clean it before use
Location and food places
entrance difficult to find off main street
We always stay at Devonport House when visiting London.Excellent location in Greenwich.Clipper boats to main attractions in London 5 minutes walk..So much history in Greenwich...the lovely park...Cutty Sark.and great market etc....
Moved room because of noise from outside air con equipment?
The location was excellent as we were visiting the National Maritime Museum.
The rooms were very warm and a little uncomfortable to sleep in.
Overall presentation of hotel. Very clean and smart. Excellent staff in all areas of the hotel. Great breakfast. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again!
We were at this hotel during the July heatwave and the room was extremely warm. The ventaxia in the bathroom seemed to have broken. Our main complaint was the rather rude manner of one of the cleaning staff who was extremely rude to my son. The customer is always right so I have been led to believe. However, this matter has been reported to the hotel who I hope will take it up with the person concerned. The other staff were very polite and friendly.
The room was stiflingly hot, with only one fan. The window only opened a couple of inches. There were security locks everywhere including the use of the lift, we didn't find this very reassuring. Breakfast was terrible, we wished we had waited to eat at Greenwich market instead.
Location. Next door to all the great Greenwich attractions. Restaurant staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating.
Far too early breakfast and check-out: not what you want if you arrive the night before after a long-day travel. Half way through unpacking we were asked if we could move to another room (we had been given an 'accessible' one which was 'suddenly' needed). We agreed of course, but the new room was not 'the same' as the one we were asked to leave: much smaller, especially the bathroom, with hardly any shelf space to place out toiletries.
Really good size room and very clean with all amenities including an iron and ironing board. Check in and check out was quick and easy. Location is excellent being in the heart of Greenwich.
Breakfast was a bit cold and not quite the quality expected. Air in room was very dry and hot.
Location, room nicely decorated, good breakfast for the money, friendly and helpful staff.
Although we could open the window some way the room was still hot which hampered our sleep. Asked for a top sheet for the second night of our stay which we used instead of the duvet. Suggest top sheets are provided as a matter of course.
The welcome and helpfulness of the Staff' A good choice for breakfast at a very reasonable price.
