The Somerset Levels are perfect for walking and cycling, with many paths and tracks in the area. It's a great opportunity to escape from the noise and bustle of city life.
Wells Street (Clarks Village), Taunton, Yeovil, Sherbourne, Shaftesbury, Bath and the coast are all within an hour's drive.
Please note that for Weekends Bookings ( Fridays and Saturdays): cancellation need to be made 14 days prior arrival, so no fee will be charged. Any later cancellation or no show, the entire reservation will be charged.

Cool place to stay. Friendly staff. Lovely bedroom. Good breakfast. Wouldn't say I didn't like but did notice that bathroom poorly finished - tiles etc also not very user friendly - mirror too small and too low. No hairdryer provided but was told later I could have asked for one. None of this spoiled my stay. I would return. |

Fabulous sized room. Decor was great. Food and drink were excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyable experience. Hopefully I'll make a return visit one day. |

We booked a double room but were given a beautiful, contemporary room with a four poster bed at no extra cost on arrival; presumably because it was free. Our stay was very relaxing. A great bar and choice of real beers and a wonderful breakfast. Liked it so much, we stayed another night! Beautiful part of the world. Very memorable. Highly recommended! |

Wonderful place. Very stylish rooms overlooking the village green. A few horses clip-clopped right by our windows. The food in thye pub & restaurant was excellent - some o fthe best that we had on our travels through the West Country. Relatively close to Glastonbury. No one was there when we arrived in the afternoon because the pub closes 1500-18-00h. There was a posted phone number to call, once you found the correct door. |

One of the most comfortable hotels I've stayed in for a long time. Very warm, staff were excellent, and very clean. Can't vouch for the food first hand as I rarely eat English or Irish food but was told by others it was very good. |

Location and building very nice and traditional English Inn. The internal fittings and lighting in the bedrooms was very impressive and modern. Liked the reclining bamboo chair.The range of UK and continental beers was outstanding and included my favourites of real ale and German Hefeweizen. The information held by booking.com is incorrect and does not reflect that the hotel has informed them that it closes between 15.00 and 18.00 hrs. I and another guest arrived at 17.00 in a snow storm and had to ring for someone to let us in. |
